Jim and crew did a phenomenal job with our yard. The job was forecast to be a day and a half, but the crew finished in a single day. They were able to accommodate a last minute addition of plants and special requests during the job without a hitch. The work quality was excellent, the crew was accommodating, and we couldn't be more pleased with the work - thanks Jim!

A few glitches with the pond losing water, but Jim did not hesitate at all to take care of the problem.

The exceptional work done by Down to Earth Landscaping was accomplished over two separate projects. Both projects were remarkable from the beginning. Jim met with me and actually listened (other contractors had a very bad habit of "talking over" me, which accomplished nothing). He is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of hardscape/landscape and easily guided me with excellent suggestions when I didn't know what I wanted. Each member of the team was always professional, thorough, and detail-oriented (even more particular than me). I am absolutely thrilled with the work done. My next outdoor project is just a couple months away--Jim will be the only one that I call to do the job. No other company can match Jim and the crew with Down to Earth Landscaping!

The work went well, the crew was on time and professional. Cleaned up and removed debris.

He suggested to use playground mulch and build a fence to close off. Our dog can run around freely while we are at work. The day after the installation, we had very heavy rain. the mulch stayed within the fenced area - just like Jim told us. He knows his job and his crew are very professional and caring. Looks very nice, too. We decided to work with him to xeriscape our new home after this job.

I explained to Jim what we wanted done and he gave me a list of the plants he suggested, a detailed list of the services, and the final price. He said that if I wanted different plants to let him know but all were good choices for our xeriscaped yard. Jim and his men showed up on time and finished everything in about 1-1/2 days. They were polite and hardworking. I asked them to do a couple of extra things with planters that are difficult for me to do by myself and they graciously helped me out. They cleaned up everything and we are absolutely delighted with our yard. I recommend them highly.

Called and asked for some debris removed from the back yard from a project I did back there. Came out the next day for a quote, and had it removed the day after. Price was very reasonable. They did a great job of cleaning up the area.

The crew came in and worked for a full day and even reset some boards on a trellis I have. They were neat, polite and industrious.

This is the 2nd time we've called James for this sort of work, we had him do a similar cleanup last winter and were pleased with the results so we called again. He and his team showed up as scheduled and worked hard to complete a big job in a day. We'll likely be calling him again for our winter cleanup, if not before.

He had been "screwed over" by another contractor who left a big, muddy mess in our backyard. Down to Earth Landscaping was very apologetic and vowed to make it right. They did that and then some. I'm very pleased and happy with the result. I would hire them again and will refer them to family and friends.

my neighbor had multiple workers, thus I called. my turn one person came and worked all day. Company used someone that does not work directly for him but rather works as a subcontractor

Overall Jim and his crew did a great job. Jim was always available to answer my calls, provided my wife and I with good options for mulch and crushed granite, and was easy to work with. Final result was FABULOUS!!! Jim and his crew were amazing! Jim was very responsive...he called me back within a day of me leaving a message when I first called for a quote. From that point on, every time I texted him with a question, he would text me right back. He and his crew were punctual and very professional and courteous. Our front yard was very unattractive...it is a new construction house so the builder just threw some plain plants into the flower bed. We had no curb appeal! I told Jim what I liked and he came up with a beautiful plan and it exceeded what I had envisioned in my mind! Thank you so much Jim for making our yard look amazing!!!! I keep going outside and looking at it with a huge smile on my face!!!!

Very well. Initial start date had inadvertently been scheduled on a holiday, so several of the workers called in. The contractor called me promptly and we made it for the following day. They showed up bright and early to start the project and worked diligently thru completion. Workers ere professional and polite.

We are extremely pleased with the results.
