On time and charged me the price he quoted. He installed a much higher quality PRV than many other plumbers do -- at about half the cost. And saved me alot by suggesting a do the digging and i just pay for an install (only took 90 mins and save me alot). And he was extremely honest, I mis-counted and handed him one $20 too much and he counted it and pointed it out and gave it back. I highly recommend this guy!

I wanted to hire a local plumber to redo my water softener connections. Ed gave me a quote over the phone. The quote only included parts and 3 hours of labor. No hourly rate was given for the labor. Ed stated that he told me the labor rate on the phone, but he did not. Needless to say I was shocked when I heard the amount I owed. The amount was 150% of what I expected. Ed’s work was outstanding. I am very happy with his work but not with his communication. If you hire him make sure you have a complete estimate. I paid a few hundred dollars and didn’t even get an invoice. I will stick to plumbing companies who will stand by their estimate and provide an invoice for the work done. He did let me write a check for the work even though he told me that my bill was based on a cash estimate. That was another point that was not told to me when he gave me a quote.

After getting about 6 quotes , we hired Ed to install new kitchen faucet, ro system, soap and modified plumbing to fit new sink and install dishwasher and gas stove. Ed was great and took his time to get things done just right and to our satisfaction. When an issue arose, he carefully explained and provided solutions. His price was good compared to most others but his quality was great.

First off, let me say that Ed has been a neighbor of mine for nearly 10 years. I have never questioned his integrity. He has done quite a bit of work around my place, some for free, saying that’s what neighbors do, but his prices were always fair. He is an expert at what he does and always takes the time to explain what’s the right way and what’s the wrong way. He does not compromise in his methods or materials. Nor does he recommend other tradespersons that he does not thoroughly trust. He has been honorable with the way he has dealt with us, his customers. Although, it is not my concern how he handles his business, I can only assume that it too is honorable. Ed is a great plumber to work with and I highly recommend him.

Let's just say that I had used IGWT Plumbing several times over several years at two of my houses. I was usually pretty satisfied. I don't know what Ed's problem was on this date. He went to my rental to find out what the leak in the kitchen ceiling was. He checked under the upstairs master vanities and couldn't find the source. He called me (my tenant was with him) to say he thought he needed to poke a small hole in the kitchen ceiling to pop a microscope light up to see if he could see a leak. I told him, yes, a small hole. Next thing I know my tenant calls to say Ed was cutting three large jagged holes in the ceiling large enough to put his head through to continue to search for the source of the leak. This was not approved. I called Ed to tell him to stop and leave. I asked him to mail me an invoice. He said the work performed cost $200 but if he mailed me an invoice he would charge an extra $50. We argued. I knew his professionalism was always a bit shady. He usually wanted cash and wanted to do the work with a and quot;handshakeand quot; no receipt. Because he was always doing work at my rental I always insisted upon a receipt. He seemed to reluctantly write me one when I asked. His prices seemed pretty fair at first and he was very responsive. I could not believe he was asking for an extra $50 to mail me an invoice on this occasion! Ridiculous. I think this guy is afraid of a paper trail. I would never use Ed again. and quot;In God We Trustand quot; Plumbing. Really? I didn't trust him anymore. The ceiling in my rental was a disaster! Estimates to repair it were $800. Thank God my tenant is handy and he repaired it for me. What a mess Ed made...and I specifically told him and quot;one small hole for the camera or microscope light he was usingand quot;. I should've taken a photo. It looked like a 9th grade shop student made the holes. And he never did find the source of the leak after all. It's hard to find a good plumber. Ed seemed like the right guy, but increasingly became the wrong guy over the years.

Called Ed, and he came out the next day to get started. Even though the plumbing from the builder was a mess, he quickly and professionally installed the valve. When he was finished, he put my sod back and cleaned up . He was very professional, i asked about using lower quality materials because we were selling our house. Because of his ethics, Ed wouldn't cut corners or do a cheap job. He does it right the first time. He is now my plumber.

This was the fifth time I have used IGWT Plumbing since discovering Ed (recommendation from a neighbor) three years ago. I feel so lucky to have him to rely on for all my plumbing needs. At each call he has been prompt and professional and has done high quality work (unlike the original plumbers who worked on my home). Over the past three years he has replaced both of my water heaters, installed a faucet, fixed leaky toilets, installed a kitchen sink, cleaned out clogged piping, replaced a water pressure valve, and now located a mystery leak, I wouldn't trust my plumbing to anyone but Ed. At our first meeting he found the water pressure valve two other companies told me I didn't have (and they charged me a fee to tell me that - without digging for it). Ed found it within about 15-20 min with minimal digging. He replaced it with a high-quality fixture and charged me a very fair fee. He also has spent two entire days at my house replacing 2 attic water heaters that went bad and did a check on my other plumbing (sinks, toilets) and fixed some minor issues without additional fees. He even warned me about an issue he saw in my attic with my a/c unit that needed attention. He is incredibly honest and trustworthy. This is a plumber who you can tell takes pride in his work. You can't go wrong with this company!

This plumber is always prompt and arrives at the job when he says. He sticks to his estimates quite well. He is a good worker who cleans up after himself and is courteous and polite. He does good work.
