We're pleased with our service from Water Wise Irrigation. We purchased a home and were having issues with our sprinkler system - stuck and leaky heads, a faulty controller and the lack of a Rain/Freeze Sensor. Moving to this are from the draught ridden north west part of the state, it's disturbing to see how many homes and businesses water in the pouring rain while reservoir lakes to our north are at historically low levels. We called WaterWise based upon Angie's List reviews. The person we spoke with by phone was polite and informative so we scheduled the appointment. They called with a reminder. Their technician called to let us know his estimated time of arrival per our request, which gave us time to walk dogs and secure them. He clearly identified himself and proceeded to do the work requested. We had him inspect the system, replace the control panel and install a Rain/Freeze Sensor. He adjusted everything and then ran through a quick tutorial on our new system. He also listed our zones for future reference. I was very pleased with the work and the installer's communication throughout. We appreciate no longer seeing water running down the street or our system over watering in the rain. It's nice that it turns on and, more importantly, turns off by itself. Their technician went above and beyond when he spotted a neighbor's dog running loose and was concerned enough to make sure it was OK prior to leaving. Now that's service! I would recommend them and will use them again.

Waterwise Irrigation's crew arrived on time and were very professional. After everything was done, Andy came back out to meet with me and explain how to operate the system. He double checked all the work and prepared the system for the winter months. I'm very pleased with the work they did. If the sysem will need maintenance or repairs in the future, I look forward to working with them.

Andy did a great job of discussing what needed to be done and scheduling the work. He replaced my current valves and redid the piping to make it easier for me to turn them off and less likely to leak. He installed a backflow preventer that my original installer did not put in. Afterwards, he checked and adjusted the system and discussed how to use the BF preventer. I'm happy with the experience and will definitely use and recommend them in the future.

The rain delayed our start day by about one week. We had been informed by the company that this would be a factor, they started the job with the ground very wet. They completed job one day but they left our backyard uneven added to the additional rain, made it a mess. They made some errors on several of the heads sizes and placement. They were not good on returning calls for our first walk through and after the unfixed heads.

The technician came out at the time agreed and was friendly. He looked through the entire system and made numerous adjustments. However, the main issue that I called about was not repaired on this first visit. It was primarily due to a mis-communication. Although I gave a very detailed explanation of the problem when I called to request the repairs, my wife explained differently when the technician arrived. So there was some fault on both sides, but the water leak continued (note that I shut-off the water before the technician arrived, so that may be why he didn't notice the leak). When I emailed to voice my concern about this, Ed Vitulli responded very promptly on a Saturday. The technician came out first thing on Monday and fixed the original problem - free of charge! I was very impressed with the response to my service complaint. Waterwise really validated all of the great reviews on Angie's List and underscored that this was just a mis-communication more than anything. But instead of trying to argue the details and put the blame on us, they were apologetic and very committed to fixing the issue as soon as possible. Thanks and great job!

First meeting awesome !!!!! Verbal estimate. Was supposed to send one via email. Never happened :-( They did have a service person come out and fix my irrigation ... Some heads needed changing and coverage tweaked That went very well.

I got four different proposals for the drainage problem in my backyard. Michael Vitulli's proposal was the only one that included regrading & sodding & moved the drainage problem away from the back of the house. His proposal also itemized the costs for the various parts of the work to be completed instead of just giving me one lump sum. The installation went quickly. Michael arrived mid-morning to check the crew's work & give them further instructions. He had me come outside while he explained the work that was done, what still needed to be completed, & elevation levels. For me it was a worry-free installation. The crew obviously knew what they were doing & worked well together. I was very impressed with Michael, a licensed irrigator & the owner's son. He communicated well what needed to be done & was very professional. He called later in the month as well to see if the installation was working, & if I was happy with it. Unfortunately it has not rained as hard as it rained when all my drainage problems began to surface, but I'm hopeful that what was done by Waterwise will take care of the problem. Because the company did such a great job, I called them the next month to completely sod the rest of the backyard. I was concerned at one point during the sodding because when I looked out the back window I saw a sea of both yellow & dead-looking grass. I called Waterwise & complained about this to Alicia & was relieved later when I saw the yellow & dead grass being removed & put back on the truck. In fact Francisco asked me which grass I wanted removed! The second batch of grass looked much better & was installed quickly! I really do appreciate the extra work done by Michael & Francisco & his crew to satisfy my concerns. I highly recommend Waterwise!

Probably the worst experience that I have ever had with a repair service!!!. When I called them for service it was two weeks before they could schedule a technician to come to my home for the repairs. When he arrived his electrical equipment was not charged so he had to ask me if he could charge his equipment at my home. Then he said he forgot his heavy duty electrical cord for recharging his equipment. He saw my electrical cord and asked to use it while recharging his equipment. He quickly determined that the problem was an electrical problem in my controller and not a broken water line by manually operating my zone 2 so that he could eliminate that it was not a broken water line. This he did within a few minutes of arriving at my home. To fix the electrical problem he said he did not have the part on his truck and said he would have to leave to go get the part. Once he returned with the part he fixed the problem within 15 minutes. For this he charged me $205 for the electrical connector part and $224 for labor. I feel I was grossly overcharged for the part and grossly overcharged for his labor. When I complained to him about the charges he gave me a small discount of 10%. When I called his office to complain to the manager, the person answering the phone stalled and would not put his manager on the line. Instead she would only put the same technician on the phone which was pointless as I was calling to complain about his unprofessional service. I never got to speak to the manager. I was given the run around by the office person answering the phone. In summary, I believe the technician was knowingly wasting time to run up his labor charges when he realized how quickly he could fix the problem at my home, and he probably unreasonably overcharged me for the little electrical connector part he needed to fix the electrical problem in my controller . Partly it was my fault for not asking the technician for a written cost estimate when he first arrived at my home. Since I had not done that he clearly was running up the costs.

They did a superb job. There were 2 menwho came out and worked on it and they were very professional.

They were just absolutely stellar and beyond what I expected. Waterwise came out and she measured everything. She drew a diagram of the yard, color-coded it and showed me where all the designs were. Everybody from the people I talked to on the phone called to check up and reminded me about the appointment. The guys that came out and did it were wonderful, super nice guys. They worked very hard. They had the whole thing done and you can't even tell in the yard when they were done that they even did anything else. I couldn't be happier with them. I would absolutely recommend them.

The customer service over the phone with the office staff was great. The were very friendly and professional. They told me they would call me the day before appointment day to confirm the appointment and they did. I got another call a few minutes later to say that the service tech had been double booked and wanted to know know if they could change my time slot to early afternoon instead of the morning. I told them that would be fine. They called back a few minutes later to say that they would not need to change my time slot after all. The service tech showed up as scheduled and took care of the issues. He was very polite, well informative.

Waterwise re-graded our entire back yard, installed 7 catch basins and a drainage network that sloped appropriately to the curb, installed a sprinkler system front and back, re-graded the area behind our garage and added river rock, installed two trees in the back yard and also installed landscaping in our front yard. Sprinklers: We're still have problems with the sprinklers being adjusted correctly--we're not sure if not enough were installed or if they were installed in inappropriate locations, but we have dry spots in a few areas front and back. Waterwise tried to fix them but there are still issues. Waterwise charges $90 per hour to adjust sprinklers and I have paid this charge several times and still have had issues where certain spots in the flower beds are not being hit and plants are dying. I do not feel Waterwise stands behind their work when it comes to adjusting/fixing sprinklers, I understand that the $90 charge doesn't come with a warranty, but I shouldn't have to pay this every few months because I keep noticing problems with the previous adjustments. Drainage: the yard drainage is doing exactly what it is supposed to and we haven't had any issues. they did a good job on the drainage...I have one small complaint on the slope of the grass on the left side of my garage, but compared to the issues prior to the work its working great. Landscaping: they did a nice job on the landscaping, it looks great. Overall I would recommend Waterwise. My experience working with the owner of the company was not pleasant, fortunately I was working with his son or nephew? Michael and he was much easier to work with. My advice is to make sure they fix everything perfectly before they leave because they want to nickle and dime you on the sprinkler repairs afterwards.

I LOVE LOVE Waterwise Irrigation. The entire staff is incredibly polite and helpful. I have had two technicians work on my property and both of them were amazing. They are quick with bids, quick with repairs, do not ask for money up front, explain things in terms I understand, and do excellent work. My favorite is Jon, who has always been so helpful and willing to work WITH me and my existing system rather than insisting I revamp the entire thing for thousands of dollars (as most other irrigation companies do.) I HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone. They do not overcharge, arrive on time, and treat me with respect and kindness. Did I mention yet that I love these guys?

After reviewing the system, Waterwise said that it was in terrible shape with the wrong heads in all the wrong places. Since the system was not keeping things alive in my yard, I could not disagree with their diagnosis. So they gave me an estimate to redo the entire yard with all new heads, sprinkler operating system and plumbing. Once I agreed to the estimate, they immediately put me on their schedule. The crew showed up promptly at 8am and began working before I had even finished saying 'Hello' to the foreman. They estimated the work would take two days and that is exactly the amount of time it took. The crew was friendly, worked EXTREMELY hard and kept the yard from looking like a disaster zone while they were in process. I now have a fantastic system that is working perfectly. The only thing I can possibly say negatively about them is that the final walk through did not happen for a week after the initial work was finished in the yard. They are very busy and I understand why it took a week, I just wish it could have been sooner. But other than that - this company is amazing and I would never call anyone else!!

This is the 3rd time (3rd year in a row) that I have called them out. The first was to repair problems by another sprinkler company, the second was to add zones and a rain sensor and this time was for maintenance and system checks. To check the rain sensor, they had to use my waterhose to soak it and check it. I had to complement them on how neatly they rolled my hose back on its hanger. It is a pet peeve of mine when contractors just throw it up there and I appreciated them taking the extra time. When I asked them if I needed to add new heads or change anything, their response was.."I would like to sell you something extra, but to tell you the truth, your system is functioning properly and I wouldn't change a thing!" Well, you never hear that any more. So I am beyond pleased with their work and would recommend them to my family, friends, and neighbors.

We had them out to provide an estimate on installing a complete irrigation system in the yard. They arrived on time, gave a very detailed and professional estimate and seemed to be reasonably priced. At this time, all estimates were a little more than our current budget allows, but we are planning on completing the work in the fall, hopefully, and will certainly bring them out again when we are ready.

He had explained that the inital diagnosis visit would cost $99.50 for the first 30 minutes. When he arrived I showed him around and asked for help with the directional flow of a head in another zone. Once he had my input, he then started his clock. He knew the part would have to be ordered, so we planned a day inbetween for his return. The office called to confirm his return the day before and he called me to notify of his arrival time.

One day job. Arrived when scheduled and completed.

I called out several highly-rated drainage companies for estimates and narrowed the list down to three competitive bids. It was a tough choice, as all three were very professional and the bids were in a very tight range. I chose Waterwise, they scheduled the job for the following week. They called out subcontractors to mark the telephone and gas lines on the Monday, then dug out the trenches, and installed the lines and boxes on Tuesday. Wednesday was left for the city inspection, then Waterwise was back on Thursday to cover everything up and function check all sprinkler and pool systems lines which had been crossed. Excellent work, and I expect the system will function will the next time we have a heavy rain.

Our system is finally working after 2 years. We are very happy not to have to hand water anymore.

An appointment was made with ease. John arrived promptly as scheduled and completed the work in a timely manner. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the work John and his assistant completed. John was very thourough and explained everything as needed. I would highly recommend this company, and specifically John.

The work done was very professional. The sprinkler system is working as designed with plenty of water coverage. I highly recommended this firm.

This was a very frustrating experience for us. We asked them to give us an estimate to replace our irrigation system. We live on one acre, and this would be a fairly big job. I took time off from work, so I could meet their representative and ask questions. The representative showed up promptly to evaluate the property and start working on the estimate. Things went downhill from there. The representative did not provide his estimate within the time that he gave himself to do it. When I followed up with him, he gave himself a few more days and promised to finish up the estimate. That time came and went. I contacted him yet again and asked if we would be getting his estimate soon, or should we just start over with another provider. We never heard from him. What a way to run a business - to not even close the loop with a potential customer. Again, this was very frustrating and big waste of our time.

The installation was completed during the scheduled time period. I contacted Waterwise over the weekend when they were closed and I received a call back the next business day. The representative was professional and scheduled a visit for an estimate. I have to admit that I was not expecting a woman to come out but she knew her stuff. I was given a layout of where the sprinklers would be placed and what type of sprinklers would be placed in each zone. I wanted to get another estimate from another company before making a decision. The other estimate was way too expensive and it offered about the same service as Waterwise so I went with Warerwise. I contacted Waterwise to accept their proposal and scheduled an installation date. They arrive on time on the installation date. The job was complete within The time they quoted. This was a 1 day job and they installed sprinklers in the front, sides and back yard. I received a walk thru demonstration and a guide to assist me in watering each zone (5 zones) throughout the watering seasons. I experienced an issue with the rain sensor but it was quickly repaired and I have not had an issue since then. My lawn looks 10 times better than it looked 3 months ago. What a difference proper watering of the lawn makes. I would highly recommend Warerwise for lawn irrigation.

Received a timely visit to estimate needed repairs but had to contact the company several days later to get this in writing. Written estimate received and was as stated verbally. Schedule for the repairs was timely and within my requested date range. John and his helper were punctual, actually a few minutes early. I was updated on the job progress and on additional costs associated with leaks that were unknown at the time of the estimate. No additional work was done without my consent. The job site was clean on completion. I was informed as to all that was done. Walk through on the repaired areas was done and all systems checked prior to job completion. Overall I an very satisfied with this company.
