It didn't go, They are lousy. Choose Coastal Fumigators, Inc. Their phone number is 713-863-7378. They are more cost effective and will actually come do the job. Also, if one is foolish enough to use Bevis, get comfortable -- they never show up before 10;00 a.m. Perfect for somebody who has a night job -- not so great for people with day jobs.
Description of Work: Bryan Springer the owner of Bevis Pest Control came highly recommended. He came to the house and droned on and on about how much experience the company had. How he sits on state boards. I guess it never occurred to us to ask "are you actually going to do the work?" A month later, reserved and cancelled hotel rooms; reserved and paid for hotel rooms we simply gave up on them and fired them. On the last day, we were told that the crew was at the house tenting it for fumigation. When we arrived at the house around noon to check the progress -- no trucks, no crew, no tarps, no ladders. They simply walked off the job.

Fumigation is a process to rid a structure of drywood termites. A crew of six people from our Company wrap the entire structure in fumigation tarpaulin (tarps). It takes approximately 24-30 hours to complete the service. When tarping a structure, certain environmental conditions must me met. No rain, average temperature above 50 deg. and no excessive wind due to the fact that the large tarps act as sails. Too much wind is a safety issue for our employees as well as the potential failure to control the pest. Bevis Pest Control contracted with Mr. [Member Name Removed] Atty to provide fumigation service to his tall, three story home. It was explained both verbally and in writing that certain weather conditions must be met to perform the fumigation service. Three times his fumigation was scheduled and our crew arrived at the job site ready to perform the service. Unfortunately, each time the wind was in excess of what we considered safe. Each time [Member Name Removed] was informed of this while we were on the jobsite. It was very unfortunate that the weather conditions on the scheduled days made it impossible to complete the fumigation. To be clear, our fumigation crew was at the jobsite each scheduled day and wind conditions prevented us from completing the fumigation. We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused Mr. [Member Name Removed]. It was not our intention to disrupt his scheduling. I am proud of the fact that Bevis Pest Control is celebrating it's 70th year as a family owned business. This type of unfortunate incident does not happen often. I wish I could control all factors influencing our work- but I can't. We do not like re-scheduling work because of weather either. Bryan Springer Bevis Pest Control

It went really well. Steve, I believe was the inspector, was really thorough and informative. He answered all of my questions. I appreciate his honesty regarding the recommendations he made. I will be using Bevis Pest Control for additional services. I definitely recommend them.
