I believe Angie's list should do a mystery check of these offers. Having customers do the reviews gets into a he said- she said situation. I've started using Home Advisor because Al walks away from conducting their own investigation.

It was great. He came on time. Very professional. He finished the job with great speed. He cleaned up before he left. It was a positive experience.

They are very helpful and responsive and have some of the highest levels of customer service. They are a small company with only the owner and a helper showing up. The price was in the zone of reasonableness but seemed to be on the higher end. The only negative comment I have is that they did not pull a permit prior to starting the work. They did pull a permit after the work was completed at my insistence. The work did not pass inspection the first time but was corrected and then did pass inspection. I believe that Plumbing Right Now is knowledgeable and will stand behind their work. What I like most is that they will respond back to you very quickly. I will use again.

I paid $99 for $200 worth of plumbing services. I had already purchased the faucet and removed the old one. The final price came to $389, which seemed high for the job done. I'm not entirely sure, though, if the job was overpriced because (1) some of the plumbing parts had to be replaced and (2) the job took longer than the plumber estimated. The work took about 2 1/2 hours. So, I don't feel that great about writing Whether I would or wouldn't hire this plumber again because of the additional time and hassle involved. And don't know enough about standard pricing to judge.

He was able to blow out the pipes saving us the replacement price. He fixed the toilet. The next day while I was cleaning I noticed a very fine crack in the toilet. They were notified in case it leaked which so far it has not.

Great, Bill was honest and timely. I would highly recommend him. He does not cheat or rip you off. Very trustworthy.

We purchased a Angie's List Special Offer for plumbing to replace a 17 year old kitchen faucet. Bill Glass, Owner of Plumbing Right Now responded to our order the day after the order was placed, and much to our surprise, scheduled the job for mid-day Saturday. The old faucet was quite difficult to remove since the bolts and connections were fused together with rust. Being a veteran of three previous full house remodeling projects, I know a Pro when I see one. When you want to find out the skill sets of a Tradesman, give them a difficult job to do. While the removal of the old faucet was challenging, Mr. Glass knew exactly what to do to effect the replacement. Mr. Glass' work is fast, efficient and at the end of the job he cleaned up all of the mess and even took the old parts and boxes away with him. In addition, approximately one hour prior to the service call we were notified by a neighbor that our Sprinkler System was spewing water out of the control valve. Mr. Glass checked out system and determined that the control valve was not repairable and he would need to locate one for replacement. Imagine our surprise when Mr. Glass contacted us early Monday morning (one day later) and not only had located the necessary replacement valve, but had scheduled an appointment for that afternoon to effect the repair. We are so impressed with Mr. Glass and his professionalism and customer care that we are more than pleased to recommend Plumbing Right Now to anyone who is in need of a top level company.

We had our garbage disposer drain clog up and needed a plumber. I had recently been thinking about getting a water-heater flush as well and I saw a “Angie’s List Deal” for - $99 for a Plumbing Tune-Up, Water-Heater Flush, Toilet Tune-Up, with 25% off additional labor. Bill Glass arrived as scheduled, he was knowledgeable, courteous, and performed the inspection and the work timely. In addition to the clogged drain and water-heater flush he noted our water shut off valve for the house was in poor condition (another project that I had been thinking about for many months), so I let him replace that as well. I paid $99 for the deal (water-heater flush and plumbing inspection) and $360 for the additional work (drain clog and shut off valve replacement). I am pleased with the work and I would definitely consider using Right Now Plumbing again.

2 other plumbing companies could not fix this problem. Plumbing Right Now had me up and running within an hour. LOVE THIS COMPANY!

Everything went well. Even after a small issue arose, Bill came back to fix it. I would definitely use him again. I will also be referring him to friends and family.

Work was performed efficiently and on time.

Had to contact the vendor directly by phone 4 days after purchase. Vendor honored the requested times during AL purchase and arrived within window. Bill inspected and identified a missing $130 drip leg on the water heater but didn't have the supplies on hand to do repair. My wife and I researched current Harris county code and confirmed valid for new construction. Erring on the side of safety I reached out to Bill twice to schedule a drip line repair time with no response. Bill is very personable and knows his stuff but the experience lacked the expected administrative responses.

It was horrible. I had the deal printed and the first thing he did was go through it and say, we don't do this, we don't do this, we can't do that........I told him why is it part of the deal then? He said that Angie's list writes up the deals without checking with the plumbers to see if we even do those things. For example. The first one is cleaning shower heads and faucet aerators. He said most of the time it is just calcium deposits and it takes a long time for them to sit in chemicals to have them cleaned out. The next item he said they don't do is checking water-pressure regulator for proper reading. He said most do not have regulators, so that can't be done. The only thing he did was open up the toilet bowl that I was having a problem with and that is the main reason I bought the deal was you would have to shake the handle for the toilet so the bowl could fill up with water. Whatever he did, made it worse than it was before he came. He said he would call me back after checking to see if he could replace the part and what it would cost. He never called. From what I've learned after, which he didn't offer, is...you can buy any complete inside toilet bowl kit to replace the one already there. He did not offer any of that information. He said it would probably be best just to buy a whole new toilet. I told him that is ridiculous that people would have to buy a whole new toilet and can't repair the one they have? That did not make sense to me, but he said that would be the best thing to do. Unbelievable.

Company called to set up an appointment with me. Bill called to let me know when he was on his way the day of the appointment. He arrived within the 2 hour window as promised. He was professional, knowledgeable, and didn't mind educating me about my plumbing issues and answering questions.

The plumber was running late, didn't bother to call, so I stepped in and handled the customer service part and called him after he was late. My work in that area was not deducted from the bill. He said it would be another hour or so. It's not really a "tune up" per say, as that would imply actual work was done for the $99.00 besides the water heater flush. It was more like an "evaluation". He pointed out some things around the house that were not up to code, flushed the water heater which he said probably didn't do too much good in my case. And then changed out a commode flapper for an extra $95.00. It reminds of that joke - "A man calls a plumber to his house and the plumber does an hour's worth of work, charges the poor slob $1000.00. " "A thousand dollars for one hour's work???!!. Why even my attorney doesn't charge that much!!! " " "I know", the plumber said, "that's why I quit practicing law." " I save these reviews (copy and paste) to see if and how much Angie's List edits them

I did the purchase on Angie's list. It was one of the specials. I think it was Angie's List. Maybe it was a group-on. I was very satisfied and they seemed to be very professional. I had a very good experience with getting it scheduled. They scheduled it within a few days.

It was supposed to be one day, turned out to be 3 days, by accident the cut a gas line, they controlled the leak and we were without gas for 2 days, central point (our gas company) took a while to come,

Perfectly train was cleared within 10 minutes . The technician was very knowledgeable and informative .

We were very impressed with their professionalism and commitment to do an excellent job. We felt like we had gotten a good deal on the water heaters and Bill, the owner, went to extreme measures to protect my wooden floors as he moved old and new ones In and out. After the job was done, they made sure all their mess was cleaned up. I was very impressed with their work ethics and Bill's knowledge and expertise. I will definitely be calling on them again!
