+ -1 moreThey were excellent. He did a very, very good job. He had excellent workmanship. He showed up when he said he would and cleaned up when he was finished. It ought to be given that people do good workmanship but the last painter I had was not near as good as Fred.
Description of Work: Fred Bell's Painting did 2 painting projects for us a year ago.

+ -1 moreHe showed up on time every day and worker diligently. He kept floors and furniture covered so there were no drips or spills. The work was perfect -- no runs or drips. After he finished the living room and started on the kitchen, we found a small crack in the living room that still needed some work. He did it cheerfully and completely. There are no negatives to using Fred.
Description of Work: Fred did a wonderful job. At first we thought his estimate was kind of high, but other painter was 15 percent more. He did a very complete and professional job. He patched holes and cracks so that the walls looked better than new. He kept everything clean and neat. We hired him to paint the living room, but he did such a great job we asked him to just keep going and do the dining room and kitchen. We highly recommend him.

Description of Work: We found Fred on Angie's List, and he promptly came to our house to look at the job. We are moving, and needed to fix/repaint most of the trim work in the house. Fussy work mostly. He was so professional arrived on time each day, and the work was stunning. Most "painters" will tell you they are pros, but it was obvious that Fred knew what he was doing. And CLEAN! Not a drop spilled anywhere, steady hands, and respected our house floors and carpets. Definitely an A+ and we're keeping him in mind for our new house.

Description of Work: Painted my dining room from a dark red to a white, making sure that there was no "bleed through" of the red color. Painted my interior hall way and touched up several places in my home prior to putting it up for sale. He was prompt, thoroughly professional, and cleaned up each day as he finished his work. In 2011 he painted the trim on my outdoor patio cover, stripped and repainted with the proper paint a custom made metal fence around part of the patio, and touched up several places on the outside of the house, such as the front door trim. NOTE: I have reported my experience with Mr. Bell to you earlier and it has been posted. He continues to be extremely reliable, reasonable in cost, VERY knowledgeable about paint and techniques of painting and does a first class job. I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN, FOR BOTH INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PAINTING.

+ 0 moreMr. Bell removed the old caulking around bedroom windows in two rooms before he re-caulked the windows and then painted both the sheetrock and wooden sills around the windows. He was careful to spread dropcloths on the adjoining furniture and floor, and finished the job quickly. He arrived promptly at the time he promised and finished the job in the time he had promised.
Description of Work: Caulked and painted window sills and sheetrock around the edges of windows in two bedrooms. Made certain that he used paint I had that matched the color used earlier.

Description of Work: Fred painted the entire interior of my new home (empty when work was done). He repaired window sills and sanded areas that needed it prior to painting. All work was done with precision. Doors were sprayed and turned out flawless. The work was absolutely above expectations. Fred is very professional, straight forward and honest. He is truly an expert at what he does and is very pleasant to work with.

+ -1 moreFred Bell is an excellent painter! He is very professional and friendly. He arrives on time, works hard while he is there and does a fabulous job. He is very neat and cleans up each day after he is finished. His estimate of the time needed to complete the work was accurate. He is very good about pointing out differences in paint types to provide the desired effect and utility. This is the second time Fred Bell has done painting for us and we will continue to use him for all our painting needs. Fred Bell also did some exterior work for us in matching the stain on an extension of our fence. The result was great, as expected. I have recommended Mr. Bell to several friends and they have had great results as well.
Description of Work: We purchased our home in January, 2006, and many of the rooms were painted different colors that did not suit our decor. Mr. Bell has done painting for us previously so we called him for an estimate to paint 80% of the interior of our new home. Mr. Bell arrived on time and took measurements and asked questions about the type of paint we wanted to use. He provided an estimate by telephone that was within our budget. We paid half of the cost up front so he could purchase supplies and then the other half upon completion. The work consisted of walls, trim, ceilings.
