The workers did very well and concentrated on the work that needed to be done. We even had heavy rain on one of the days they were working and they still managed to work well. They covered the roof when it rained and finished the job.

Great... Courteous professional service and quality workmanship. Not the cheapest bid we got, but went with them because of their reputation. We're happy we did.

We had a concrete patio slab and wanted a cover built. We hired a contractor from craigslist and after giving him 50% down as he required, we were left with a skipped out contractor and out alot of money. He did one days work and did more damage than good. We then got many new estimates to fix and finish the job and most of the contractors focused on what was done already rather than what needed to be done for us to have a patio cover. Ron Bickel came in, evaluated what needed to be done and confidently bid on the project. The estimate was professional, quick and thorough. His crew came in on time, did the job without delays and left the job site cleaner than when they arrived. The work was done right and we are very satisfied with how it came out. Nothing was a hassle with Ron Bickel and he made our project exciting rather than burdensome. Thumbs up to Ron Bickel Construction. Will use his services again on the next project.

Very professional. Expert roofing team. Said new roof would be done in one day. It was. Team worked to almost 7:00 PM and got it done. This was second roof replacement done by this company for me. Looked like a good job, Well respected roofing Company in Temple. Usually has a waiting list.

He was great. Prompt, polite, and knew what he was looking for. Sealed the crack with some sealant, no charge. He explained that sealing it works most of the time, however if for some reason it leaks again, he quoted how much it would be for him to replace the vent. It was awesome to have someone who wasn't all about how much money they could milk from the situation! I will definitely be calling him for any further roofing needs.

I've used them about 20 years ago and they were fantastic then and they are fantastic now. They're very punctual. They get in here, they do the job. You talk about clean up, they were immaculate. They came in and tore off the old roof and cleaned up the mess. They took a little break. They just did an awesome job. You can't beat the price and they're all very polite, well-mannered people. I spoke with David Bickel and he did the estimate for me and then after the work was done, Ronnie Bickel came out to make sure I was pleased with everything. I have recommended them to anybody and everybody I know who needs roofers and I will use them again.

The Ron Bickel Construction crew did an outstanding job installing a metal ceiling in the addition I'm adding to my old farm house. The finished metal ceiling gives the place a great country look. The finished seams and overlaps are smooth and even and I am very pleased with every aspect of their work. I am happy to recommend Ron Bickel Construction and Roofing to anyone seeking the construction services they provide. I will definately use them again for my future construction needs.

It went fine, we just decided to use somebody else only because of the bid that was given. My impression with them was favorable. He was prompt. He came out, looked at it, talked to me and discussed it. He answered all my questions and gave me a fair and prompt bid.

Ron Bickel Construction came out twice to quote on the job- first to bid on a more extensive remodel (including garage door/opener, replacing lattice with siding etc.) and then, later, for a downsized project to accommodate our changing budget for the project. The price quoted was fair- probably not the lowest price available, but they presented themselves in a very professional manner and it was evident that they would do a very good job on the project. We agreed to the job on a Friday and they performed the work on the following Monday. I was bidding the job for my step-daughter and had to travel about 30-minutes to meet contractors. Even so- sometimes I had to wait to meet up with the companies bidding on the job. In the case of Bickel, however, they arrived early and were waiting for my on both bids and, later, they beat me to the house when the work was actually performed. Although the work was performed by employees, Ron Bickel personally did the Quality Control on the job- which gave me the impression that he valued my business, even though the job was "small" by most project standards. The job took approximately 6-hours to complete. My step-daughter was very pleased with the results. During the framing of the carport, an exterior lighting fixture had to be moved and re-installed. That evening, we discovered that the lighting fixture (on a photo-cell/motion detection sensor) was not operating correctly. I called the company and they quickly agreed to have someone look at it. They worked around my step-daughter's working schedule (she is a nurse with a variable work schedule) and actually performed the work on a Saturday to accommodate. The light is now working correctly. It is apparent that the company backs up their work and is careful about preserving their reputation in the greater Temple/Belton, TX area. At the time of bidding, I was not a member of Angie's List- so I used the BBB listing (A+) and local recommendations to identify Ron Bickel Construction as a candidate for bid. Now that I am an Angie's List member, the reviews seem to echo what I had heard locally about this company. I would recommend that you include this company as you proceed through the bidding process.

Included new slab and room. Extended existing roof. Included all electrical, tile floor, (2) ceiling fans, 6'0" french exterior doors, paint and trim. Mike and crew were very professional, prompt and did excellent work. Will recommend Ron Bickel Construction to all.

I got a bid. It was too incomplete, needs details. I will continue to solicit bids from builders/roofing companies.

am very pleased. set this up to be done without my attendance (& work was checked). to grade punctuality - this job was only based on time expected. (as conveyed), they ran a bit later perhaps an hour, but again, attendance & timing was set up as loose by me. no debris left & no additional fixup (that contractors sometimes initiate-like this gouge). their price was very fair & work was very good. i'd recommend them.

I called Mr. Bickel. He came out and gave an estimate. I said yes. He did the work and I paid him. It was all very good.

Laborers arrived at time stated. Worked diligently and consistent. Removed old shingles and felt. Replaced with new felt and new shingles.

I called on a Friday to schedule, and was able to schedule the following Tuesday.Workers showed up on time; completed job and total cleanup in one day. Mike, the job foreman, returned the next day to inspect the job and insure I was happy before I paid for the service.I will definitely call Bickel Contruction for future jobs (I have a remodel in mind).

He was fine. Afterwards, there was a little leak and he came by right away and fixed it and we have had no problems since. We are happy with the service we received. We would use him again if we need his service.

The job cost me $2,500 on the job. He is the only roofer I have ever used; he is very good. I would use him again in the future.
