I contacted Exotic Stone Works which has great reviews on all review sites. Maxwell responded quickly and came over for an estimate. He's very knowledgeable on countertops and helped us pick a silestone material that matches our cabinets very well. Within hours of his visit we received a very reasonable estimate from Maxwell. The actual work started as planned and the countertop guys did an excellent job. The seams are barely visible. During the whole process Maxwell was either present or in constant contact with us to make sure everything goes well. The renovated kitchen turns out beautiful. We were very impressed by Maxwell's expert knowledge and attention to details from the start to the end. We will definitely hire Exotic Stone Works again in the future.

Exotic Stoneworks work was top quality. Maxwell is very much a gentleman, with a calm and friendly demeanor. He is a young man in the throes of expanding his business. I can only say I was extremely pleased with every aspect of our dealings. I am willing to give my endorsement of Maxwell to anyone. Maxwell and his team were very accomplished, detail oriented and clean. No mess to clean up. Plus they were happy and easy to communicate with. I add...the contractors doing the remodeling were very judgemental when first examining his completed work. To a person they stated what good work he had done. They even asked for his name. It will be offered if future clients ask for a name to consider.

This company is top notch all the way. Not only was the granite original and exotic but the installation for everything was better than expected. The tile guys did a beautiful job on rounding out corners for the back splash which gave it a more finished look but also did a beautiful job on the travertine floors. I chose a little more difficult design with a pinwheel look and they were absolutely maticulous with placement and quality. I would highly recommend this contractor. Quality work and a good price. They take pride in the finished product!

Exotic Stone Works is a class act!! I absolutely love my granite. I had been shopping granite from place to place and was tired of the same general stuff everywhere. I am a realtor and see homes every day. I did not want something in my kitchen that I see every day showing homes. I wanted something exotic and original. I found it with this company. Not only was the granite absolutely beautiful and original but the installers were friendly and very professional and obviously knew what they were doing and took care and had great attention to detail. I am very picky coming from a real estate background, I absolutely love my new kitchen. I have been waiting 18 years to do this remodel and so excited and pleased to have it done. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the work is that this company performs. Thank you a million times over for my awesomely sweet beautiful new kitchen.

Everything went great except for two exceptions. The tile guy did not have finish the edge of the tile around the bathtub and we had to come up with the solution. Maxwell did let us know he wouldn't be using that person again, and it all worked out. Also, Maxwell found the plumber who installed the plumbing fixtures but we paid him separately. He apparently underbid for the job, so then jacked the price up on us at the end by charging a ridiculous amount to install the the piece in the bottom of the tub because that wasn't written in the agreement. The actual tile work was quite good except for the detail noted above, and the subcontractor who cut and installed the granite did excellent work.

Maxwell Rucker was amazing to work with! Everything was explained to us before the work started, and he contacted us with choices along the way, even down to setting the last/corner/edge tiles the way we wanted them. His workers were on time, friendly, and I felt very comfortable with all of them in my home. Maxwell stayed in touch with us constantly throughout the process, and he set our expectations so we knew when to expect the work to be complete. The bathroom is beautiful, and we are really enjoying it!

When I first met the owner, Maxwell, I doubted he could handle the work because he was so young. He may be young but he is very competent and sharp. He said he's been involved in building and remodeling since childhood. His experience was evident by how he managed his subs and how the work progressed. Most important were the beautiful results. What I appreciated most were his recommendations of where to cut expenses ie to use plain white subway tile in the shower so that I could afford the uncut cedar planks for the deck. I was also impressed with Alex, his tile man who did a great job.
