JJ Services And Septic Service LLC

After calling at least four septic repair companies, a friend suggested I contact JJ Services. I called Mr. "JJ" Jones, and he actually answered! I explained that I sometimes had standing water in my field. He said he could meet me at my rental later that day and to text him the address of the property. I forgot to text the address until after I had gotten off work. I wasn't sure if he would be able to meet me. After receiving my text, he called and said he would be able to meet after all. After checking the system, he told me I probably had a leak and/or the drain field was getting to be over-saturated. He asked me questions about the system I couldn't answer, but he was patient. He stated that he would need to dig to find the exact issue. I felt like that was going to be expensive, but he said he would keep me posted as he found issues and not perform any repairs until he go the 'OK' from me. We scheduled the job two days later. I couldn't meet him at the property when he started, but he did keep me informed and sent me pics. Since the septic hadn't been serviced in years, I had multiple problems. He found one hole in the line, and properly secured the electrical plug for the pump. He stated the field seemed small for a duplex and asked if I had the septic plans which I did. But, I forgot to leave the plans at the property. Mr Jones came to my office to pick them during the job. After reviewing the plans, he realized I had two drain fields. He then located and replaced the valve to change fields. He noticed a second hole in the line close to the valve which he repaired. Next, he switched the fields to let the back field dry out. He gave my tenants his business card and told them to contact him directly if they noticed any issues with the septic. This was a relief as I don't live close to the property and would have to relay second hand information. A few days later, one tenant noticed water collecting and an odor close to his patio. We contacted JJ, but he was out of town. He instructed the tenant how to switch the valve to change the drain field. The next day, JJ came out and located the problem which was another broken line leading to the other field. He repaired the line and the system has been working fine ever since. I would highly recommend JJ Services and Septic Services! He was professional, punctual and patient. He answered all of my questions and seemed to sincerely appreciate my business. Most importantly, I didn't feel like he was trying to do unnecessary work and rip me off.
