The project started on time and Mr. Musslewhite was present for the initial excavation, some of the plumbing, the gunite installation, and the initial pouring of deck. From and after that time, Mr. Musslewhite spent nominal amounts of time on the jobsite having chosen to leave his sub-contractors to work without his supervision. Mr. Musslewhite had promised to provide daily progress reports on the project, however, after the first month the reports were only provided after they were requested by telephone, text, or E-Mail and they were cryptic at best. Once the deck was in we spent the next ten weeks trying to get what we were paying for. The same areas of the deck were set, removed, and re-set as many as three times in some places. Sometimes the repair/replacement work was done by different sub-contractors than the ones that had done the initial work and when their work was judged unacceptable the original sub-contractors returned to the job site. The provider was supplied written lists of defects as well as photographs of the defects on multiple occasions and I found myself having to make daily drives of 130 miles (roundtrip) to make sure there were actually sub-contractors on the jobsite. Provider was shown several places where the plaster had not adequately covered the gunite; those flaws were never repaired. We were lead to believe that the pool would be re-plastered but that never happened. Instead, the provider had someone and quot;patchand quot; one of the flawed areas. We were very disappointed by the providers continual failure to keep us informed, his inexplicable delays and the ultimate amount of time it took to get into the water. Failed promises, poor work product (due at least in part to his failure to supervise the sub-contractors), and frustration due to lack of communication made this project miserable for me and my family. We started out thinking we were working with a well established pool builder with a large, complete staff and a yard full of equipment. What we got was one man with a cell phone and a group of sub-contractors. Sadly, we spent too much money and time because we chose Preferred Pools of Tyler, Mr. Lanny Musslewhite, to build our pool.

The service was excellent. They gave the pool a very custom look. They designed and built the pool.
