They charged my senior parents for work that was not done. We called them because we were having a breaker issue. They came out to fix the problem. My parents had to call them 15 minutes after they left because the lights started doing the same thing before Wired fixed the problem. They charged my parents another trip charge and still didn't fix the problem.

The electrician arrived promptly, was respectful of our no-shoes-in-the-home policy, and worked quickly. He explained the steps as he worked, which I appreciated. The job was a tough one, considering the age of our house and the messy wiring previously installed, but he was able to do it. He also did a check of the main electrical box and checked all the switches around the house. When he was done, he cleaned up all the debris. Highly recommend.

Professional and timely service. This was the only company I could find that could work with an extra high ceiling in a narrow space. Very pleased with the service. They even helped me take down an old satellite dish outside. They really went the extra mile for us. The electrician Justin was very professional and efficient. Thank you!

Diagnosed the sparking sound in my junction box as a bad breaker. Since the breakers were no longer manufactured, they sold me a used one for $65. I thought this was outrageous since you can buy these on ebay for about 20 bucks. He was not as professional and friendly as the first guy that came out last time. Felt I was overcharged but they got the job done. Gave a lower rating mainly because of the price

Came the same day I called. Called before he arrived. Didn't waste any time. Took old front light fixtures down while I went to Home Depot to buy new ones. Office staff was very polite, actually answered the phone and set up to come the same afternoon. Thomas was the electrician, very polite and efficient. Finished in less than two hours.

After exhausting my efforts to identify the problem with two existing outdoor outlets that were not working, I had these guys to come out to assist. Within the first five minutes of his being at my home, I (not him) discovered another GFI that I had overlooked was tucked away in my garage and I simply reset it and those two outlets began to work. Meanwhile I asked had the electrician to replace a corroded Outlet box that was outside alongside the house. Additionally he added two GFI receptacles to that box. This was done quite nicely and within 30 mins. Additionally I had him to an outlet indoors this portion alone took just over an hour as there was some slight difficulty gaining access. It was successfully done and works nicely. I did get the sense that he stretched the visit out a little longer than necessary checking all outlets. They do charge by the hour. Finally, when he gave me the bill I felt that it was a little bit fluffed @ $550.

The same guy came out both times and he was great. I decided to try to change out some wall plugs myself and discovered that I couldn't do it. I had already turned off the electricity to the house and had exposed the wires so it was kind of urgent that I get someone out to fix what I had started. It was a Sunday and they came right out. He had the wall plug changed out in about a minute and then did 4-5 more for me. Another time I had a pipe break in the attic. The water came down through air vent and the ceiling in the kitchen. I was worried that the water might have damaged the electric and I didn;t want to have a fire. WES came out (same guy) quicklyand checked everything including the breakerbox. They charge by the hour rather than the job and I like that. This particular technician was fast and efficient and extremely nice. I will however agree with others that the owner is a little rude.

I have used Wired Electrical Services (Wired) several times in the past few years with good results. Historically the technicians professional, polite and punctual and I never had an issue with their workmanship. It was a local, family owned business. In July of this year the company did some work for me and it is obvious the company has been sold and/or is under new management because the work product and services were deplorable. I would not recommend this company to replace a light bulb. In July of this year I called them and asked them to install an exterior security light at my townhouse and replace some dimmer switches that were hot to the touch in my dining area. The estimator (Ryan) came to my house to give me a quote. I specifically instructed him to install the exterior security light on the corner of my building approximately 10’ above the ground. The power source for the light was on the side of the building. They were going to have to run electrical conduit on the exterior of the wall for the wiring. I instructed him to run the conduit up the wall on the side of the house so it would not be visible from the front of the property. When he sent me the estimate it was almost $1,000 which seemed very high since I was supplying the light and the conduit. I called him and instructed him to strike the replacement of the dimmer switches from the bid. A couple of days later the technician came to do the job while I was at work. When I came home I was surprised to see the conduit had been run up the front of my property and was an eyesore. Furthermore, they replaced the dimmer switches after I told them not to. I called the office manager at Wired to complain and he told me he would send a technician out to move the conduit. I did not bring up the dimmer switch issue but, for the record, Wired installed the original dimmer switches approximately 3 years ago and thereplacement should have been warrantied. After the technician moved the conduit the office manager called and told me the bill to move the conduit was $370. I was appalled they were trying to charge me to correct their error. I called Ryan (the estimator) and he agreed that I had specifically requested that the conduit be run on the side of the house, out of sight. When I called the office manager back he refused to take my calls. About 2 days after the technician moved the conduit I was inspecting the job and noted that the technician had run the conduit against the hinge for the gate on the side of my house and now my gate does not open. At this point I decided to dispute the debit card charges for the work thru my bank. In response, Wired filed a “theft of services”’ report with the HPD in order to coerce payment. At this point I decided to pay and just chalk the whole experience up to a learning experience. I have a and frac12; acre lot and am in the process of designing a large custom house. Before this incident I was going to have Wired bid on the job but that will not be happening now. I would strongly recommend against using this Company.

Luke arrived on time and I explained the work I needed done for two outlets that I needed for a new flat-screen TV and components that are being relocated to a closet. He understood the work and got to it. I two short hours, he had the outlets installed and was very clean and professional. He even asked for a vacuum cleaner to vacuum up the carpet. I've referred Wired Electrical Services to someone else for network cable installation. I would use them again.

They were supposed to come on Friday between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. At 5:05 pm, I called and was told they were running late. The man on the phone asked if they could come on Sunday at 9:00 am. I was hesitant because of the time but he lowered the price from $245 to $175. I immediately said, and quot;Yesand quot;. He changed the oil and spark plugs, changed the weekly run time at my request, answered several questions and showed me how to pour in new oil and when, if the generator had to run for an extended length of time. I was pleased with the price and the work done. The service man was polite and on time.

Nick did an awesome job! I had another electrician (company name begins w/ and quot;Misterand quot;) out yesterday for an estimate, and they attempted to price gauge me for $2,000! That wasn't the case with Wired. They quoted me their (VERY reasonable) hourly rate when I called to schedule an appointment. Nick arrived right on time and worked quickly in the 95 degree heat. If we didn't have errands to run today, we would have given him the list of the other items that we need fixed/updated. I would definitely recommend Wired to anyone in need of an electrician. I plan to call them back out soon for the rest of our list.

I can't tell what is going on behind the walls, but the lights come on, the switches power appliances, and they put a new box in. The walls are stucco so it was hard work and they did a good job in terms of nothing seems to have blown up. They are also reasonably polite when they do respond. However, a lot of the wiring is just wrong. -- They left three lights on permanently (one in the closet and two in the garden). They are literally not connected to any switch anymore and are permanently on. -- The guestroom outlets only power on when the lights are on (so forget about reading lamps) -- They left some outlets in the closet uncovered (this was not a big deal, but typical of inattention to detail) -- They did not respond to requests to fix the issues -- They did not cover or protect the flaws when ripping out the walls. when asked why they said and quot;thought you were going to redo the floor anyway.and quot; These are original wood floor from before the second world war! I think we had he B-team.

I hired this company to install a whole house generator after getting quotes from several other companies. Chose these guys because of price, product, and service. One company was charging more for an old model of generator. This company came in a little lower for a current generation generator. Also, one company said I would have to have the gas company install a pressure regulator to supply the proper amount of gas to the generator. This company said that is generally not required as the standard pressure supplied to the homes was within spec of the generator's requirement. My price was also based on a and quot;cash discountand quot; offer. First, a concrete foundation was put in to hold the weight of the generator and elevate it. Then the generator was installed a couple of days later. Everything went well until the installed asked for the money in green backs. I've always understood the a and quot;cash discount' was considered and quot;fast paymentand quot;, normally via check. He insisted I had to pay $9900.00 in cash to him. Had to get on the phone with someone at the office and had a lengthy conversation about the accepted definition of and quot;cash discountand quot; and them seriously expecting me to hand of nearly $10,000 in cash to the installer. They finally consented to accepting a check. The generator has been running flawlessly for over 2 1/2 years. However, one circuit always trips when the generator takes over during a power outage. I didn't discover this until about six months after the install when we actually had an eight hour power outage. I haven't had them out to look at it yet but assume I will likely be charged for the repair since it has been so long since the install. However, I think they should have done a full test at the time of installation that would've caught the issue up front. Now every time the generator turns on I have to make a trip to the circuit breaker. Another plus is they took care of the generator registration and activation with Generac so I didn't have to deal with that myself.

He worked really fast and he did everything all in one day. He answered any questions that I had. I was asking him if I could do different things and he was being imaginative of what I could do. I was impressed with the 24 hour service that they offer. He was very polite and he cleaned up after himself. He quoted me other prices for possible other work which I will probably have done in the future.
Description of Work: I had a long list of things for him to do. He installed a new light fixture in the attic and closet. Installed a new light where we had a ceiling fan at. There were a couple of circuits that were overloading so he ran some new wiring from one end of the house to other end. He checked some light sockets that weren't working and figured out why they weren't. He also replaced 3 light fixtures outside of my house. I also have little landscaping lights that go across the front part of the flower bed that weren't working; he figured out what was wrong with them and they worked.
