+ -1 moreThe provider arrived on time. They inspected the house. And, at the end they gave me a quote. Since there were additional work that needed to be done to my patio before the gutter installation, the provider referred me to a partner. The partner promptly came over to inspect the patio. At the end of the inspection, the partner promised that they will send me an estimate. Since I did not hear from the partner, few days later I contacted five star to find out what happened. I received no answer. I waited a week later, I called and left voice messages, no response. I sent text messages, still no response. I think that's very unprofessional and disrespectful to deal with one of their potential clients. They should have at least get back to me.
Description of Work: The provider accepted to come over to give me an estimate for a gutter installation.

Description of Work: They replaced my old gutters with new ones, added screens where there needed to be screens, and added rain barrels. They recommendations about where to get the rain barrels. Even at the last minute they arranged to set my rain barrels and get them connected to the gutters. They were great.

+ -1 moreI called Joanne to schedule an estimate and she was courteous and knowledgable during our phone conversation. She arrived for the appointment on time and spent a considerable amount of time explaining several alternatives, and also listened to our feedback without trying to upsell their services. The installation crew was on time and performed the work accurately and professionally. They did a beautiful job fixing the botched hole I had cut in the top of the rain barrel by covering my mistake and installing a professional connection between the barrel and the downspout. We believe that this additional work was done because they took pride in their workmanship. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

+ -1 moreJoanne was good about coming out when we scheduled. We did have to push the actual work day back one day, but she called a few days in advance and it was not a problem. She, her husband and son were all very friendly and worked hard to complete the work. The result is very positive and everything was matched perfectly and you can't even tell where we had the repairs made. The gutters work well and look great. The rain barrel is also working great. We had contacted three companies from Angie's list and Joanne had the best price. One vendor failed to follow up and the other came out, and wanted to charge a lot to fix the facia. We are very pleased with the work and would recommend Five Star.
Description of Work: Five Star replaced all the old metal gutters, fixed the facia in the back part of the home and installed a new rain barrel collection system.

Description of Work: Used Five Star Gutters to install gutters on my 10 year old home. My overall experience was very good. Punctual, polite, professional, quick and best of all - good value for the $$. They are a small family owned and run company. The wife is the job estimator, the husband and adult sons are the installers. I was very pleased with the installation and the gutters look great.

+ -1 moreJoann came out and gave me an estimate and made suggestions to take care of some problem areas.She also showed me options on colors and sold me on changing the color scheme I had in mind! New color looks great! When I called about rain barrells she suggested I would save money by getting the barrells from the city of Round Rock. She was right! The city was offering them at half the price! Her husband and son arrived as scheduled and worked quickly and efficiently. Truely a family business! Great people to work with. Highly recommend.

+ -1 moreGreat! Five Star had done the gutter replacement part of replacing my hail-damaged roof two years ago and had been attentive to all my requests in the process. I decided recently that I needed another downspout in a location where there was a lot of water coming off my roof in one concentrated area. Five Star was very quick to respond and their price was fantastic. The only small complaint is that they showed up about an hour late after an internal mixup with their staff. Not a huge deal, but I had other plans. Other than that, the work was just what I asked them to do. Thanks, Five Star!

In your last message you left on our phone, you said Saturday was the day you had us scheduled, but you never showed. We waited all day, and we heard nothing from you. Obviously you are too busy with the big job to take care of the little ones anymore. So, remove us from your list, we are moving on.and quot; That's how it went.

+ -1 moreThe 5 Star Gutters installers were very professional as well. They came exactly when they said they would be there two days later. They worked efficiently but not rushed. They answered all my questions cheerfully and seemed to be a great working crew. The gutters and downspouts went up great and I was very impressed with how careful they worked. I would definitely recommend 5 Star Gutters for anyone! They were professional, courteous, experienced, confident and did exactly what we wanted, exactly when we needed it done. And the price was fantastic! It was less than half of other bids.
Description of Work: Joann, from 5 Star Gutters came out, measured and gave us a very professional estimate that was actually the exact final price. The price quoted was less than half of the prices quoted by other companies. 5 Star Gutters is a husband and wife team with 4 installers. I guess that allows for low overhead and a much better price. They installed gutters and downspouts on the 3 sides of the house not done by our original builder. The gutters look great and match perfectly. The gutter and downspout material seems to be very strong and great quality.

+ -1 moreI called 3-4 different companies for an estimate on replacing the gutters on the front of my house. The first company gave me an estimate that I could live with, but Five Star Gutters beat their bid by half. Five Star came out the same day I called to give me an estimate. They didn't ask for a down payment or deposit. We scheduled for 2 days following. They came out on time, did the job in a few hours, accepted my payment and were on their way. The new gutters blend with the house perfectly. When the gutters couldn't be placed exactly as I wanted them, they re-routed them, but still kept it looking all very nice. I am very pleased.
Description of Work: These guys were the best. They responded promptly to my estimate request, didn't sell me anything I didn't need, gave me an outstanding price and showed up on time for the job. I would highly recommend them.

We scheduled the work to take place in two days and at a lower price than the original estimate. The roof replacement was subcontracted. The work was done within the scheduled two days. The contractor worked efficiently and completely cleaned up at the end of the job. I was very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work. The contractor was professional and easy to work with.
Description of Work: Replace roof on house and shed damaged by hailstorm. Paint all vents. As necessary reseal vents.

+ 0 moreEverything went as planned for both gutter and siding services. Couldn't have asked for better.
Description of Work: Joann first served us by putting new gutters around our whole house when we had our roof replaced by Clear Choice Roofing. She and Clear Choice work together when roofing and gutter work are both needed. Gutters are pretty much gutters so it the service that really counts. 5 Star did exactly what they contracted to do at the time they were supposed to do it. Their crew was fast, clean and efficient. We liked their work so much that when I had to have a small portion of siding removed so a plumber could get to the pipes, I called Joann to ask for a quote. She gave me a very fair quote, ($250), and she and her husband came out and did the work the next day. Once again, the work was done in a very professional and timely manner. Would strongly recommend 5 Star for any gutter or small remodel work.
