+ 0 moreThe trees were cut down as promised in a timely manner. However, I noticed that some branches of the cut trees had lodged in some of the remaining trees. I called Eric Artmire and told him that perhaps his crew had overlooked these branches. He stated that the branches were in the trees as a result of a storm and not due to his crew's negligence. To date, I have not seen his crew return to investigate the situation. Nor did Eric Artmire ever call me again to discuss the situation further. He seemed to be insulted that I even would call him about this problem. Finally, another contractor suggested his company to do landscaping around the now complete pool. I told the other contractor that I felt Eric Artmire probably wouldn't want to work for me again. But, also I am reluctant to re-engage him considering the above unresolved problem.
Description of Work: Artmire's Urban Forestry cut down some trees in a vacant lot adjacent to my property. I built a pool and wanted to avoid as much debris as possible from falling into it.

+ 0 moreEric is the best in Tyler as far as knowledge of trees and other botanicals. He is very busy so he has to be reminded of your job. That drives me nuts as a former business owner,. However, he is the best in this area and I put up with that. He also charges more for his services than other tree service companys but you get the quality and the knowledge by using Artmire

+ -1 moreOverall, Artmire Tree Service was a pleasure to work with. They came in and spent two days cutting trees, and left without damaging anything.
Description of Work: Cut several dead trees in and around our house, some very close to the house. Mr. Artmire and the crew were very professional, did not have to worry if they were going to drop a tree on the house. They shredded all the limbs and/or carried away all debris. I would and have recommended Artmire Tree Service to many people. Again, on Christmas Eve!!!! Mr. Artmire came to our house to remove a limb which had fallen through our roof over our bed during the rainy night. It was very stormy, we were lucky the whole tree didn't hit the house. He came out on his way to go deer hunting with his children. The kiddos stayed in the truck while Mr. Artmire came and removed the limb, helped my husband cover the hole in the roof so it would not leak anymore and recommended a company to come repair the roof. He was pleasant and helpful the whole time, not complaining once and did not overcharge for coming out on Christmas Eve.

+ -1 moreI called and Eric went to my house and looked at the trees while I was at work. It was apparent that Eric had the best interest of my trees which, as a homeowner, I appreciated. There was no upselling or pressure to do anything outside of what he thought would be best for the trees. All in all I was pleased.
Description of Work: I had 3 very large Oak(2 Red, 1 Live) Trees appraised for tree trimming. Eric advised against a large trimming that would stress the already declining trees. He removed the dead and declining limbs and then did a heavy fertilization.

Description of Work: No services performed. I Spoke with this contractor on the telephone twice. Both times he sounded somewhat busy and acted as if he took down my information. Both times he said he would call me the next morning. He never did. Not only did he cost himself a HUGE tree job but he earned this review.
