Charles and Cynthia Goodman did an excellent job. They were extremely professional. Chartes Goodman did the work himself, so was always on site. They subcontracted with a concrete company. I would definitely use them again. I had given up on getting my mother's steps done after several unsuccessful attempts to get an estimate from an A-rated Angie's List masonry service provider. Then, I received Charles Goodman's name from an A-rated concrete service provider. I am so happy that we did not give up and gave Charles Goodman a try. They provided a detailed contract, which is very important to me. They did the work exactly as stated in the contract and we paid exactly what was stated on the contract. The only issue we had was in the delay of a subcontractor picking up the trash bin from y mother's yard. With the Florida rain, the grass should recover soon. I am actually happy that things did not work out with the other service provider. It feels so much better to pay someone who actually wanted to do the work for us. I see why Charles Goodman stays busy based on word-of-mouth referrals, although he is was not listed o Angie's List. But I still want to provide this review for other's who may be struggling to find a professional mason in the Jacksonville area, as there do not appear to be many choices.
