It went well. Arrived when he informed us he would. Did all the checks on unit inside and out. Cleaned a/c unit.

Overall pleasant experience. They were quick to respond & professional.

Will never again call this company. I don't appreciate being taken advantage of, or treated like I don't know anything about my house or HVAC.

Mauro removed the covers on the condenser unit and provided me with an explanation (he was clever enough to use his phones camera to reach into the unit, illuminate the area, take a snap and show me the issue) of what was causing some of the problem with my unit. He gave me several options from full replacement of a 22 year old unit, or acid wash cleaning of the coils, to adding more Freon (Band-Aid). They charge $45/lb for R22 Freon which I thought was a fairly competitive price. I was very pleased with the service provided, and the speed at which they responded to my request for service.

They called me the morning of the service and said that they were quoted the wrong price on the part and it would be $175 more than the price they quoted me and wondered if I still wanted the work done. I told them that I would figure out something else, as that was 30% more than they quoted me originally. The tech called me back within 5 minutes and said that his boss would eat the extra cost or go back to the manufacturer and get a credit for quoting them the wrong price originally, so they stood behind their quote. They were there earlier than promised and completed the work efficiently and cleaned up when they were done. The technician was professional and friendly. I would recommend them and use them again.

The technician wanted us to sign up for a service agreement. My thermostat doesn't seem to be working right yet. His appearance was not the best either. We got off on the wrong foot when he arrived, he immediately asked to use my bathroom.

They were very good. They were prompt, professional and I thought they were fairly priced.

Initial tech did thorough job of diagnosing, separate crew did installation. The second crew did leave some trash in my garage and one piece in my back driveway. My system is working great. While looking at system the first tech was doing some temperature studies of my various vents and found the main outflow into my living room was off. After digging in a hard to reach space in my attic, he found why the air in my big vaulted area was never right, the builder never connected my outflow pipes to those vents! They fixed all that for me too. My place has never been this balanced. When the first tech found out I could not get into my attic to change filters, he got permission to come on the first of each month to do that for me.

The tech arrived and immediately started checking the unit. Very professional and courteous.

This was billed as a "tune-up," which implied to me that it would involve actually making maintenance repairs and adjustments (that is, actually "tuning up" my air conditioning system). I failed to read the fine print which apparently stated that the technician is only doing a multi-point inspection. I already had the air condition inspected when I bought the house; I wanted an actual "tune-up." In short, purchasing this service was a waste of my time and money.

It was wonderful. Another company told us to replace 40 feet of copper tubing. Xtreme Air Services’ price was half of what another company wanted to charge. They came out, found the hole, and plugged it in 10 minutes. Matthew Neman was very knowledgeable and professional.

When I called Xtreme Air Services, they informed me that the service fee would be applied to any work done. I received a call by the technician AFTER he had already performed the work. They were to call for approval before performing any actions. I later found out that they did not apply the service trip charge. The service, was $195 to clean out the HVAC drain line, plus the $29.95 service fee. Two hours later, the HVAC stopped working again. Cleaning out the drain was just treating the symptom and not the problem. I had to call back and escalate to a supervisor to get another technician out the next day. The second tech was able to see that the drain pipe had the wrong angle, causing the blockage. I have made my complaints known to the company and not received any refunds for the incorrectly charged items. I would not use this company again, and honestly makes me question the validity of Angie's list as this company has an A rating. This type of company, with dishonesty around the service fee and approval for work charges as well as sub par work, is something I would expect to find on Craigslist or the phone book, not Angie's List. I am very disappointed, this experience with Xtreme Air was a waste of my time and money. ****Update**** After the review was posted, I was called by the company, twice. They listed multiple excuses for the negative experience, mostly blaming the service manager that was there at the time. Not once was there an apology or concern about mine or my renters wasted time. They acknowledged that I was overcharged the trip fee, but told me if I edit/remove my review they would be able to issue a refund. Weather I remove the review or not ( why would I that is essentially paying for reviews and is unethical and illegal is some contexts) if I was over charged that money should be returned. I checked my credit card account before posting this update and no return was made. Any company can provide a bad experience to a customer, it happens to the best of them, but how they respond to that is just as important as the incident itself. Not owning up to the mistake by pointing to a scapegoat and holding my incorrectly charged money hostage to remove my review is NOT ethical and I'm sure there is legal recourse I could act.

They responded very quickly on a Sunday on very short notice. Basically, we woke up Sunday morning to our A/C drainage lines clogged (therefore the system wasn't draining the water and instead the water was collecting in the drain pan, and overflowing!) It was overflowing out onto the roof over our dining room (sheetrock). Matthew arrived appx. 20 min after we called him which was awesome, and he was very professional, polite and knowledgeable! He immediately knew the problem and knew what could be done to fix it and also noticed that our system was not level. He quoted us $750 to re-do everything and the $750 included a brand new drain pan. He quoted the $750 before I asked about a police discount. Once in attic and looking at everything, I mentioned the police discount, which he then advised me that he could do the work for $650 (applying police discount) but that the $650 would not include a new drain pan. Then he said that if we wanted to go with the $750 figure and get the new drain pan, that the $750 would be with a police discount..... when previously he said it would be $750 (before he even knew I was interested in police discount).... So pricing went from $750 to do everything needed to $750 with a discount.... so that was a little confusing. Basically I don't think I got a discount when their website says they offer police discounts. We decided to go with the $650 price and kept same drain pan since the safety switch was being installed. Overall work performed was high quality and prompt. He came out and provided quote on Sunday 04/13/14 and services were performed 04/14/14, so very short notice. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable, as stated before. Two minor things that I also thought were odd, although I did not receive the discount, their police discount is only 5%, most places offer 10% (which is fine its their business they can offer whatever they want to offer) and when he came on Monday (the 14th) to "fix" everything, he was only there for maybe 30 min to an hour (according to my son, who was there at the house while I was at work). So with that being said, I think the pricing is pretty expensive for something that is, what I would call, a "quick-fix", if it can be fixed within 30 min. Again, pricing is up to the company and I agreed to the pricing for them to do the work, and I'm sure it would have been around the same price for any other A/C company to do what Xtreme did, I guess I just wish that services like this were less expensive, and I'm sure many homeowners in the world would agree with me. The work done came with one year warranty. I am pleased with their services and haven't had a problem with my A/C so far. I will most likely be using them in the future for all of my A/C needs.

Unit is old but worked fine until shutdown. Heat exchangers were without cracks. He politely pushed getting a new unit because ours was old. All the unit needed was to have a small tube taken off and the sensor cleaned out. That fixed the problem and the unit started right up. I appreciated the overall honesty of the tech. He could have told me anything but he was truthful. He said I needed to replace the exist venting and said he would get the pricing for me BUT I never heard from him again. Bottom line my house is worm in cold weather. Finally, glad I was in the attic with him and his asst. through the total process. He charged $75.00 for the service call and cleaning out the line...Nothing was replaced just cleaned out the line. Important thing is the heater works.

There were no troubles with scheduling and they arrived on time. They came in and cleaned the sensor that needed to be cleaned. That was reason that my heating unit was not working properly. The technician had suggested that we may want to have new thermostats installed at a later time. Everything went well! I have had them come back out to adjust my thermostat. The heat would kick on, run for a bit, kick off, and then kick back on. He explained that the thermostat is located closest to the front of the house and the thermostat was basing its reading from that part of the house instead of being located in the center. The technician who came out explained that since the thermostat was not in the center of our house, it would not take care of the issue. I appreciated that he was honest and did not try to sell us new thermostats that would not solve the problem.

The young man who came and gave me an estimate was very knowledgeable courteous and prompt. The work was done the next day. They arrived later than planned because of problems in getting the units, but worked into the night to get it all done in one day. The house is old so It was more difficult than thought to be. They worked hard and were very polite and considerate. I would definitely recommend them and/or use them again.

Came quickly, and fixed problem for cost of the service call. (2) Problem with Air Conditioned. They responded quickly (for a hot day) and replaced a failed part -- cost $200 and change. Stayed and outlined partial and complete replacement options for very old system. They have been quick and straightforward, and they are my go-to provider.

No service was provided but, I was concerned about the company giving a fast busy signal each time I called.

I asked what was included in the service because the coupon description was fairly sparse. It sounds like they check several things and lube or oil un-sealed moving parts. I think this is really a marketing program as they give you a list of things they think you need to do to get your system as effective as it can be. In some ways that is good but when I mentioned I have a home warranty on most of my rental properties, the conversation changed. In talking to Joseph, I understood that they don't want to honor this if I have a home warranty on the house. He said I would need to get the $89 service and they would fully document with pictures their recommendations. He said home warranty companies don't like them coming out because they like to patch vs. do the best job possible. He said he had a customer with a home warranty cancelled because they came out after 15 years. I suspect what really happened is the home warranty contractor didn't agree with their assessment. I'm not sure I would trust these guys. If they don't honor their coupon, something is off. I can see where some HVAC firms would have different ideas on how to solve a problem, patch and keep it running at lower cost vs.a full system replace or somewhere in-between. It sounds like these guys are going to push the more expensive repair jobs. I've had home warranties for 14 years with several different companies. They all encourage maintenance of the system and I've never had anyone complain that I had a company other than them come out and do it, as long as they were licensed and Joseph represented they were.

They have a great price, and did great work. They are very personable people.
