BEWARE !!!! RANDY OF SAVERSE PLUMBING!!!! TEMPLE TX!!!!!!!! I can’t let Randy from Saverse plumbing of Temple TX get away with the low level of unprofessionalism he stooped to while working at my house. In August of 2023, he was supposed to add a gas line & I asked him to please be careful with the duct work in the attic and also to always communicate with me if there is an issue. About 11:00am) he is in the attic working we lose air to half the vents in the house in about 110° weather outside. Nobody has been up there in months and the A/C has run cold & strong with no issues until Randy and his helper goes in the attic. When they were finished in the attic, Randy told us when he first went up there, he felt cold air & then splits leaving us with a house that now begins to slowly heat up, how convenient. About 4pm that afternoon my wife starts noticing that the house is hotter than Hades & cannot get the temp down below 85°. Randy is notified and takes no responsibility even though he & his helper was the only one’s up there & the problem began as soon as they were finished in the attic. After his work on the gas line failed with the city, he sent two of his men out to fix the, failure & so I asked them to take pics of the damage to the duct work since they had to go right back to the confined area where they were working. (Please see the severed duct work pics attached). They made an attempt to patch it up but after having to hire a professional A/C company to come & check the entire duct system, I was informed that when they did the hasty repair, they did not repair the inside severed lining of the duct work which is why I was still not getting air. In the meantime, we can’t cook, do laundry, and barely sleep in this hotbox of a house & Randy's not the least bit concerned of the damage he done nor is he inquiring how he can help. Next, they finally do the final inspection with the city on the gas line which consisted of a pressure check. Randy turns off the gas at the tie in too the main line in the attic so that the pressure check does not include the work he did at the tie in too the main line but just up to the valve which was off. Poof, after this inspection he is gone, never communicates with me so I have no idea what was done. Now, he is long gone, I got to thinking about the gas line & how the lever was turned off in the attic & how could they do a pressure check on the entirety of his work which included on the other side of the shut off valve. I call the city, & the inspector was surprised that they had turned off the valve in the attic short circuiting the pressure check on the entire system. His words were “that is concerning, I want them back out there with me (the inspector) to do a pressure check on the entire system,” & the City of Harker Heights gives Randy a call. 10 minutes later Randy from Saverse Plumbing calls me up chewing my a**, yelling & screaming, all offended over me questioning his work ethics. Next thing I know I have this guy talking over me, actually yelling over me & I couldn’t calm him down. I tried 3 or 4 times to say, “hey we are getting off track here” - “hey let’s back up a little” - “hey I think you are misunderstanding.” After he unloads on me, THE CUSTOMER! I tell him I am going to make him understand that I am a customer & that I am calling the city back to tell them how he responded. Then he screams “oh is that a threat, are you threatening me”!!! God help you if you are elderly & have to deal with someone who has no customer relation skills and thinks bullying is the key to success. I am busy & had to leave work early in order to find another gas company, warn my wife to not let Randy or anyone from Saverse Plumbing near the house (I don’t trust them), & had to write this review. I don’t want to have to do this, but I am not going to let this happen to someone else, I could tell this was not Randy’s first time huffing & puffing at someone, this is his go to when he doesn’t get his way or if you don’t submit to his tactics. Bottom line is, unless you want your property damaged, your requests to go unheeded, left with multiple bills for repairs & stranded in sweltering heat, worry about your house blowing up, & then spend your precious time hunting for another company to come back & do what should of been done right the first time, & then get an a** chewing for asking a question, then don’t hire Randy from Saverse Plumbing of Temple TX. >>>> Trust me, you will thank me later.
Description of Work: Needed a gas line put in from side of the attic to the other.

Very well. I have used Saverse Plumbing several times in the past, and I would not hesitate to use them again because I believe they are dependable and do good work. I also believe their hourly rate to be somewhat on the high side (but, on the other hand, cheaper labor may not buy you the good quality of work David Saverse provides).
Description of Work: Over the past couple of years I have used Saverse Plumbing 2 or 3 different times for general plumbing work. They added two bathrooms, added some outside faucets, and did some septic work. I was happy with all of their work.

The job went well and there were no problems. He was responsive and timely, and did the job in a reasonable amount of time. He is not as cheap as some plumbers, but he does good work. His hourly rate has gone up over the past couple of years (more than the 2013 review still reflected on Angie's list states), but so has most everything else. I recommend you call and discuss your project details with him.
Description of Work: Had him reroute some outside water pipes and add a couple of outside faucets. I have used Saverse plumbing before and David does good work.

In every case the work was great. David is dependable, does outstanding work, and treats his customers right. His pricing seems reasonable at about $80.00 hourly. I highly recommend Saverse Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.
Description of Work: I have used David Saverse Plumbing 5 times over the past 2 years on 5 different projects. I have been restoring an old farm house in Bell County, and I heard about him from a local friend who recommended him. I used him to first rough in the plumbing and later hook up the completed equipment on a full bathroom we added to the old house. I later used him to re-plumb the master bathroom, and to plumb a small powder room addition. Finally, I used him to relocate the laundry facility, and to install several outside water faucets around the house and the barn.
