Service was great. Came out within the hour. Very friendly and professional. Took the time to explain exactly what they would do. Had to go and get the part. The whole thing took under two hours. Water was back on quickly. Replaced one ball valve and 1' of pipe. $348. Seems like a lot. Was during business hours on a weekday. Otherwise I would have given an A.

They do a great job. They do plumbing and air conditioning. They're a very reliable company and they come on time and they clean up after themselves. They're not necessarily inexpensive, but plumbing is not inexpensive these days. Everything is expensive when it comes to getting a specialist in to do something.

We did have another issue with a clog in the front yard plumbing lines. I told them that we needed Tuttle Plumbing to auger the sewer pipes in the front yard. They said they would come back to do this. I called them and they said that their auger broke and needed to get another auger from Wisconsin. I thought, a big plumbing company has only one auger? The call center guy said an auger was ordered and they would call me back. Two weeks went by and no phone call. I called and this guy said that they still haven't got an auger. Keep in mind our plumbing was not in good working order, and when i called this guy in the call center he actually said, 'we don't actually have a great urgency for an auger because we don't use them that often.' That is all I needed to hear, we went with another professional company.l

When I called to get a bid they were great. They asked lots of questions and answered even more. I felt very comfortable with the amount of knowledge they had going in and was not disappointed. They arrived early (called first), worked efficiently, explained how stuff worked along the way and answered even more of my questions. They were very patient. They came back a couple of days later to check on the mud sink without complaint and made some adjustments and it works perfectly!

Ronnie and associate arrived promptly, and performed a list of services to help prepare a 15 year-old home for sale. They repositioned a T&P valve on the hot water heater (major job); repaired a kitchen faucet; repaired a slide bar and re-set a commode in the master bath, and checked shower diverters in both baths. All work was top-quality and professional. After the work was done, the crew showed me what they had done, and checked the home inspection sheet to ensure that any items noted were addressed. We have used Tuttle Plumbing and Air Conditioning before (once for a midnight emergency), and always found the folks there to be courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, and reliable. These folks know what they are doing, and they do it well.

Replaced the thermostat on a Whirlpool hot water heater. Replaced all the old pipe with 'code' approved pipe and valves. Obtain a installation permit from the City of Converse, for which the city charged $50.00 dollars. This was an extra monetary burden placed on me by the city government, that I believe is unjust. It was enough to pay the plumbing expenses but then the City of Converse charges me to have a plumber repair my broken hot water heater. I am pleased with the Tuttle Plumbing, the entire staff was helpful in trying to save me money with applying a $200.00 dollar warranty rebate on the thermostat. The manager Tommy and the plumbers that came to my home; Kevin, Jason, and Matt, were polite, professional and considerate of my extra expenses from the city permit. They always show up quickly, after we call for service. They work quickly and efficiently to correct the problem.

Our sewer line was backed up. The plumber we used previously told us we should get someone with a camera to tell what was really causing this periodically, so we called Tuttle. They quickly found the blockage and removed it. They also told us that our sewer pipes look fine as I was worried they would need to be fixed and make it really expensive. I really appreciate their honesty in telling us they didn't need anything further done. They were wonderful to work with and I will definitely call them in the future.

I have used Tuttle Plumbing for various jobs since moving here 4 years ago. From big jobs to little jobs they're always prompt, knowledgeable and professional.

The toilet began spraying water from the connection to the tank. We turned off the water and searched for a plumber. We decided on Tuttle but by this time it was after their closing hour. I left a message to call me the next morning. I got a call just a few minutes after 8 the next day. We made an appointment for later in the afternoon. Late morning I got a call that Kevin was on the way. He replaced the defective parts and others that were old. He also adjusted the other toilet which had not been set squarely against the wall. He was friendly, efficient and completely professional. I have no reservations about recommending him and will call Tuttle the next time I need a plumber.

The guys from Tuttle Plumbing came soon after we called, and found the reason for the leak. The repaired it quickly and to our satisfaction. They also cleaned the water left over from the leak.

The cost is a little high but they always come out the next day or the same day, they are very quick. They do a good job and they are very professional. I have used them quite a bit over the years. I called them today for sink installation and they are going to look at my icemaker as well.

On arrival late in the morning of 6 January, the Tuttle Co. plumber declaired that we had no ground level clean out pipe and that our pipes could only be cleaned by climbing on the roof which he said he could do because Tuttle Plumbing company?s insurance did not allow them to climb on roofs. He recommended we install a sewer clean out pipe on the ground and said he would have the office work up an estimate of what it would cost to install a ground level clean out pipe. Instead of sending an estimate, they sent a bill for $74 dollars for the visit. We refused to pay the bill and called another plumber who found the ground level access pipe that Tuttle's plumber failed to find. We were Tuttle customers since the first days that Hugh and Dianne Tuttle formed Tuttle Plumbing, however after they retired the company went down the drain! How interesting that they would give my name to Angies List as a happy customer 7 years later?

I called Tuttle about 1:45pm on the afternoon of 7/19/13 because my air conditioner had frozen up. The dispatcher I talked to said a technician would be at my house by 5:00pm. He called back ten minutes later and said that a technician had just returned to the office and could be dispatched immediately, would be there in fifteen minutes if I was home. I was pleased at the response and told him so. TWO technicians arrived thirty-five minutes later at 2:30pm and checked and adjusted the pressures and added two pounds of R22 refrigerant. They also added a dye capsule to detect leaks and retrieved the serial number of the unit from the unit in the house. He said that, based on te serial number the unit was over ten years old, that it was too old to clean the dirty coil that was causing the problem and that his office would contact me about replacing the coil. He did not visually inspect the coil, never saw it as it is enclosed and he didn't remove the panel to view it. They left at 2:56pm, having been on my property twenty-six minutes. To date, I have received no calls from Tuttle regarding the coil replacement. I received a bill on 8/8/13 for $250.64. I called Tuttle on 8/9/13 regarding the amount of the bill and was told that the person with whom I needed to speak was unavailable, but that she would return my call. Having received no response, I drove to Tuttle's facility on 8/20/13 and inquired about the amount of the bill. The receptionist summoned the person I needed to speak to and she explained that the hour and a half labor charge was partly drive time from the technicians' prior call in an adjacent community, although the dispatcher had told me on the phone that he was dispatching the technician from the office. I live five minutes from Tuttle's facility, but was billed for the drive time from the techs' previous job to Tuttle's office, then to my house. $49.00 was for the leak detector capsule, but no inspection was done to see if there was, in fact, a leak. I protested both charges and was told to pay whatever I thought was fair, but that, in the future I should consider a different company for my air conditioner service needs, all the while trying to converse with the lady with whom I had begun my conversation and an unknown man who engaged himself in the conversation uninvited. I adjusted the amount from $250.64 to $164.93 and mailed the check today, 8/21/13 and will most assuredly heed the suggestion to go elsewhere in the future. I have inspected the "dirty" coil myself, found it to be spotless. It was undoubtedly replaced at some point previously. The system has performed perfectly since the two pounds of refrigerant was added over a month ago now.

We called about a bad leak under the kitchen sink. Tutttle came out right away and found that the problem was with the garbage disposal. They immediately got the correct disposal and replaced the bad one.

I have been using Tuttle for years and every time they come through on price, service, and professionalism. They handle my plumbing and ac at two houses. I couldn't be more satisfied each time they come here.

They were great. I love them, and would use them in a heartbeat. They were reasonably priced, and treated me with respect. They knew exactly what needed to be done. They were very professional. They had to come back with the report the next day so I could get my gas turned back on. They were very careful to make sure that my dog stayed in the fenced area as they were working, and I appreciated that. I would recommend them to anybody, and have recommended them to my neighbors and friends.
