I’ll let you decide. This replaces a prior review since Bill did contact me. I have a Moen Thermostatic shower cartridge. It’s different than others in that you set the temperature of the water you like by the large handle that has temperature settings on the handle and leave it at that setting, shower after shower. You turn on and off the water and the volume by a second smaller handle. The principal is that the shower cartridge regulates the amount of hot and cold water coming out of the shower head so that it is always the same temperature. That prevents scalding or cold water coming out if someone turns on another plumbing fixture at the same time you are showering. But these cartridges eventually stop working, like mine. Since I’m fairly handy and do most repairs around my house, I first started by reading about this cartridge on the internet. I determined very quickly this would require a smart plumber to install and calibrate properly. I had employed Bill, the owner, previously and he did excellent work on my tankless water heaters. So I contacted him and he came out promptly. He disassembled the shower valve, but in hindsight, I realized he was not familiar with this type cartridge. To be fair, the internet articles made it clear that this type cartridge was very rare and most plumbers would not have prior experience. But that’s the reason I hired Bill. He replaced the cartridge I had purchased and it did work. I was charged $229 for one hour. I thought the labor was a little expensive, but I’m willing to pay extra for someone who is an expert repairing this unique shower. Alas, Bill was not that expert. Bill left and I thought everything was ok. However, the first time I used it the next day, it would not get hot, only warm. I immediately called Bill. He was confused why it was working when he left, but not now. He said he had to leave town and would be back the next week. On the following Monday I called Bill. He put me down for the next afternoon. After 4:00 pm on that Tuesday, I texted Bill it was getting late and to reschedule for a morning appointment that week. By the following Sunday I had it heard from him, so I downloaded the proper instructions from the Moen website, and quickly disassembled and reassembled the cartridge and the other parts according to the instructions. It took me about 15 minutes. It works as intended. Bill called me the following Monday and explained his wife had been ill. I explained it was now working and he did not need to return. The instructions from the manufacturer, Moen, made it clear that for this system to work as intended, the parts, including the cartridge must be installed in an exact manner. This is why it would not work when I used it. Bill did get it working, but the parts were not exactly placed according to the instructions I eventually used, so when he turned it off, this unique valve resets, and since the parts were not properly aligned to begin with, it would not correctly function when I used it for the first time. Frankly, the idea behind this type shower makes it a real pain to repair. Bill is an excellent plumber who cares for his customers. But here’s my review which is both good and bad. My complaints are: 1. One hour of labor for $229. I would be ok if Bill realized he was not familiar with the shower valve, went online like me and got the manufacturer’s instructions, and then installed it correctly. That extra time and diligence would justify $229. 2. Not contacting me sooner. I completely understand that his wife required his attention, but I expect someone in his office to contact me. Ten days without a functioning shower is not acceptable unless you know why the delay. Bill, or his company, failed in that respect . These are my thoughts. But the point of reviews are to inform other potential customers of prior experiences from their customers. So...you be the judge.

I strongly recommend this company. Bill worked with me over the phone to help me decide whether to go with a conventional tank hot water heater to replace our almost 20 yr old tank, or a tankless one. He was never pushy, & listened to our concerns & explained pros & consnof.each. He was also very responsive to my concerns about having someone in the house during this pandemic when explained I am in a high risk group. In the end we went with a tankless heater and are very pleased with the choice. On installation day, he and his workers were quick, neat, and efficient, and were masked and gloved in response to my concern over Covid. We really like Bill and his service and will definitely use again for some other upcoming projects we are thinking about. Thank you, Bill!

The owner, Bill, came out to my retail strip building to repair a leaking hose bib. The hose bib is a special kind that is recessed in the wall and required a square key to open and turn on. These are typical on commercial buildings. Since this was not a standard hose bib like one found on a house, the repair parts would need to be ordered and were quite expensive. I elected to just cap the water line to the hose bib inside the building. Bill came back on a Saturday to perform the repair. The work went as planned and I have no complaints. The cost was $346. I wish it were less expensive but this was one of my less expensive plumbing repairs so I can't complain. I will use Bill again when I need him.

The toilet was resealed, looks great, no further leaks.

He replaced the parts to a faucet that leaked. After trying two of them he said the faucet was old and could not be repaired. After a couple of years with no cold water in that sink, I went to home depot, bought a 7 dollar part and within 15 minutes, I now have a working faucet with cold water.

On time, very neat, very honest. Definitely would use them again.

Very well. They provided 3 options for replacement at a decent price, and made sure we understood enough to make the best choice so as to disrupt as little of the concrete/yard and trees as possible. The finished the job in just a few hours, replaced some broken sprinkler pipe as well, and threw in a new main house valve as well. It looks great and we got what we expected.

It went well. I placed the order for service. The company did not respond after two hours so I called. Owner was unaware of the need for repair but came out after his last appointment 6:30ish pm to clear the drain. After the initial bump, the service was awesome.
