The movers were on time and with great attitudes! They’ve moved me 3 times in the last 15 years and have always had outstanding service.

Thieves. They move your stuff and then come back to rob you. Beware. The police will corroborate that this company is not to be trusted. Thank goodness for hidden cameras.

The three individuals showed up with the two trucks as planned. Within the first 30 minutes, the police showed up at my house looking for one of the men, and he had to leave with them to resolve an issue. I then had two individuals that continued loading up the trucks. Obviously this change increased the number of hours it took to load my contents. When the trucks were loaded, the 3rd man showed up again and we drove over to my new home.
At the new home when unloading they took my beds up and over the banister on the upper level. When they did the first one, I saw them leverage it against the banister can loosen it. I called their attention to it and they shook the banister, it was visibily loose and said "it should have that leway, it's fine". I repeated that it was not that way, and no it wasn't fine.
When the work was completed, they gave me the rate. Again I brought up the issue with the banister. They said I would have to work with the owner on that. I also brought up the number of hours it took, since I was down one person. They didn't make any adjustments to the price based on that and told me I could talk to the owner on that  too.
I contacted the owner the following week. He said he'd send someone out to look at the banister. The person he sent said he had not experience with banisters and didn't want to attempt to fix it. He said he'd report that back to the owner.
It has been six months and after repeated calls to the owner, my issue is still unresolved and I have never been reimbursed for being down one person on the job.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!! I cannot say that strong enough. Due to the death of my husband, I had to sell my home and move to Florida to stay with my children. First, they showed up 1 hour late. I was told 4 men would be sent and there were only 3. I was also told they would bring the shrink wrap for no extra charge. They did not have it and had to go get it. Out of the 3 men, only one might have been qualified to do this kind of work. While loading the trailer, one whole stack of boxes toppled over. There were liquids and glass amongst the boxes. They only showed me the two boxes where liquid broke as they had to remove and clean it up. The rest of the damaged boxes were loaded back up and nothing was said. At my destination, part of my belongings went into a home and the majority has gone to storage. While unpacking what was to be put in the home, there were 3 boxes of broken glass such as wine glasses and collectibles. There were also 2 boxes of can goods that were all dented. This was all due to the stack of boxes falling over and they hid all the damage from me. They also damaged a lane cedar chest by putting it on its side and pushing up to the back of the refrigerator. Neither of which they covered. There is damage to both items. The cedar chest has to be refinished. There isn't much I can do to the refrigerator. I am sure there is damage to items in storage as well but I can not get to those right now.

They also neglected to get all my belongings into one 28 foot trailer so I had to order another one which cost even more for my move.

I have tried contacting and working with Carlos, the owner. It took at least 3 tries to get in touch with him. At first he was listening and seemed to be willing to do the right thing and cover the cost to replace and repair everything. The damages come to well over $600 but I was willing to work with him for a lower price. Which was also a mistake. After a couple of heated conversations, we agreed on a price and Carlos promised to get a check in the mail to me by July 18, 2014. As of August 4, 2014, I still do not have a check. I spoke with Carlos again and he promised to get a check int the mail by the end of day August 4, 2014.

I have to say, I did receive my check in the mail on 8/9/14. At least he followed through on that. I still would not recommend them to anyone.

"Anytime a potential customer calls me and ask for a next day move shes ABSOLUTELLY correct that it was iffy because I have 6 crews with 4 men on each truck and I have customers that schedule 6 weeks in advance to hold that spot.I cant guarantee a (struggler)last minute caller a specific time on a next day move.So Sorry if I Cater to my customers that actually plan there move and for those who gets the eviction notice and have to move the next day im glad to know that there was some part time mover who could make it happen!"

Arrived on time and efficiently moved all contents of home to new home just down the road.  Also moved some very heavy pieces that were in the new home to the location asked.  They were great!

The red flag was when they showed up late with out packing materials and boxes. Originally they were suppose to pack, box, and plastic rap all of our belongings and pack into a moving Pod. I had talked with Me "T" several times and he ashured me that his movers would pack everything and would have all the needed materials. His movers claimed that they did not recieve those instructions therefore was the reason they showed up without packing material. They asked me to go to the store and buy the materials they would need. Which I did. When I brought back the packing materials they just stood around and just listened to music and was talking. My wife and I was fed up at this point and asked then to just load the heavy stuff like couch and the washer and dryer in the POD. When they finished with the heavy stuff I sent them away but the still charged $315 dollars and also wanted to cheat he me for the packing supplies which I had bought. My wife and I ended up packing all of our belongings by ourselves and loading the POD. I will never use Mr T's moving company again. I will spend a little extra and higher professionals.

"First of all as the owner I DONT WANT to start by making any excuses and when a customer is allready Mad when we show up there is Nothing that we can do to make them happy. There had to be some type of miscommunication between me and the Customer about packing so thats why we asked the customer to please purchase some materials so we could RESUME!Im sure that in the event that since we was late that something had happened and if so we had called and not just showed up late.As a result we do aim to please all customers and if a customer felt as if they was treated unfair for what service they received I WOULD be more than glad to adjust their bill. That being said Im not God and all things are possible and since there was a Red flag in the Beginning there was a Red flag @ the end! When a customer call numerous companies and get Quotes they also forget what was said to whom they talked to allthough this couldnt have been the situation but as i stated earlier once your mad @ the beginning there is nothing we can do @ the end to make you happy especially if I DONT know!"

The men were running just a touch behind, but they did call and let me know they were close. I appreciated that very much. They were fast workers and I was impressed by that as well. But upon unloading, perhaps the speed was not the best.
I was moving to a new location, but also had things that were going into storage for a time. I was very specific that I wanted the items for my new place to be closest to the truck door, because they needed to be unloaded first. This did not happen, and therefore made the unloading at the new location more complicated and cost me more money in fuel. Though that did not bother me as much as the damage to several of my items due to poor handling.
I have moved many times, and as far as furniture damage, this was the worst. The leg on one of my antique dressers was broken into several bits. A bookshelf had a chunk that broke off. My SS kitchen trashcan was smashed. The front of my fridge was dented and scratched severely. I packed my boxes, so any damage to box contents is my own fault, so I will not comment there. However they did tilt a lot of the boxes, and place them in very precarious places, rather than keep them upright and stable, which is concerning. I have not yet unpacked all of my boxes, to know if that caused damage or not, but it did make me nervous. (I will say that we had a lot of space available in the trucks, so it was not needed to cram things in.)
It seems to me that the furniture damage was very poor handling on the moving team's part and they knew they were handling antiques. I provided a TON of furniture pads and asked them to use them generously, but they mostly wanted to use the plastic wrap. The plastic wrap does help some,  but if they added a pad under it, that would have prevented more problems.
There is no way I could repair the damage for what I paid to hire these men. I am very sad and disappointed. These men are fast and strong. If you don't have things that are of high value and you want an inexpensive team, this is it, but you get what you pay for.
Response from

"When you say things like you you get what you pay for is so so true! That being said if you wanted things of value to be protected why be CHEAP and RENT A RENTAL truck and not just let a Professional Mover do the job.So @ the end when you have damages your covered.90% of my moves are high end moves and I do have a great reputation !When we load anything on any of my trucks we have everything to secure and protect my Customers belongings! At the same time everything is insured and properly secured, blanked, wrapped, and bolted or tied in to prevent shifting. This is the Luxury of doing a you get what you pay for job! When you rent a Rental truck and not sure what the terrain on the travel is like, your taking a chance do to items shifting because there is no extra equipment thats leased to prevent this. Then when you get to the destination Mr.T is the bad one.As I always say all my teams are GREAT and hard workers and when a customer tries to cut corners always remember the cheap way always is more expensive in the end!"

They came on time and had an excellent attitude!  They seemed to swing things around but never once it a door frame.  Because I was moving every thing into storage, I provided padding for the furniture, which they did NOT use, nor did they use there own. Had plenty for them to cover the boxes so that dust would not be as big of a problem.  They took the refrigerator, but did not remove the doors or even leave the doors open which could result in major mold.  In the process of correcting this problem, I saw that the boxes were stacked sometimes on unstable serfaces.  They attempted to move all the tables with out dismataling them, but I am not sure that was best when it came to maintaining their stability and quality of the furniture.   I am holding breath to see if everything survies without breaking and scractes.  They used there plastic wrap for everything.  I will consider another company when moving in to my home.

"This is a situation where if you ask any of my men to dissassemble the furniture or appliances we will be glad to.Then if you worry about storage issues like mold, dust,or insects that's when a climate controlled unit should have been purchased. Our Goal is customer satisfaction and when you go to say you will have another mover move you in your house that's when all I can say is GoodLuck because it's not by Luck were so Blessed to be so busy!We have a very good Reputation in East Texas that's why we come Highly Recommended!"
