 + -1 morePositive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I honestly recommend Hogan fence company to any one who is seeking professionalism, honesty and perfection. Steve Hogan did a great job replacing my old crumbling fence two days earlier than scheduled. He removed the old one and neatly stacked it for me. He worked on the fence by himself for three days and was done (150+ ft). Mr Hogan was very respectful, considerate and prompt. I am extremely satisfied with the work he did. Also, the price was very reasonable.

Description of Work: Steve Hogan did an excellent job in spring 2016 installing a simple field fence on my undeveloped lot. Every fenceline was absolutely straight and tight, the corners were properly braced, and the 10' gate was perfectly installed. His workmanship reflects high standards, and I felt that his price was a very good value as well. I am very happy with this extension of my backyard! In 2017, I called him back to work on my old privacy fence. Several posts were leaning badly, and he set them straight again so they are stronger than ever. Only one post needed replacing, which saved me money. Later when one more broken post was discovered, he came that same day to replace it. He accomplished the work quickly, and at a very reasonable price. Steve does outstanding work and was so friendly and understanding of my budget. Now I can finally look forward to getting the old pickets replaced!

 + -1 moreSteve worked with our somewhat eccentric requirements for a mimimalist deer fence, while convincing us that some elements just had to be made stronger. We accepted his very reasonable bid. The work was completed in 10 days, and was done to our complete satisfaction. Within a month we experienced a violent windstorm, during which a large tree limb fell on the fence. Steve very kindly came by to inspect the damage and repaired it at no charge. We found Steve to be knowledgeable, industrious and punctual. He also has a good sense os esthetics, which is important in his business. We will call him if we do any more fencing.
Description of Work: Built a 90'X90' welded wire deer fence in our back yard near Austin.

 + -1 moreSteve replaced a privacy fence for my elderly mother, he was very conscientious about the work and performed it all by himself. Steve jack hammered most of the post holes and installed treated posts 2' into the ground. He culled all the pickets and installed what appears to almost be #1 grade pickets and used stainless steel nails. He also was very concerned with keeping neighboring dogs out of my mothers yard during the process. The fence is installed very straight and true. Steve finished well ahead of his estimated time and his bid was very accurate.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced 267' of 6' cedar privacy fence with two walk in gates.

 + -1 moreSteve worked by himself on our fence job, which meant it took a couple days more than it would have if a two or three person crew had completed the job. However, the attention to detail was extremely high. Since he worked alone, this attention was applied to every aspect of the process. As a result, our fence is as straight as an arrow. Steve hand selected every picket and post to ensure the highest quality possible. (He rejects about 50% of the boards he inspects due to flaws.) This fence is going to last and look good for a long time. *We decided to use Steve after looking at a fence in our neighborhood that he had built six years ago. Once we saw his work, we knew he would do an excellent job. We were right. If you are looking for quality and have an extra day or two for the job, Steve is the guy!
Description of Work: Steve tore down and hauled off the old fence materials before replacing fence posts and building a new cedar fence.

 + -1 moreSteve Hogan gave us an accurate estimate and explained all the work involved. To save some expense, I removed the existing wire fence and cleared the brush myself. Steve offered advice and tools for me to remove the existing steel posts. He dug all the new post holes (in very rocky soil, using a jackhammer most of the time), and set the treated posts 2 feet deep, making sure the concrete covered the bottom of posts as well as the sides. The fence is straight and well-built, including a carefully cut out opening for a large tree branch. He finished in slightly less than the two weeks he estimated the job would take.
Description of Work: Installed 450 feet of 8-foot cedar fence. Used 57 treated posts set in concrete, 171 2x4x8 stringers (3 per 8-foot section), and 982 cedar pickets. Used stainless-steel nails.

 + -1 moreFence was built with an amazing attention to detail. Every board and plank are perfectly straight, posts are not going anywhere as they are sunk down deep and cemented. He also traveled to over 3 different supply stores to make sure the planks were the best he could find. Overall it was a great experience.
Description of Work: Replaced our fence and our neighbors. Posts where sunk down over 3 feet, so the fence is super sturdy. Also had an extra large double swing gate installed and two other gates as well, old gate was hauled off.
