It went well initially, work was done very quickly and professionally... however when i contacted them that I still had some pooling issues at the back door I didn't get a response. In their defense my contact no longer worked there but after contacting a different representative they came out and adjusted the original work. only minor discrepancy is the original guy missed filling in one of the holes they injected into, leaving a hole in the concrete outside of the garage.

They pumped a cement/mud mixture beneath the various sections of the drive and re-leveled them. The old driveway now looks great and is safe to walk on.5300

They worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up the site and left the area in tip top shape. We are an HOA community on the North side of town and adjacent to Jack Rabbit Golf Course.

Removed patio furniture from patio. Jack hammered 20 (2'') holes. Filled them with cement mixture. Leveled to patio even. Did exactly what they described. Swept & cleaned up properly. Foreman Emilio very professional & nice.

I need to update my review... Debbie contacted me on the 1st. I called back and she apologized and explained what happened and the reason why they didnt contact me before. It turned out that they had a new person come on board and did not know that they needed to check Angieslist emails. I asked her about an estimate and she informed me that they were all booked up and the earliest for my area would be the 24th, however she was going to look for an opening sooner. She kept me imformed of what was going on and how she was working on an earlier day to come out for an estimate. She called me and told she had found an estimate day for the 4th, so I took it. Eric came by and again apologized for the inconvenience. He went ahead and looked and did some measuring and gave me an estimate. He looked at the calendar and told me that he could move some things around and if I wanted he could fit me in on the 12th in the morning. They came out and what can I say...They did an awesome job. Very professional and explained everything they were going to do. They raised my panels on my driveway and certainly exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with the work and pleased. All at a reasonable price. We recommend this company and would certainly hire them again.

Asked for a quotation twice, no response at all.

We have 2 large oaks in the front yard as well as a driveway that was constructed 30 years ago without rebar (which I have learned is very common with builders). The sidewalks in the front of the house and leading up to the house were uneven due to heaving and sinking and a couple of sections were cracked. The driveway also had some cracks and some sections were uneven. Rather than spend $15K replacing all of this, we decided to give this concrete raising a try. The company was able to level almost everything. All the trip hazards are gone and it looks terrific. Because of the roots, the sidewalk sections don't align perfectly, but it's more than good enough. The job was done in a day and certainly exceeded our expectations. They have to drill holes into the concrete to pump in the mud to raise the sections, so you will always see the patches but it's a very minor thing compared to the overall improvement. We are very happy with the work and pleased that we were able to resolve all the trip hazards at such a reasonable price. We recommend this company and would certainly hire them again.

Since Southern Concrete Raising shut their business down before this deal was implemented I cannot comment further. They did refer me to Mustang Concrete Solutions and they gave me the same price. They have not done the work yet so I'll review them when it's completed.

You should know this company is presently out of business. The principal, Richard Faust, has tragically passed away.

Front entry sidewalk was uneven which created a dangerous tripping hazard. Driveway and patio both had uneven panels which looked bad and collected standing water. Southern Concrete Raising came in and raised and leveled all the low areas eliminating the tripping hazards and the standing water areas. Company was prompt, professional, and very easy to work with. Quote was done the day after I called. The nature and scope of the work was thoroughly explained and all my questions were answered. Work was scheduled for two weeks out. At the last minute I had to change the work date and they were very accommodating. Crew arrived on time and crew chief, Mario, confirmed exactly what was to be done and explained the timing for completion. They showed me what they were doing during this process and when finished, they had me inspect everything. They were obviously experienced and the work was done quickly and professionally. All went exactly as planned and the crew cleaned up everything very well before they left. That's important because it's a messy process. Billing was exactly as agreed - no surprises or extra charges. Overall, the results met my expectations. The repaired areas look great and the drainage and drying is now exactly as it should be with no standing water. It's been nine months since this work was performed and all areas remain raised and level. I recommend Southern Concrete Raising and will use them again if the occasion ever arises.

Very responsive to provide quote, easy and quick to schedule. We had seen reviews for this company on Next Door and Angie's List, and thought we would give it a shot. They leveled our driveway and sidewalk, saving us thousands over replacing what were basically good slabs. The crew was professional and friendly, and cleaned up after they left. Very happy with the service, highly recommended!

From the first contact to the service they were top notch. Very professional, honest and excellent communication throughout the process. Left everything very clean. Would highly recommend them. This level of customer service is rare in Houston.

I purchased a foreclosed home built in 1976. The home was not taken care of, and neither was the pool. The entire deck was separated from the coping and sagging in most areas as much as an inch (may have been more) due to water erosion. I received estimates to replace the decking with new cement but upon further research you could do this thing called "mud jacking". I haven't heard of it before so I decided to search on Angie's List for companies in my area to do it. Mark White showed up, gave me an estimate that was significantly less than having it all replaced so I hired them to do the job. We scheduled the job but it ended up raining so bad on the day of my appointment that they rescheduled me a week later. They called me a few days later and said they have an opening earlier so I jumped on it. They showed up on time and ready to get to work. My pool remodel company showed up that morning as well (without telling me) but the crew at Southern Concrete Raising never skipped a beat. They said it was no problem and they worked around the other crew plastering my pool. The entire crew was respectful, professional and really seemed to love what they do. The pool crew was as just as amazed as I was on how awesome the process was (it's really cool to watch!!). They drill holes, pump the "mud" into it and BLAM you can watch the concrete raise. The decking is now level with the coping and it looks better than I ever imagined it would. The guys cleaned up, were very nice and I am very pleased in how it turned out. Not many details.. Southern did exactly what they said they would do exactly when they said they would do it. Everything went without any problems. People were all courteous and professional.

I have called Southern Concrete Raising three times and every time I get an answering service. I have left two message with the answering service for one of their sales people to call me. It has been a month and nobody has called back
