Description of Work: Good job! Yes, I recommend them. Total cost was $230, after the $30 angie's list discount coupon. Replaced Timer and Repaired Float. | |Similar Fees with both All Septic and Aero Septic |Replace spray head - $25 |Replace Timer - $75 |Rebuild air compressor - $275 |Replace air compressor(new) - $475 | |The owner was professional and quickly returned my call. James, the service manager and technician scheduled the service call within 2 days of my call. James is very good and knowledgeable. He explained and showed me everything. He is by the books and told me he checked on my service contract with the county and I was under contract with other company until April. I had a bad timer which was $75 to replace I think. They also charge $75 for a service call. One of the floats had to be replaced off of the float stick that has 3 or 4 floats that tie to or set off the alarms and spray heads. For Montgomery county they charge $185 per year for the quarterly maintenance for the year. He quoted me $100 to troubleshoot and fix float problem-if I wanted it repaired. I think he said they charge $75 per hour to trouble shoot. They charge $25 to do a simple replacement of a broken spray head-same cost with both All Septic and Aero Septic. With both septic companies the cost to rebuild the air compressor (replace diffibulators, pin, and one other part possibly) its about $275, for a new one it's about $475. Same price with both companies. Previous company, Aero Septic, charged $275 for rebuild (replaced 2 speaker looking parts(diffibulator) and the pin. | |I am currently paying $175 per year with Aero Septic for maintenance. I will be switching to All Septic for $185. | |It seems like there is always something wrong with this darn septic system. Definitely makes sense to have a maintenance contract so that you don't pay $75 per call with multiple calls per year. I know people that do it themselves as well, but I would rather hire someone. Also, it is regulated by the county. | | | |

Had to start looking for a new inspection provider due to my previous provider raised their price for the required 3 annual inspections. So I looked to Anglies list for service providers. I found All Septic s was offering the annual inspection for under a hundred dollars a year. Which I found to be very responsible for what is required. Outstanding service. Contacted promptly after buying the maintenance contract at the beginning of the year. Service was not required until June. Was contacted prior to the tech showing up to do the inspection and asked what would be a good day and time. Tech showed up on time, was very friendly and explained the entire process. Once he saw that it was aerobic septic system, he needed to call his boss, due to the fact that they don't normally service this type of system. After the call was completed I was informed that they would honor the contract. Very impressed, they was no problems and they stood behind the contract that I bought.. Hope to continue this service with them for years to come.

They were actually very good at what they were doing. They were on site from early in the morning till about nine o'clock every night. They put in a full day on days that they were out here. The went as far as having a guy level the bottom of the whole before they put the tank in so that the tank would be perfectly level. It was more detailed than I had anticipated and I was impressed with that. The price was in line with every body else. It was fair.
Description of Work: For septic I used All Septics. I believe it got started in April that is when they did the first basic part of the work and then they had to come back in June because they didn't do one thing on the engineering plan. They would not pass inspection until they had put the seal on so they had to come back and seal the boarder line.

All Septics assessed if our septic system was functioning properly or not, tested the chlorine level and checked to see if it required pumping. Our system did not require pumping and was running well. They did a fine job for a fair price. I recommend them to everyone.

It turned out fine. After I purchased the deal I contacted them quickly and it took about a week to schedule it. The guy who came out seemed professional and sharp. He did find some additional things that were needed. He got some septic wiring up to code by securing it, adjusted a pump, and replaced a few sprinkler heads. I felt that the improvements he made were reasonable. The Big Deal includes three visits in total.

I bought the Angie's List special service contract that All Septics was offering. It wasn't 30 minutes after the purchase and I received an email from All Septics requesting info to set up our account. Within an hour all the paperwork was finished and we had an appointment scheduled for our first inspection. On the day of the inspection, their representative called about 30 minutes before the designated time telling my husband he was on his way. He arrived on time, inspected and explained the details for the system, and all the do's and don't's. My husband was very impressed with his knowledge. We're looking forward to working with All Septic's professional team this coming year.

They said what they were going to do and did what they said. I requested that they make additional upgrades. They cleared the changes through the county authorities and made the changes. In the process they discovered that the system wasnt installed per the original design which i verified. The suggested upgrade was closer to the original design. After finding the discrepancy it was clear why i was having problems in the first place. They went the extra mile.

The guy who came out was Dan, he was very professional and I enjoyed his communication. He quoted me $6900. He even called me back and reached out to another gentleman that did the design at the city, talked to him, called me back and told me what he said. He basically did things above and beyond of what he even needed to do. He has been awesome. He found a septic system that was cheaper, called me back and told me that he had found one cheaper but that he can get a bigger one if I wanted for $100 less so he went above and beyond.

After noticing the amount of water that was coming out of the septic sprinkler heads was a lot less than I have noticed in the past I call Dan, at All Septics, and explained the problem that I was seeing to him. He said that he had a couple of ideas of the problem could be and was available to come by the next day. We agreed upon a time for the following day and she showed on time. Within no time at all he had determined what the problem was, what it would take to correct the problem, and gave me a fair & reasonable estimate. I found Dan to be a very honest, knowledgeable, great customer skills, and a hard working person. My Cajun Aire Aerobic System is 14 years old and he did not give me a hard sell to replace anything unnecessarily. Dan's company, All Septics, did not have a pumping truck to pump the sludge out of my system but suggested a company to me. Dan called Northside Waste Water Systems and they were at my house within a couple of hours to pump the sludge out of my septic tanks. As Dan had predicted, once the septic sprinkler head filters were cleaned out and the septic tanks pumped out my system was up and working as normal. If you are looking for a company to sign a yearly maintenance contact with or needing repairs on your septic system I highly ... highly recommend All Septics. You cannot go wrong with this company. I also highly recommend Northside Waste Water Systems that pumped the sludge out of my septic tanks. I emailed Dan thanking him for recommending this company to me. Super company & great guys. I found both company's to be very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and great customer service.

The drain field for our 45 year old conventional septic system failed last fall and living on Lake Conroe the SJRA required it to be replaced with an aerobic system. Dan was one of three septic contractors that I called and was the only one to take the time to explain the differences between the two septic system types, how bio mat can cause a drain field to fail, and the permitting and installation process. He was prompt with communication throughout the permitting process and right on time for the site survey. We had family coming in from New York for Thanksgiving who were planning on staying with us. I told Dan this and he penciled us in for the Tuesday and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week. The permits finally came through that Monday morning and after calling Dan he was there that day delivering the equipment and starting the excavation. He worked late Monday and Tuesday night and arranged with the SJRA inspector for Wednesday morning so that our family didn't have to spend Thanksgiving in a hotel. He and his crew were professional and courteous, and didn't mind me watching the whole time and asking questions. I will use All Septics for the maintenance contract on our system and will definitely recommend them to anyone needing septic service or installation. His prices were right on par with the other three estimates I received.

I was doing some research on the internet trying to learn a little about the aerobic treatment system that I was going to have installed on my parent mobile home. I came across All Septics web page and got some good info and saw pictures that showed some systems being installed. I was especially interested in the liquid chlorinator and how much money it saved over the chlorine tablets. I gave them a call and the owner of the company Dan Hartman filled me in on the process and gave me a price. He also set me up with a sanitarian and said I could go ahead and get the required permits from the county and then decide on who was going to put in my system. The sanitarian came out and did the design work and I had the permits within a week. During that time I contacted a few other aerobic installers and decided that All Septics had the best price that included the liquid chlorinator.I called Dan to come take a look at the job and he came out on a Friday evening and moved his equipment in on Saturday and had the system installed on Monday and inspected by the county and all finished by Tuesday evening.I was thoroughly impressed. He had top notch equipment and was very professional and took the time to answer all my questions and explained all I needed to know about maintaining the system. I highly recommend All Septics.

Request made for aerobic sepctic inspection for a weekend date. He said he might come. Unprofessional schedule #1. Didn't show up and didn't call. Unprofessional #2. We worked it out for him to come the following Friday. Came dressed in casual clothes. This is a dirty job and it's a sign he wasn't prepared to do the job at hand. He performed Aerobic septic inspection for our house. The inspection was overall decent. Control panel was corroded. However, I asked him to check the functionality of the float valves since this was an inspectoin. He wouldn't do it. In fact, he assumed we were missing a float valve. However, because we knew from previous inspection there all three float valves were present we knew this was wrong. We lost a little confidence. He was more practical on the mechanical equipment evaluation. We liked his prices so we decided to go with him for the repairs/additions. We scheduled for a specific date. He cancled. It was agreed that he would get to it when he could with no specific date in mind. After a week and a half of no work, we called. I convinced him to give me a date. That morning of that date I called and asked when he planned to show up he said sometime before dark. So, about 1 hour before dark that night, he called and said he wasn't going to make it. Again, a last minute cancellation. This was his third cancellation. I gave him a last chance because we liked his prices and because it's extra work to find someone else. So I offered again, if he could give me a date and a time we would consider it. He couldn't even give a date and time... Postive: Good quoted prices Always responsive to calls Doesn't try to upsell or sell more than required Explains details of inspection and root causes Negative: Poor planning and scheduling Frequent cancellations Not willing to work on weekends

Response from All Septics LLC
On the member's first issue, when he initially called he said that the appointment for an inspection could only be made on a weekend. Because I already had the weekend scheduled with work I told him that if I could come out that Saturday at his specifically requested time that I would give him a call. I did end up working the full weekend for my other already scheduled customer so I was unable to get out to his residence, but I did call him and let him know this and this is when we scheduled the appointment for the following Friday at 2:30. That Friday I called him to confirm the 2:30 appt. and offered to come an hour earlier and they accepted. On the member's second issue of being casually dressed for an inspection, I was. I wore the same type of clothing that day that I wear to all of my jobs. I’m not sure what he was expecting me to wear but I wore clothes that were absolutely appropriate. When I arrived and thoroughly inspected the system I accurately reported on the status of his entire system, including the number floats. I did not just assume anything as the member stated in his report. I also did not refuse to check anything properly as he stated and I even explained to him how by inspecting the system I could tell that the floats that were present were in working condition. As a professional who has done this for over 15 years I know how the different mechanics of a system need to be checked in order to assess their functionality. The same as an auto mechanic doesn’t need to put his hands on a running engine to tell you it’s hot, I did not need to put my hands on the float to tell the member it was working properly. Also, he was standing there and I showed him so he could see for himself that there were only two floats. I explained to him in detail what the function of all three floats are and why it was important to have the third one installed. I was prepared to do the work that day. I gave him a quote for the repairs he requested be done. He said that he wanted to think about it. A few days later his wife called me and said that they wanted to go ahead and have me come out and do those repairs. He stated in his review that he lost confidence in me when I showed him that the third float was not there so I am confused as to why they asked me to go ahead with all the work if he truly believed that the third float was already there. I explained to his wife on the phone that due to my already heavy schedule that it would be a week or two before I could get out there in case they wanted to call someone else who could get to it sooner, but the work requested was not an immediate need situation and the system would continue to work fine for them until I could get out there to address those issues. She said this was fine and would wait. When speaking with his wife I did not schedule a specific date, I told her it would be a week or two. The member even stated in the review that no specific date was set. A week after I spoke with his wife, he called and wanted to know why I hadn’t been there yet. I explained the conversation I had with his wife a week earlier and explained to him it would be another week before I could get to it. He insisted that he couldn’t wait that long so in an attempt to try and satisfy his demands I told him I would come out that coming Thursday. That Thursday he called and I confirmed that I would be there before dark to do the repairs. The job that I was on that day ran longer than expected and knowing that the work for him would take at least a couple of hours I called him an hour before dark to request that we move the appointment to another day. Because I knew this would be an inconvenience for him I offered to take $100 of the already low quote I gave him. When I tried rescheduling with a window of time he demanded a specific time. I tried explaining that a specific time was not possible due to trying to schedule the work around the other jobs I had in progress. He kept stating that nothing but an exact time would be acceptable and if I couldn’t agree to one he would have to look elsewhere for another company to complete the work. Because of this conflict of schedules I agreed and told him that I didn’t think we would be able to do business together and that hopefully another company would be able to meet his needs. One last point, he stated in his report that I refuse to work weekends. The member has no access to my work schedule and therefore no basis to make this claim. I actually work 7 days a week, oftentimes until late into the night in order to get jobs completed. Most of my initial appointments with my customers are made and completed on weekends or after 6:00 p.m. so that I can help accommodate my customer’s schedules. The member happened to have wanted his work done the first time it had been dry in at least three weeks. I had a back-up of installations that needed to be completed that had been waiting because it was raining for the most part of a month. It finally started to dry out. Installations cannot be completed when the ground is as saturated as it was. So all my customers that had been waiting while it was raining had priority and I explained this to him and this is why it was so difficult to schedule an exact time for him because I was so backed up with other jobs at that time. Typically it does not take this long to get to someone’s repairs completed. It just so happened that the timing with the weather situation created a high volume of work in a small window of time. I thought that the member and I agreed that he would need to find a company that could better meet his needs and thought the business relationship ended amicably until I read his report here.

Dan, was professional, courteous, punctual, reasonably priced, and professional. I even signed up for his maintenance plan on my aerobic system since the other company disappeared. He was the best price, he fixed what was broken, didn't charge me for things I didn't need, and was very professional and personable. The only complaint I could even think of was he arrived about an hour later than we had discussed. But things like that happen and I would absolutely recommend and call him again if I ever have the need.
Description of Work: There was something wrong with my control panel on the aerobic septic system. I got a couple of estimates from 3 different companies that I remember. One estimate was was way too much$$, the other one said I needed a completely new control panel... Dan with All Septics was the only one that gave me a reasonable price and went into detail of what he needed to do to fix it (why the whole thing didn't need to be replaced).
