+ 0 moreMarty and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable about the job. They removed the polyurethane (was not for the faint of heart) and cleaned and sealed the tile and grout. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreMartin Sande (owner)and Michael did an exceptional job. They were prompt to arrive, worked professionally and completed all work in a timely manner. The floors had not been restored in about 20 years and upon completion looked clean, polished and like new. I would definitely recommend them for the job.
Description of Work: Cleaning and polishing of two different stone floors (Saltillo and travertine) in entry hall, kitchen, breakfast room, bathroom and up two separate stairwells. Also, storage closet at base of stairs.

+ 0 moreMarty is a miracle worker! He did a fantastic job cleaning and sealing our tile. His deal was very reasonable, and he was very upfront regarding any additional costs (we wanted to know about the optional grout color-sealing). We decided we wanted him to color-seal the grout and we are very happy with the result--our tile looks like new! Even with the added charge for the color-sealing, the cost was very reasonable for over 400 square feet of tile.

+ -1 moreThey did a FANTASTIC job cleaning all post Harvey demo and construction dust and paint. I never could have gotten my floors as clean as Doggone Good did in my lifetime. I would clean, but I wast just mopping sheetrock dust everywhere and not ever cleaning. I had about 1300 sq ft of tile floor to clean. They were careful and precise. I loved their work, Marty’s knowledge was great and the work was worth every dime.

+ 0 moreThey were punctual and very courteous. If I could give this higher than an A I would. They moved furniture and appliances with no scratching of the floor. Cleaned everything thoroughly, out drop cloths down so the rest of the carpet wouldn't get dirty. They were fantastic!

Description of Work: I needed tile and grout cleaning and sealing. I purchased this through Angie's List deals. I emailed them the first day and then called and left messages. I also called once and spoke to a man, who assured me that he would call me back. A month passed and I never heard from them. I contacted Angie's List, but since I had not contacted them in time to get a refund, I was only able to get a deal with a different tile man. He has been very prompt, coming to our house to look at the job I needed done. They are scheduled to come on Friday to do the cleaning. Unfortunately, the kind of cleaning I need is not covered by the special, so I'm still out the original payment. However, this company seems to be willing to work with my tiles, so I will happily pay them for this work. As a side note, I do not plan to use Angie's List specials again. Prior to this problem, I had purchased time with a handyman. Someone came out and did the work, but was not pleased about my having paid through Angie's List. He grudgingly accepted the deal.

Price for additional area was fair. When asked about additional services (sealing all surface, not just grout), they suggested would be not worth the added expense, so I appreciated the honesty.

Description of Work: We needed our kitchen tile floor grout cleaned and sealed, which was more in square footage than the "deal" so we had to pay extra for the entire kitchen (not unexpected since we were sure that the square footage exceeded the deal footage.

The work was done as described. Marty and Michael even helped move the heavy furniture back into place. And it is beautiful!

+ -1 moreMarty, the owner, and Michael did a great job. They spent extra time trying to remove the sealer that had began to peel in the kitchen. As advertised, they first went over the floor with an alkaline cleaner, , let it soak in, scrubbed it and then used a machine for deep scrubbing and vacuuming up the water. Blowers were used to final dry the floor. Extra elbow grease and a scraper were needed in the kitchen to remove the old sealer. I did not want to go in with a chemical stripper. That would have been a last resort. They did seal the grout lines to complete the job. Carpet and wood floors were protected with drop cloths near all work areas. When they left the tile looked brand new. Marty also provided some tips on maintaining a cleaner floor. Will use Doggone again if we need to.
Description of Work: We needed to have the kitchen and bathroom tile floors scrubbed and cleaned. Kitchen tile had been sealed and picked up quite a bit of dirt over time.

+ -1 moreMartin and his team were awesome. I was in a rush to get this done, they were able to fit me in their schedule fairly quickly. I always got a very quick response to any questions or inquiries I had from him. They were right on time and were very detailed. They did not rush to finish the job and that is very typical of a lot of contractors. The quality of work was great and the tile looked as new. They were able to take even sold old paint stains out. Doggone has definitely won a customer for life and I would not hesitate recommending him and his team (which was also great).
