We called him on Friday and he came over to give quotes and started the job the following Friday. Joel and his helper Levi as great. They arrived when scheduled and did an outstanding job on replacing the tub/shower into a shower. They also replace the shower pan and walls in the other bathroom replaced the sinks and faucet.

Responds quickly to requests, questions and was very reliable.

Mr. Amaya seemed very nice and helpful during negotiation and guaranteed professional quality work. I chose Handyman Services because he did a very small job for me the previous year, and did it well. He appeared honest and trustworthy and stated that he was a Christian. It did not take long to realize that I was mistaken. He lied, slacked off, cut corners, took other jobs while working on my project, attempted to add several thousand dollars to the total, failed to do what he promised, failed to get required permits, installed the wrong type of flooring, and refused to make it right, the paint job was a joke, ruined the new floor with paint spills, took 7 months on a one month job, and then refused to finish, abandoned the job and then took me to court, and he LOST his case in court. I would hate for anyone else to go through this with him.

He realigned several doors that did not close. He made sure that all the doors closed securely and quietly.

The work site was left clean with no debris. Showed up on time and was very pleasant.

Called Joel on recommendation, he was very polite and there was no hesitation to come by at a time that was convenient for me. Upon meeting we got straight to business. He took the time to listen to what I needed done and showed no hesitation in getting the project done. We previously had another carpenter look at what we needed to be done, but I guess the task was too much for them to handle. With Joel, I was given a fair estimate and with that we scheduled a time and date for the work to be done. Joel showed up 10 min early and within a few hours he was done. We are very happy with our new doors and we ll definitely have more work for him to do in the future.

Actually, I had him install wood floors not bathrooms, but he did such a good job with the flooring, I am going to hire him to remodel 2 bathrooms. He is hard worker, honest and does beautiful work at reasonable prices.
