Terminix - Texarkana -Termite & Pest Control

You always want to make sure if they're coming out to deal with insects, that they don't come back for awhile and that the job's been completely done. I guess you always keep looking at whether that's true. My wife's saying they did a good job. They came when they said they'd come.

I have a contract with them. When they come back out there is no charge to redo. They even planted the little termite thing-a-ma-jiggies in the ground that has little green tops on them. They change that every once in a while. I have had to call them back. We also have recluse spiders and stinging scorpions. They have come back, I don't know how many times, to redo the whole place. They do a good job. I am never going to be without them as long as I live here.

There service is fine. The only problem we've had with them was they were suppose to let us know before they would go out to the little farmhouses they service and they never let us know until after the fact. Other than that they are fine.

They sprayed very well and got rid of centipede and they took care of rats. They did not came out for their regular job so we have started to do the job ourselves. They came twice in three month and then stopped coming.

Removed dead trees, cut branches and removed years of garden debris from yard--required to disassemble and move 30 yo aluminum shortage building. Had to remove furnishings from room ruined by years of roof leaks.

They showed up when they were scheduled. The tech was always pretty curious. It was costly and that's probably the one drawback that I have.

I asked the exterminator for a copy of the contract before he began treatment. I had been told that he would arrive with it. He did not have it. He explained that this was a Saturday, that he had been informed on Friday evening that the job was to be done, and that he had not had time to go by the office and pick up the contract. I questioned him as to the terms of such contracts. He replied, "If that's what he told you then that's what it says." A similar conversation was repeated some time later during which he made precisely the same statement. After he was finished we handed over the check for $1400. Again (for the THIRD time) he stated, "If that's what he said the contract says then that's what it says." The following Monday I phoned the office and requested a copy of the contract be mailed to me. When it arrived I read it and was very disappointed to realize that some significant details had been omitted by the man who gave the bid. We are, indeed, covered for three years FOR ADDITIONAL FEES and for the life of the home FOR ADDITIONAL FEES. Moreover, these fees are, according to the contract, subject to being changed by Terminix at any time. In other words they may charge anything they want to return, and they may do so each and every time they return. To put it shortly we got a one-time treatment for $1400 and were grossly bamboozled by the employee who made the initial survey and gave the bid. After a few hours on the phone with the office manager and then a corporate representative, during which conversations I had to threaten legal action, Terminix has agreed to return my $1400 and remove their traps. I will be satisfied with the resolution when I have the money in my hand, but I must caution those who might call on Terminix in Lufkin, Texas: at least one of those guys who works there is not above lying, cheating, and stealing to rip you off. I presume he gets bonuses, but can't be certain.

No call no show. I had tried again and the same result. i never contacted them again

When I set up the original spring of the house, I was told that a termite inspection was included. When the person came out to do the spraying, I asked about the termite inspection. I was told we had to set up a separate appointment for that. Okay...so I called Terminex and set up the appointment. The woman I spoke to seemed surprised and told me someone was already supposed to have come out. Whoever that someone was never showed up. So we established a new appointment. No one ever came. I called to complain. A new appointment was set up. No one ever came to that one either. I called and finally asked to get my money back. I was promised someone would for sure come out. Someone finally did come out and did a good job. However, three weeks after the initial spraying, we found a cockroach in our brand-new kitchen. The roach was in the silverware drawer! As this is a brand-new kitchen, we know that the roach didn't come from the wood. Spiderwebs begin appearing everywhere. I call Terminex and asked for my money back. I was told that they do have a money-back guarantee. However they expect you to give them a second chance and so we were told that they would come out and spray again. They did come out and spray again and that was just a few days ago. Hopefully, things are fine now. But I won't be using them again.

Sales rep oversold. Technicians could not deliver. Terminated contract and got a refund.

Everything went great. We had a bad scorpion and wasp problem along with seeing a few centapeeds due to the house sitting empty for over one year. They were quick to show up and the issues have diminished greatly. If we see any spiders or bugs the are on there death bed!!!

It went well. We have been using them since last year when we had roach infestation. Now our home is free of all insects, inside and out. the serviceman is thorough and courteous.

Quick and professional. House was inspected and treated within two days of my phone call. Our house is in a rural area and a quick response from any service company is very unusual.

Chad from Terminex is meticulous. He checks everywhere. I make sure I am home so he can spray inside as well. If he sees something of concern, he always gets me so I can see too. I will use Terminex until I don't have a house to spray anymore.

Now that I have a contract with Terminx, they either show up with out calling to to exterminate or an automated phone message calls and tells me when they will be at my house. Today 10-30-2012 at 2:30 pm I recieved an automated call telling me that they will be out to my house tomorrow "Halloween" between 4:00 and 7:00pm to exterminate. I immediately called them back and said that would not work we had plans. The woman that I talked to became very rude. She told me that because I had a contract with them I had to accept the appointment. That I could not reschedule because that was the end of their quarter. The woman went on to say that she did not care what plans I had, because I was under contract I have to accept services when provided. My contract states that I will have one extermination visit once every quarter of a year. I had one visit in July, two visits in August and one visit in September. I do no see why I am required to have a visit in October. The woman was completely unreasonable and when I asked to speak with her supervisor she said she was the supervisor. Lets just say I will find a way to terminate my contract with Terminex and from now on I will use local exterminators. WARNING: DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH TERMINIX

It has been going well and I will use them again in the future.

We never had to call Terminix back out. I will recommend them to family and friends.

They are always on time and are professional. If there is a problem where we needed to have them come out again, they will come back right away.

They are easy to get a hold of and are easy to talk to. They are pretty prompt.

They are thorough. They haven’t changed since they started doing the services. It’s the same every time. They have been real good. If there are any problems all I have to do is tell them and they will take care of it. I there is anything special that I want them to do they don’t have a problem.

The sales person who came out to the house was very nice. He came out on a Saturday which helped a lot as both I and my girlfriend work long hours. When this person came to the house, we asked him to make sure someone will call us WAY BEFORE they come do anything (at the time we did not know that flee bombs require us not to be in the house for a while; we just wanted to make sure we knew when people would be at our house). They did not call in advance. One Wednesday after I got off work, I went to get groceries. I was almost checking out when I got a call from my girlfriend telling me to leave everything at the store and come home because she had gotten a call to go open the door so someone from Terminix could set the flee bombs (apparently the termite treatment had been done that same day on the outside of the house by a completely different person). We were not aware that we would have to be out of the house for so long (we had never had this problem before and are first-time home owners, so we learn as we go). And the person who set the bombs told us AFTER the fact that no one could be inside for four hours. Had we known, we would have asked them to come at lunch when my girlfriend is home (she works close to home and has lunch at home every day). They could have set the bombs after she went back to work and it all would have been done by the time we got back at night. We have 5 pets and keeping them outside in the yard for so long was a pain as the cats are definitely inside animals and we're always afraid that they'll run away if they can't get inside the house for so long. I was also so irritated by having to leave my groceries at the store and by not being able to get in the house, take a shower, eat dinner, you know all the normal things you want to do when you get home after a long day of work. I was definitely not pleased with the fact that no one let us know about this, especially since I had made the initial sales person make notes in his file about letting us know way in advance. Of course the person who actually did the treatment was not able to tell me whose fault it was that he had not gotten any notes about calling us in advance. Was it the sales person who did not completely do his job and passed our request on? We will never know. But we will definitely not use this company again. We ended up going to the movies and watching The Avengers... Not a complete waste of time, the movie was pretty good:)

I got a deal. They're very punctual. They call you when they're coming. I pay online. If you have any problems, they come right out. You can call their 1-800 number 24 hours a day.

They did what we wanted them to do. The price was average. They were here on time.

Walter came out until we resolved the issue. He explained everything which considering my dog and I find important. This was last year and they have not returned.

They are just good people. They do a good, thorough job. They always come out if you have a problem after they have treated. They will come out and follow up for no additional charge. We had them out originally a few years ago. We had mice and rats in the attic. They brought out traps and plugged the holes that they were getting in at.
