He gave the best presentation I had ever seen. He will be installing the pool within three weeks. The equipment he used was great and the price, while a little high, was good.

I contacted the pool man to come by and give me an estimate on the pool. They rescheduled the appointment three times. The third time he called 15 minutes before the scheduled appoint and told me he was at the Cypress Home show and not going to be able to make it.

I was thrilled with the work that was done. Not only is the filter now in great working condition, I also learned some additional information that will help us keep our system in good working order.

Our beautiful backyard pool, built by the Pool Man, Inc. of Cypress, Texas is everything we were hoping for ...and much more! From the inspired design of Wes Colby, through the nearly flawless execution of construction foreman Bart Russell and his subcontractor crews, to the start-up expertise of technician Joel Fitzgerald, the entire experience was very positive. After considering the bid proposals and designs of three pool builders, we went with the Pool Man, Inc. Pool Man's bid, in dollar amount, was the middle one, with a range of plus or minus 10%. But, the deciding factors came down to intangible qualities such as: 1) years in the pool building business (>30), 2) Local family business (not a national franchise), 3) activity level (>50 pools built per year), 4) communication ability, 5) product examples and referrals and 6) a company that was well organized and projected an image of professionalism and prosperity. Pool construction, with so many different trades involved (at least nine), is a complex endeavor. During the construction of our pool, a two week delay was caused by the back ordering of the water line tile and the coping rock, Wister Flagstone. Delays such as these are beyond the control of the pool builder, but still affect the scheduling of other trades. The pool was finished in eight weeks, as promised. Pool Man, Inc. responded immediately to several issues that came up during or right after start-up. This is the hallmark of a company that not only remains in business during economic downturns but prospers during the good times. It's all about customer service and standing behind your word -- Pool Man, Inc. does this without question. During the pool builder selection process, we went with our instincts -- we were not disappointed. We recommend Pool Man, Inc. to anyone looking to build their backyard dream pool.

The experience was excellent. I was concerned that it would take more time than estimated, but they actually completed the job in less time than expected. Every person I dealt with was professional and did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, from the salesperson, the coordinator, the construction manager and all the sub-contractors. There was an issue with the spa spillway and they came out and fixed it to my satisfaction in a timely manner. From the day they dug the hole to the day my son first got in the pool was 4 weeks to the day. I would recommend the Pool Man to anyone that asked me!

We just signed up with them. They are doing a good job and their rates are good. They come on Wednesdays and there is not a set time which is fine with us.

The Pool Man never followed up with a call.

We were losing water in the pool and we had them checkout, if there was any problem with the equipment. They came over checked the same and didn?t find any problem with the equipment. They didn?t charge us anything for the inspection. We liked their customer service, which was very good and they recommended us to someone else, to inspect the leak. They were very good and we will use their services in the future, too.

The job was performed but I returned home to find water gushing from a crack at the top of the filter. No note, no call, just a broken filter. I called the office back and was told that, "Yeah, that sometimes happens when you do a sand change." And that since it happened while they were there, they would be willing to make me a good deal on a new filter.

It all went very smoothly and as planned. There were a couple of delays getting the fence installed but other than that everything was done promptly and with high quality.

Very personable, knew what he was doing, got it done in time and did it right.

Service tech was very helpful. He offered options on our service and performed them as specified.

They were very accommodating. It did take some time to do the work because of the weather but when they did get in to do the work it went wonderful. This is the first time I had used their services and I was pleased with the work.

It was fabulous, definitely an "A". We came to them after a really bad experience with another company. I thought that their communication was exceptional which can be hard to find in the pool business.

Selected four pool companies for original bid. I had selected The Pool Man based on reviews on another website (before I knew about Angie's List). The other bidders were recommended by the granite installer. Selected the Pool Man based on quality of referrals, quality and thoroughness of bid, and price. They were not the most expensive or the least expensive (probably 15% more than the lowest bidder). Once contracted, the Pool Man worked at an acceptable pace to complete entire scope of project. They original scope was expanded to include some plumbing after it was determined that the original plumbing had been damaged when the deck was removed by a separate contractor. Overall, the pool looks great, I have would definitely recommend this company for other people. My contact at the Pool Man was Bob May. He was easy to work with.

Very responsive and willing to go above & beyond. If subcontractor missed something or made a mistake they were very quick in having it fixed. We were terrified of the pool building horror stories and had a good experience with the Poolman. Also gave better price & better equipment & better design than competitors (Star Pools and Platinum Pools).

The are very quick to respond and very helpful. They get us the best price and we feel comfortable using them.

This contractor does good job. They are responsive and punctual. We have no complaints except that their price is a little high.

Pool Man was very respectful, and always on time when they came out. I really liked that they walked us through everything from how to run it, keep it clean, and put all the chemicals in. I am very satisfied with their professionalism. The workers cleaned up after themselves, and never left a mess when they were done.
