Fix My Slab

Fix My Slab showed up on time and completed the work quickly and cleaned up well.

They were very professional, anyone having issues with their slab need to call Fix My Slab. The price quated was beyond fair. I am so glad I went thru Service Magic and found Fix My Slab. The project was completed on time.

Fix My Slab leveled my home just as they said they would. They came when scheduled and did the job quickly. My only complaint is the quality of the finish work. The ground around the pier holes was not even and I'm going to have to work on that to fix it. Also the areas where concrete was removed, the finishing work looked crude and unprofessional. I may have to break out the concrete and finish it correctly. I believe that the finish work is the last thing that a customer sees and that this should receive appropriate attention. Having the proper tools and supplies to finish a job correctly would greatly improve over all customer ratings.

I was very pleased with Fix My Slab and especially Ty..... I was pretty stressed about all of this being a recent widow and Ty answered all of my questions with superb knowledge and professionalism.... he told what to expect, the time frame involved and eleviated any further concern on my part...all around, it was a very good experience and I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone and.....I already have....thanks, Ty.....

Nice owner, nice crew. The manager on site was friendly and professional. Why only a 4 for quality? It's a slab. Ask me again in 10 years and hopefully I will give a five. :) I easily recommend them.

Prompt reply, good communication, showed up on time & cleaned up afterwards. Everything worked out alright. I have one minor thing. The pee gravel was not fixed properly. I will probably get this fixed myself with an additional bag of cement. I could have said something at the end but these guys worked so hard and long that I accepted this minor blemish. I already recommended them to my work colleagues.

Ty was very knowledgeable and was more than willing to spend the time to explain the problems we were having and how to fix them. He provided us with options for the service. We ran into a scheduling snafu when his crew arrived a week earlier than agreed to and both my husband and I were out of town. However, he acknowledged the error was on his part and worked with us to get the work done when it was convenient and realistic for us. The crew leader was knowledgeable and also took the time to explain what was going on. The crew worked hard on a super hot August 2011 day. Ty was back on a Sat. to finish clean up his crew couldn't complete.

Did wonderful work, clean up was messy and not as well as we expected compared to other contractors we have had for digging holes in yard. Only problem was when called back to fix a minor problem wouldn't return phone calls.

The employees and the Owner especially at Fix my Slab are very nice and respectable people. That alone is worth calling them. The other contractors that I called were all very cold and nonchalant.

poor communication! They were "suppose" to get back to me about the window that broke during the foundation fix... never heard back... so either it takes so long to complete the investigation or i wasn't important enough. Ty seems nice but was let down by the communication. Was going to complain through BBB but i just want to end this. Please look for someone else who is more affordable and who will not just leave you when the work is all done. I should of went with this other foundation company but i put my full trust in Fix My Slab. So anyway i don't recommend this company.

Ty and his crew were very impressive. Professional from beginning to end. He reassured me that my house was not in as bad of shape as I originally thought! The repair was fast, professional and way less than I had budgeted for. I strongly recommend Fix My Slab!

Ty explained the procedures and worked through some difficulties in scheduling to get the job done in a timely manner. I would have liked to have the dirt mounds leveled instead of raised.

Showed up on schedule (both for estimate and for the job). Completed work as agreed. Professional. Owner quite responsive, answers own phone. Crew had right skills and tools. Very prompt service. Price a tad high, but the job was small, finished in less than one day, crew could not really do another job that day.

Very prompt, hard working crew who came in every morning, went to work and didn't stop until they went home in the evening. They explained what they were doing and let us know when more work was needed than expected. They did a great job for us.

Ty was at my house the same day I called him. He charged exactly what he quoted, began the job within that same week and finished in one day. Very happy that we chose to use him.

Ty was extremely professional, experienced & knowledgeable. He looked at what another contractor saw as a small chimney repair and suspected that it was a symptom of a larger problem so he took extensive measurements and found the actual problem. His bid to fix the foundation was reasonable. His team arrived at the arranged time each day and left the work area meticulously clean at the end of the project. I highly recommend Fix My Slab.

I was very pleased with my foundation work. They came when they said they were and were very professional. The price was fair. Ty was very easy to work with. It took a little longer than two days as promised, but that was because of the weather (ice on Houston roads). The only problem I could see (and this is minor) was that I felt like they should have covered all the deep holes left at the end of the day while working on the foundation. They did cover most of of them, but not all of them. This could be an accident waiting to happen. I would recommend them to my friends and family.
