Mr. Fox replaced the light with no problem, but then he would not respond to an additional request!

We received the quote and design within a week of our first meeting. Kyle provided a very informative and detailed presentation of his design and quote. We were not only satisfied with the design but also the price. His quote came almost 20K under other quotes we received and his design far overdid the rest. Very impressed and happy with Fox Pools!

Although in the end they built us a nice pool, the experience was unsatisfactory in many ways. First, they failed to obtain the required building permits as specified in the contract. This caused us to receive a citation from Harris County and delayed construction by about 10 days to two weeks while they were clearing up that mess. Second, Brad and Kyle represented to us that they would perform the plumbing and electrical work themselves. Imagine our surprise when a different individual arrived and said he was the plumber. This individual was not adequately qualified. When the sewer drain line for our house was relocated this plumver installed it incorrectly, without the proper slope and it would not drain properly. This required an entire section of the sewer to be dug up and repaired. Third, Brad and Kyle represented to us that they would build "planters" into our rock waterfall. The waterfal was not constructed this way, and when I asked them to fix it they said it wasn't in the contract. They did a "half assed" job of adding some onto the back of the water fall, but is was not as we had discussed, and they refused to fix it properly. Fourth, our contract defined a schedule of payments due as various phases of the construction were completed. Nevertheless, they requested several payments ahead of this schedule and I had to explain to them that the payment schedule would be as agreed in the contract. this created an uncomfortable situation. Fifth, the job was not completed in the timeframe they promised. What was supposed to take approximately four weeks took nearly three ,months, despite good weather for the most part. I lost count of how many good weather days elapsed with no work taking place. Their failure to obtain a building permit was a factor in this also. Sixth, they stated they would provide me with a warranty. However, I have called Brad twice in the last month to come and repair a leak in the auto-fill line. He has said he will come and fix it, but has not showed up to do so. I don't believe they stand behind their work adequately. I was perticularly disappointed because I had hired Brad about eight years ago to rennovate another pool, and I felt he handled that job well. Obviously, my opinion has changed.

Fox Pool charges me by the month. I am very happy with that. I would rather pay monthly than have to pay every week. You cannot beat the price for the services they provide either. The pool always looks great. The workers and the professionalism they carry along with them is stupendous. They are very nice people with good heads on their shoulders.

Fox Pool did a good, perfect, and timely job. They said it would take ninety days and it was finished in that time frame. They didn't tear up the whole yard or have it full of dirt and debris. They put the pool and sun decks up and made sure we were okay to that point before starting some of the finishing work. They really worked hard to get this done and we don't have one complaint with our pool.

Fox has been servicing our pool for a couple of years and has always done a superb job. They keep the appointments on time and try not to spend any more time than necessary to complete the task. Our pool filtering system wasn't working the way it used to, so Fox replaced it, without making a mess. We were swimming in it two days later.
