Setup mobile appointment for a Friday. No one ever came - and NO call to reschedule. Friday evening -- I call 1-800 number to report missed appointment. NO return Call. Saturday morning - A dispatch person answers -- says they are really "overbooked" and someone will try and get back with me. NO follow-up call. Following Wednesday - someone FINALLY initiates a call to me and wants to reschedule. I mentioned what LOUSY customer service Glass America has and that I just took the initiative to use someone else (didn't want the chip expanding on my glass in this Texas heat). Maybe they have great repair technicians. But I wouldn't know ! If you want to roll the dice and use these people go ahead and give them a call !

Fine, the person came and replaced broken windshield. I thought everything was fine. I inspected from the driver's seat. I noticed the technician got dirt all over the fabric portion surrounding my windshield, but I didn't make a big deal of it. However, about a week or so later I went to dinner with my husband and rode in the passenger seat. I never ride in the passenger seat unless him and I go somewhere together. I noticed my dashboard near the corner of the windshield was cracked. It was NOT cracked before as I had just washed it a couple of weeks prior and cleaned the dashboard. I called Glass America and granted, it had been a few weeks since they replaced the windshield ONLY because I don't have time to deal with this and kids and a small business. They sent an inspector out and he already started saying "in Texas, the sun can crack the dashboard"...so, I figured I knew where this was going. I told him this was not cracked prior to the windshield being installed - plus, it has been cold out during this timeframe. He took pictures then asked me which technician had been out to install the windshield - I couldn't remember the guy's name. He asked "was he Mexican? White?" - I told him it was a red headed guy and he nodded with an expression that showed he wasn't surprised. He said someone would be calling and telling me next steps - that they may send me directly to a repair shop to fix this. Then, about an hour later I get a call saying they aren't responsible because it is due to sun damage?? Basically, they are not going to pay for THEIR damage. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! There are plenty of other companies out there that can replace a windshield for $180...they will not stand behind their work. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!
