I highly recommend Gary?s Home Repairs. I hired Mr. Gary to paint my front and back doors as well as some minor other tasks. Mr. Gary gave me an estimate and there were no surprises later. He was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. He understood the assignment and he and his worker completed it perfectly. He arrived on time and completed everything in two days. He was also very patient and offered advice on paint color but left the final choice up to me. He worked with my schedule. He also suggested other needed repairs and maintenance. It seemed like he wanted to make sure that I was happy and satisfied. I would definitely hire him again and plan to do in 2025.

Project was not completed and he will not return my messages. Painting spots missed, edges not straight, pretty poor job. UPDATE: Gary, has contacted me and is willing to complete the job correctly.

I never met Gary or his crew until they came to bid on my job. His team was very professional and clear on the work that they would perform. They did exactly what they said they would do and my paint job looks amazing. They even finished a couple of days ahead of schedule. Their price was very competitive considering the size of my job. Will definitely be getting a bid from Gary on my trim work and other unfinished pieces of my build. They were just great people overall to work with!

When Gary first came out to look at our deck, he was very knowledgeable, which really impressed my husband and I. Our deck was a complete lost, but they came out rebuilt our deck and did it very quickly and it looks Wonderful. We are very pleased with their work. Gary goes over and beyond his job to make sure that the customer is satisfied, and we are!!! If you need your deck repaired, you wont be disappointed, please give them a call.

Gary is a reliable contractor that cares about his customers & has integrity. He did what he said he would do ⠦⠦.. was on time & completed the job in a timely manner! He did extra little things during the project but charged only the price quoted . His crew work well together, are respectful & listen to the customer. Everything was cleaned up after the job , & Gary made sure I was pleased with the results. I recommend this company & thank them for a job done well!!

They were very accommodating, clean.and very professional.

Gary gives you one estimate to secure the job. Then he inflates the price and add things as the project progresses. I asked him for an itemized list of cost and things that he is actually doing, which he got upset and said that he couldnâ t produce. He admitted to just â shooting from the hipâ with his prices. He has a number in mind and raises prices and make up things until he is at his satisfied number. Which this number is very inflated. I am in the military stationed 3 hours away so I trusted Gary to be a man of his word. Gave him a key to the house to get all of the agreed things completed. When it was all â completeâ I paid 5k more than the initial estimate. Thatâ s not adding the electric bill with them leaving the a/c on 60 and leaving the lights on all day and over the weekend. This was addressed but not fixed. It got so bad that I asked my uncle to go there after the first week to watch what they were doing so that I would know. It took them 3 weeks to complete a job that should have taken at most 8 days. His crew â workedâ from 7-3 weekdays. The times I did pop up, they were not being as productive and standing around smoking inside of the house. Mind you, we are not smokers. Gary told me that he didnâ t know that he had a timeline. He was appearing to be â creatingâ things to do to drag out the project until he found another project. Confirmed by his lead man. There is more, but I donâ t want this to be a bashing thing. He appears to be a good guy, but he is a fast talker and says and does anything to get your money. Whether he can do it or not. Last thing, about a week after they were done I went to the house to check their work. No one lives in the house I add. I reached out to Gary about addressing the things that were not completed with fidelity and not according to what I paid him. I sent him some of the pictures that concerned me so that he could see. He has yet to return my call/text or anything. I would never support this guy again.

Gary and his crew paid attention to my safety as well as doing their job. They removed old rotting boards, insulation, and placed fresh siding on home. They painted with attention to trim, appearance, and underpinning. Glass in couple of windows was replaced. When they built my widened back porch, I asked for adjustments. They gladly came back and made adjustments. The prices wre reasonable and he discussed costs with me along the way. I will definitely call this team if I need anything done.

There are some issues with the work that was done last month - and now the telephone for Gary's Handyman services is DISCONNECTED!!!! I have no way to contact him so that the work can be adjusted to a satisfactory state.

Gary's Home Repairs painted several exterior trim projects including window trim, garage doors, front door and patio ceiling. They also finished out a boathouse room interior. The crew was neat, pleasant to work with and meticulous in the preparation and painting. Gary's experience and recommendations on color choices were very helpful. The quote was very fair. Gary completed all work as promised and was very flexible to make minor changes as needed for our satisfaction. I would recommend Gary's to others and very pleased with the work done.

On time professional work done quickly

An ice storm on 2/01/23 caused a very large tree to fall on my 12 x 20 storage building. Gary and his crew restored multiple damages to a like new condition. His professional crew started early and worked without stopping except for lunch. I would have no hesitation in giving their work a 10+. I definitely will use them again if or when needed. To top it off, they did the work at a fair price, exactly as quoted and in a timely manner. To say the very least, Gary and his crew were certainly not afraid of hard work! Thanks, guys!
