Danny Sosa

I had known Mr. Sosa when he was a child, so when he offered to repair my rental house in Odessa, I felt that would be a good decision as I had already had problems with other contractors. I was wrong. Initially it appeared that everything was going well, even though he was slower than he said he would be. The price was good and the quality of work on what he had finished was good. Because I live a long distance now from Odessa, and I had made several trips to check on my house, I decided to give Mr. Sosa the final payment because I was confident he would complete the job soon and I couldn't afford to keep driving 730 miles round trip to Odessa. I even gave him a $500 bonus and an extra $100 for supplies if he needed them. PAINT ME EMBARRASSED! The minute I walked out the door he packed up his tools and hasn't touched the house since. He and his girlfriend had suggested that his girlfriend's daughter and family become my new renters (which I agreed to). The renter had to move in with a completely unfinished kitchen because she had to have a place to live. Even though she is his girlfriend's daughter, he has made no attempt to complete the job and he will not return my calls. I have now had to sue Mr. Sosa in small-claims court.
