Dave came a week earlier and arrived very promptly to give us estimates on the work we needed done. He was extremely friendly and seemed knowledgeable about the things we needed done or knew someone to suggest for the things that he didn't feel confidant tackling himself. His prices seemed reasonable and when one of the prices seemed higher than we were hoping to pay, he was willing to work with us on the pricing. On the day that we had the work done, Dave and his assistant arrived and, after verifying what was to be done, they got right to work. I appreciated how they stayed on task and didn't waste their time or mine. The entire time that the work was being done, Dave would check in with me and make sure that I was happy with how things were progressing. The work was done in a timely manner and, so far, worked out just fine. I am still waiting a bit before using the sprinkler system as I want to make sure that everything has had time to dry/set. The next day, Dave gave me a call to make sure that everything was still working out okay and that we were satisfied with the work. He assured me that if anything wasn't right, he would come out and fix it. The following are the estimates that Dave provided for the work we needed done. An * denotes that we had the work performed. We plan on having him do the rest of the work in coming weeks. *Minor tree trimming- $35 *Capping sprinkler heads- $25 *Range hood removal- $120 Installation of french doors- $175

Dave is a character. He knows what he is doing and is very professional in all aspects. We had him install three ceiling fans. I called him on Friday to set up a meeting time, he told me when. He showed up exactly when he said he would which scored big points with my wife. One of the fans turned out to be a little more difficult to install electrically so he had to bring in an electrician. Yes the electrician did charge me extra but Dave did not charge any extra for the second visit. We are going to have him back to do some drywall work in the near future. Overall we were happy with our experience.

He came out as planned, and returned two more times to help me finish things. I had shoulder surgery and was unable to do things myself. I could not have finished the list by myself. He helped me pick put materials, and promptly fixed things. He is truly a blessing. He does excellent work! I would recommend him very highly to anyone.

The work went well. Dave and his assistant arrived at my home about 10:30 on the 16th and began work immediately. As he finished each task, he asked me to inspect it to be sure it met it my approval. He was polite and thorough. Dave wants new business through referrals, but he also wants to maintain his current customer base. Therefore, he returns all calls promptly and values each customer's business. As a small business owner, he knows that word of mouth and positive reviews are what provide him with a steady stream of clients. Before he left, he reminded me to review his work. Apparently other customers have told him they will provide a review, but some failed to do so.

Was able to get to me within a few days of initial contact. Did excellent work. Very polite. Reasonable rates.

Dave is a hard worker. I thought when he arrived, he was going to give me a quote, but he was prepared to work. Before he began, he gave me a verbal quote. I told him I would pay him half now and the other half when he completed the rest of the work. He still has to clean my ceiling fans and portable fans, but he said he needed to bring a helper when he returns. I have him scheduled for 9/25, which is the next available day he can work in my home, due to my upcoming vacation, school starting, and other scheduled appointments. He will bring me an invoice when he returns. Dave is likeable and wants to please his customers. According to him, he's been on Angie's List for about a year, and is getting enough customers to keep him busy. Note: There is an error on payment options. Dave takes cash or a check, but he does not take credit cards as the ad states.

The fence was falling down and the wrought iron gate latch was broken. He and an accompanying workman did an excellent job of repairing the fence. On one side, he was able to re-cement existing posts and repair , added new latches and locks. They did the work in a timely and professional manner and I am highly satisfied with the result. I have had several neighbors compliment the appearance of the fence, the quality of the work and stop by to ask for his contact information. On the street facing side of the fence, the entire fence was replaced. I appreciated his working with me to minimize material costs for this job and to use existing materials where practical and feasible. There are other repairs that we have discussed and have plans to complete in planned stages. I appreciate his willingness to work with me on this. Cost was definitely a factor about which I had concern. The price was fair and I am very pleased with the quality of the work and selected materials. I can recommend this provider without reservation and would definitely use his services again.

Mr. Roundtree was awesome. He came to access the job before he made the actual appointment of service. Both times Mr. Roundtree was on time. He is very polite and professional. He did a wonderful job! I will definitely be using Mr. Roundtree for all my handyman tasks. I will also refer him to my family and friends!

I was initially skeptical of hiring Dave to work on my door because there was only one other review written about him. I did call three other places, and Dave was the first to respond and provide me with a quote. The other handyman never responded, and the third complained that I lived too far away. On the day of the service, I was home alone (female), so I was a little worried about having a male working at the house. However, Dave was nothing but professional and a gentlemen. He said he would be at the house between 9:30 and 10:00. He showed up a few minutes after 9:30 because we live in a confusing subdivision. I was a little surprised that he brought someone else to assist him, and although I expected it, I suppose he should have mentioned that he was bringing a second person. However, Dave was very respectful and kept me informed of what he planned to do, and he gave me updates throughout the day. Dave did all of the talking, and he and his coworker got right to work. He answered all of my questions. The work took all day because the lacquer had to dry, but Dave was not malingering during the in between times. All-in-all, Dave was chatty and personable with me when I expressed an interest in talking, but when I had to go do other things, he would tend to the door. There was alot of hurry up and wait, but I was not worried about Dave lingering around. He worked on the door, then went out to his car to wait for it to dry. Dave was a really nice man and genuinely concerned about doing a good job. The door was really weather beaten, and Dave has it looking great! If I had to make any negative comments, I would say that they left behind some small lacquer splatters on the floor and walls. But, in his defense, I did tell him "not to worry about it". It was getting late and I didn't want to bugs to get into the house. He left me some paint thinner and showed be how to clean up an splatters. I KNOW that if I were to of called Dave back the next day to clean the very small splatters, he would have gladly come back. He takes pride in his work, and I am very happy with my door. I am going to attach some before and after photos in hopes that you will be able to see how bad the door was beforehand. I will definitely call him for other odd jobs.

He came right on out despite it being the weekend. I bought the supplies, but he installed everything in 35-45 minutes. He cleans up behind himself and doesn't leave a spot of dirt when he is leaves.
