+ 2 moreI would not recommend him. He’s basically a carpenter and he does some painting. He’s an excellent and a good carpenter. He was very irresponsive worse than I had ever encountered. He did not show up as and when he promised. He didn’t call to say when he wasn’t coming half the time. Sometimes he comes and works, and then he’s gone for a week or two. This work was supposed to finish in three or four weeks but he stretched it to three months. We couldn’t move into this house for several months because the work was not completed. It got really frustrating. He’s a nice guy but he’s one of those contractors who starts several jobs and then does a little bit on each one to try and keep them going, instead of doing things properly and getting done with the work. Their professionalism in terms of management was not good. I would probably not use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Don Wells Remodeling. I last used their services probably in August 2010. He did a whole list of projects. We had him replace an access ladder that goes up into the attic and he had to reframe around the whole thing because it was of a different size than the old ladder. We had him install an extra door into the long laned closet. He built a new closet in the large bedroom. We had him add a little special enclosure on the back of the house for the cat and we call it the cat porch. We had him add some closets and shoe molding at the base of some closets where we took out the carpets. They also did some other handymen sort of jobs around.
