I think him and I got off on the wrong foot, because I asked for a free estimate, then we can talk. He didn't quite do it that way. To me, it's common to talk about what you want done and then, they look at that and then they give you an free estimate. His card says to call for your free quote, and that's what I was trying to do and he didn't quite understand that. I let him put the fence in for me and he did a real good job. I needed more work done, but I just didn't have the rest of the money for him what else I wanted done yet, because the labor would be $1,250 plus paint and wood. I had two buildings I wanted sanded and painted and to put some new wood on them. He looked at it and said what he could do. I showed him a couple of more things that I wanted done and that's when he gave me the estimate of $1,250 plus parts and supplies. The work he did for me was good, and when I get enough money, I'll probably call him to do the other work I need to get done. He cleaned up well. He fixed the fence like I wanted and I was happy with that.
