I had some storm damage to a large tree in my backyard. A limb approximately 40' long and 12" in diamter broke during the winds. It damaged an adjacent tree as well. Based on the feedback in Angie's List and their location, I called Olvera Tree Service for an estimate. They responded that afternoon with the estimate. I wanted the broken branch removed and the damaged trees trimmed. I had some work done last year and had seven small stumps that I wanted ground up as well. Based on the reviews in Angie's List and the quote given, I decided not to look any further and accepted the offer. They came out on May 22 with a full crew and were there around two hours. They left the the yard immaculate. I would use them again for sure. P.S. Just a note to anyone getting stumps ground, be sure and call the phone, cable, or electric company if you have buried lines. They will come out and mark the lines with spray paint at no charge.

Good Experience! Team arrived as scheduled and quickly went about their work. They cleaned up after job completion to my satisfaction. Confirmed "job completion" with me before closing the job down. Very courteous and professional. No issues to report. I have more tree work to do and plan on using this company again.

Very professional initial visit for the estimate. This company is fully insured which is very important to me when large trees are in areas where damage can occur to property or injury to one of their workers. I compared to other companies after the estimate and found their pricing to be fair, a cheaper estimate was made but that individual was not insured. It was not necessary for me to be home when the work was done. Clean up was very complete, only a little sawdust left on the lawn. Stump grinding was complete, the area closest to the house does not look like there was ever a tree there. One tree in the back was in the middle of other smaller ones and they were untouched. There was a little problem with some broken flower pots in the back that I was not alerted to. The workers did 'replant' the contents into empty pots I had on the deck so the plants were not lost. They also missed one living tree at the back fence that I feel was simply an oversite. When brought to their attention they came back on Saturday and removed that tree. Overall I was very pleased with the work, would recommend this company and will use them again as the need arises.

Estimate was prompt and scheduled service 2 weeks out. Service was overall good. They had to re-sod a portion of my neighbor's yard that was trenched by their truck and also returned to cut one trunk closer to the ground. Price was slightly better than other bids.

I have not made a decision yet as to exactly when or what I am going to do to do about the job.

Called the company one morning and within an hour Nino came out and walked the property wth my husband and I. By that afternoon we were e-mailed a quote and the job was scheduled for the following week. The crew showed up 15 minutes early and we re- walked the property. The job took 4 hour, with the exception of the stump grinding, which Nino did himself a little later that afternoon. We didn't get other quotes, but based on prior work we have had done and other pricing by Olvera and other companies on Angie's list we felt that the job was very fair. They did an excellent job. The guys were very polite and through the process made sure we were happy with the progress. We will without a doubt use them again. I also wanted to mention that Grace in the office was very nice too.

As an overall exprience I will give Olvera Tree Service a "B". Their price, punctuality, and professionalism was all very good. I will use them again in the future.

OLVERA TREE SERVICE, INC I had moved into the house 17 years ago and the yard was well seasoned and I got tired of looking at it and wanted something different. I had Olvera Tree Service, undo (remove) the landscaping so, I can do something different with it. They were very professional from the beginning to the end of the job and called me if they were running late. They removed 3 trees, came back 2 days later to do some more work then a week later to do the grinding of the stumps and roots. Did a remarkable job, I thought they were great and I recommend them to everybody I know.

They did a good job. The only issue was they were slow in responding and failed to get the job done the first time they scheduled it. We figured they were simply inundated because they had such a good rating on Angies list and couldn't keep up with their growing business.

They arrived on time, but since Nino wasn't there - he walked the property with me previously and gave the estimate - the crew wasn't sure where they were supposed to work. I walked it with them and showed them. The work took the crew one full day, but since they couldn't fit all the huge cuts into the truck, they came back the next day and finished cleaning up. I'm very pleased with the work and will definitely use them in the future. We have 17 acres and still have trees damaged/down from Ike, so we'll be calling them again.

They did a quick and efficient job and cleaned up and hauled away all the debris. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Upon purchase of home, there was a 42" dead pine within 3' of the house. The pine was approximately 80' tall and ready to drop branches any day. Olvera's crew showed up on time and proceeded to take down the pine without any damage to our roof or surrounding trees. In addition to the agreed to work, they also cleaned up some smaller trees we had cut down the day before for no added cost. The guys were polite and easy to communicate with.

They were ther on time just as they said they would be and compleated the job without incident. They seemed to be safe in their work and cleaned everything up very well.

I called on Friday, March 4 to schedule a quote. He came out on Monday, March 7 for the quote. His quote was $585.00 to remove both trees (the Ash and the Pear), which was 65.00 less than my other quote. I asked him (Nino) if he could trim the live oak in the yard while he was there. He only added $20.00 to the total to trim the live oak. He removed the trees and trimmed on Tuesday, March 8. When I returned home that day I was amazed at how neat and clean by back yard was. The holes were filled and the yard was neat.

Overall very satisfied. Nino Cervantes responded promptly and provided an estimate. I authorized the work, which they completed the next day. They arrived on time, performed the work very professionally, and did a very good job cleaning up. I thought the price was very fair.

The large crew arrived promplty as scheduled. Within a half day they completed all work, and then cleaned up and hauled away all their debris. The yard was spotless when they finished.

I called Nino Cervantes to ask him if they could send someone over to give us a quote to trim a giant oak tree in our back yard. To my surprise, he said that he could have someone come in 30 minutes. He showed up and within a couple of minutes told us that he could have someone do the job for $250. He also said that despite a dismal forecast, they could probably do the job that afternoon. We went to have lunch and he called us to tell us that he was on the way to our home. By the time we arrived they were done with the trimming and were cleaning up! We really appreciated the prompt, professional way the company responded to our request. They take credit cards and have an excellent record with the BBB. Great Job!

From the first call made to the office, to the visit for an estimate, to the short time it took for them to come out, it was an excellent experience.

I had a dead 40 foot hickory tree in my front yard and a tree stump needing removal in my back yard. Olvera service bid a fair price ($325) and got to my job quickly . They quickly removed the tree and stump. They were careful not to damage anything in dropping and disposing the tree and stump. They were very impressive in their attention to clean up and you could not tell any removal work had even occurred after they were done.

They were very nice, professional people. They got here on time and trimmed the trees to my liking. They explained the work before they did it. They did an excellent job.

Estimator showed up right on time. Bid was reasonable and as expected based on similar / prior work. Laborers and equipment arrived in timely manner. Work was completed quickly and effectively. Workers were competent, hard working and generally safe (would have liked to have seen more safety glasses when using chain saws). Overall, very good results. Yard was cleaned well after work was completed. Very satisfied. Would use them again without reservation.

I have used him for three years now, and he is reasonable with his pricing. It depends on how big the tree is for the price. He is always good at cleaning up after himself. I had him cut down a big pine tree for me and I thought the price was really reasonable. He is always on time, courteous and respectful of my property.

We had some trees in our yard that we wanted removed so we called Olvera Tree Service and they did a great job. The men were punctual and very efficient in getting the trees cut down without damaging anything around them. The trees were trimmed down and then removed from our yard completely. We were pleased with the price, as it was very reasonable.
