It went well. Prompt service and they were done quickly.

I asked the provider to plumb the replacement water heaters exactly like the old ones so they would work the same way. The result was not satisfactory. The water takes a very long time to get hot and when someone in the house flushes, you feel it! They also did not replace 10 year old pans.

The entire process went well. I talked with a service employee of American Plumbing on the morning of 5/5/15, and they installed my new water heater that afternoon, as promised. They supplied the water heater a 50 gallon Rheem that uses natural gas, with new fittings, etc. The service men were prompt and polite....and very helpful. The whole process met and exceeded my expectations. The new water heater works great!

After buying a new dishwasher from Home Depot and arranging for them to deliver and install it, the saying "Houston we have a problem" comes into play. When the guys came out to deliver and install, they advised that they were not able to install the dishwasher because we had "sweated fittings" and they were not plumbers. So now going to have to fight with Home Depot to get reimbursed for the installation fee. After looking on Angie's List, found American Plumbing with excellent reviews. Called them and spoke to Danny who said they could come out the next day and install the dishwasher. They were very prompt coming out, the price was reasonable. They were quick, friendly, and were able to install the dishwasher with no problems. Would definitely use them again and recommend them!!!

Workers were very professional, not only how they acted but how they looked and dressed. The guys had to come back twice to do minor adjustments (no fault of theirs) and were extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Troy was outstanding. He was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He quickly identified the issue and was able to get it fixed right then. He was observant of keeping the mess from cutting in to the wall contained and cleaned up when he was through. He was on time and communicated with us on when to expect him. He gave us a military discount after noticing my uniform hanging in the closet. I didn't know they offered one, and he didn't have to give me one. Very courteous. I will be sure to utilize American Plumbing Co. in the future.

We like them. We have used them for a lot of things. I like their service, and I like the people who get about the office. We call, and we go to church with the guy who runs the office. He and his wife run the office. We think they are trust worthy. I would tell other people to use them. They have done good service. We used someone else and they told us that we would have to reroute some plumbing, and then we used this company, and they said we didn't have to.

Note above. I thought the price was a bit too high for the services rendered but the jobs were done correctly and efficiently.

What impressed me was how they stood behind their guarantee. The servicemen repaired a leak, I paid them and they left. The next morning I discovered that water was still coming up into the yard. I called and they came back out, found an additional leak requiring additional time and parts. There were no additional charges. Because of other experiences with plumbers, I was impressed. They did what they said they would do. Kind of sad when this is a rare occurrence these days.

Water started pouring out of the commodes and filing up the bathtub on the first floor of our home late on a Monday night. We turned the water off and called American Plumbing. They made an appointment for the next day. They arrived right on time and used an auger to unblock the pipes from the home to the city septic line. The gentleman who came out was friendly and professional. I highly recommend American Plumbing. We will be using them again!

Very professional. I didn't get off work that day until 3, company was accommodating to my schedule. Work was quick and professional.

After a self-installation of a new sink cabinet in our home's guest bathroom, I realized the plumbing required to finish the job was outside my comfort zone. Late on a Tuesday afternoon (3-3:30 pm), less than 24-hours prior to arrival of guests, I called American Plumbing. To my surprise, they sent a team out that afternoon (within 30-minutes of my call), and charged me the usual hourly rate (despite the late afternoon call). The master plumber and his assistant were courteous, professional, efficient, and worked neatly. I was most impressed by the thoroughness of their work. I've never seen perfectionist plumbers, but these two were: they continued to make minor adjustments to the faucet handles, drain stop, etc., until they were "just right" (and had me check these areas just to ensure they were working to my satisfaction). This could be misconstrued as a "delay of game" on their part, as they are paid by the hour, but the "perfection-checks" did not take that much time, and in my opinion were appropriate. I cannot emphasize enough the quality of American Plumbing and give them my highest recommendation.

They do excellent work every time and I've used them for many many years. They are professional and always on time. They are courteous and cover their shoes whenever they enter the house. I've never had problems with the work they've done.

I was told by my water company that I must have a leak since my water usage went way up. I called American plumbing Co. They sent Ryan and Ricardo. I have 37 acres with water service to house and barn. I didn't have any idea the route the pipes took from the meter at road. Ryan walked the most direct route and found the tee to barn and shut off valves, from there we narrowed search to barn. We then walked the pasture looking for any greener areas and Ryan found a wet area. Once we found the leak, the work was quick and repair complete within an hours time. Great Job!!!

I asked a lot of questions and he patiently answered them. He cleaned up after himself and it looked as though he had not been here. I was very pleased with his all-around service.

They do what they say they are going to when they say they are going to do it. They are courteous and friendly and also clean up after themselves.

I started using American Plumbing about 2 years ago.They installed gas lines for my new hot water heater and gas fire logs originally. I have called them for several plumbing issues that happened; all work was done to my great satisfaction. I have previously hired and fired about eight other companies due to shoddy work and ethics. I have been absolutely thrilled with all the work done. I ask for Daniel as the plumber assigned to me every time because he takes pride in doing the job right the first time. The owner is a well-respected plumber in his own right and runs a tight ship. He doesn't settle for his workers doing any job without giving it their best. I have the utmost respect and confidence in this company that has been greatly lacking in the previous plumbers I've used the past 12 years. I highly recommend them, and Daniel specifically, to everyone who needs plumbing or gas line work done.

The old water heater started leaking and I called another company (named in another report), they never showed so I called American and they gave me a time and were there when they said they would be. They removed and replaced the old wtr htr in a professional and timely matter. They had to make a few modifications to the old plumbing and all went smoothly.

They did a wonderful job! I have used this company twice. The first time was an after-hours emergency. They responded within 30 to the emergency pager and were at my house within the hour. The second time, I had a broken pipe under the slab. On both occasions, they were very efficient, completing the task in a timely manner while still being thorough. They were sure to clean up after themselves. Other than the new cement patch in my floor, I could not tell that they had been in my house. The guys were professional, yet friendly. They didn't make me feel like I was "just another customer". When I let them know that I was worried about being able to afford it, they offered to set up a payment plan. I had a wonderful experience with this company and would recommend them to anyone!

They did a really great job. They came out and drained the water heater. They came out here when they realized that my water heater was leaking. They just came out to cut it off. This was before they gave me any estimate and knew that they would be doing the work. I called several others to get an estimate and these people were lesser than the last quote I got. Their quality of work was definitely good. They changed the piping. They even went up on the roof to put a pan making sure that the pipe which went from the water heater outside is fixed because it really wasn't functioning very well. Their responsive was very good because I called them, went to the store to buy a vacuum that sucks up water and they had come by then, it was like a matter of an hour. Overall they were really great.

They were pretty good and very thorough about what they were doing. If they would find a leak they would go back and check to make sure that it was fixed properly.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. We discovered a water leak under the house on a Friday afternoon. We called the emergency number Friday night, twice on Saturday, and again twice on Sunday. We never received a call or any type of response. They finally showed up at the house on Monday and told us the pressure relief valve on the water heater needed replacing. They did not have the proper pressure relief valve, so they left and came back on Tuesday to install the correct valve. We were charged a service call even though they did not have the correct valve. They came back on Tuesday and charged us again; this time for two people to come out....TO REPLACE A VALVE ON A WATER HEATER. So, on Tuesday, the company replaced the relief valve. They worked on the water heater Monday and Tuesday. On Saturday, we discovered that the water heater was leaking, so we called the company back out. They returned on Monday and told us the water heater was broken and needed to be replaced. They would ba happy to replace the water heater for $690. I spoke with the technician and the office personnel. I was a little concerned that if they worked on the water heater two days in a row, then 4 days later it needed to be replaced, something just wasn't right. Either they contributed to the need for replacement, or the water heater needed replacement to begin with. I asked if there was some way to adjust their $690 replacement bid due to the circumstances. They rejected any discussion about negotiating their price stating it was complete coincidence that the water heater needed replacement. I am convinced they are not very honest and were simply taking advantage of the occupant of the home, who is on a fixed income and barely survives each month on that income.....they knew this situation and would still not regotiate their price. So, we purchased an exact duplicate water heater at Lowe's for $248 plus a pan and heat trap. We found a licensed contractor to deliver and install the water heater. We spent a grand total of $450. American Plumbing is not a very reputable company in my opinion and I would not recommed anyone use this company for any plumbing needs.
