+ -1 moreHad a short in the wall that could have caused a fire, which the owner of this business admitted was his fault. The breaker didn't disengage, he looked and commented the breaker was the right size and that was it. No concern for future events or our safety. That was just one example.

+ 0 moreNot at all happy with the service we received from this company. If you use them, do not authorize final payment until all work is completed satisfactorily. If your structure includes doors, do not accept the low-quality doors they include as part of the project
Description of Work: Let me divide this review into two sections: Structure & Doors Structure - We had Straightline Siding install a 20x10 screened in area at the end of the house for a mud room. I cannot give them enough stars for quality. They were dealing with multiple angles on an old driveway and had to tie it into the gable. Excellent work - cannot be more pleased. Doors - On a five star scale, I cannot give them more than one star. When I install a door, I want the door to touch the blind-stop gently, and I do not want to adjust the hydraulic closer to where the door slams just to latch. We have three doors in the structure. When the first installers left, two were definitely lacking, and the third was close to perfect. Weeks later, after more calls to the business, another individual came out. When he left, the first two doors were worse, and the third door had been “fixed” to where there was no way it would close. After more calls, another individual came out and reported there was nothing wrong with the doors. None of the three doors would close properly, and each one stood out from the blind stop from ½ to ¾ in. I documented the problem with pictures. More phone calls. Two more individuals came out, and one of them said that the doors were not installed properly and that he would come out with another individual and fix them. Two more weeks and more phone calls. Finally, the individual came back. Three months after the initial installation, the doors are better, but one has to be adjusted to slam for it to latch. I have given up on the company completing the job properly. I learned two things on this project: 1. Never authorize final payment until the job is completed satisfactorily 2. If a component looks too cheap, do not accept it. I would have gladly paid for a higher quality door. I will consider them again if I have a doorless structure. If doors are involved, they will not be considered.

Three weeks later I called him and he says "Oh, didn't I call you back?". Then he gives me an estimate that was almost double what someone had given me. When I told him that he said he would get with his people and call me back. Never heard from him again.
