Dave arrived with his assistant Carlos. They moved some things out of the way. Put up the bracket, installed the TV, and put the things back. All in about an hour. Friendly, courteous, professional quoted a price and stuck to it. He and Carlos will work for us again.

Great work and service. He did a great job fix various items in my house for a full day and come back to fix the remaining ones, and he did some extra ones I didn't initially put there as bonus. Great price, great service, I like it.

I went very well. Dave and his employee Carlos were very professional and very nice. He did everything I asked for and then some. Great prices also! I will use him in the near future to paint my daughters room.

Dave responded to my call and we set a date. He brought a helper and together they did the repairs within an hour. Dave went to Lowe's to pick up weather strip plates, and I reimbursed him the cost (under $20). I was pleased with his service. Dave was great! I called him and he came within a half an hour. He was professional, kind, and reasonable. I will definitely be using him again for any small projects around the home.

Dave did a great job. We communicated several times ahead of the time when he was scheduled to come so that I could have supplies/parts on hand. He agreed to pick up the materials for the sheet rock repair.. He provided me with a ball park estimate of the cost after being shown all the projects and came in very near that at the end of the day. He brought two helpers, so they were able to perform all of our tasks within about 6 or 7 hours. He had to make a couple of hardware store runs to get specific items and I just reimbursed him for those. It's very hard to find someone to perform all of these tasks, usually it requires more than one contractor. He and his helpers were very friendly and helped gather up all the trash and clean up at the end of the job. Dave's flexibility and ability to do various jobs is both cost effective and efficient. Will definitely call on him again! Highly recommend!

Dave did an excellent job on a large list of "honey do" items. The repair and painting of the sheet rock where the old A/C unit was were first-rate. The placement of the new storm door required a build-up of the door frame area. This looks very professional, and the door functions perfectly. I found Dave very easy to communicate with. We went to Lowe's together to pick up the storm door, frame wood and various other supplies. I had specific ideas of what i wanted, and i was able to communicate these clearly to Dave without a problem. Dave and my husband worked together on cosmetically repairing the decayed end of a large piece of exterior wood. I was very pleased with the final result. The re-routing of the dryer vent took some ingenuity. The result is exactly what i wanted - the vent goes where i want it to and i can clean it easily from outside with the shop vac. I found Dave easy to get in touch with by phone. We also communicated by text which i found very useful for confirming appointments. His helper, Charles, did a lot of the painting. Charles was easy to talk to and took a lot of pride in his work.

I called Dave last week and told him what I needed to have done. On Tuesday morning abut 9:30, he called, saying he was on his way. He comes from Sugar Land, and I live in southeast Houston close to the Hobby Airport, so his drive was quite a long one. After he arrived, I showed him what work needed to done upstairs, and he began to work at once. After an hour or so, he finished the job. When I went upstairs to check on it, everything looked fine. I congratulated Dave on his Super Service gold award, and he stated that I was one of his early customers whose review had helped him get this award. I also told Dave that I appreciated the fact that he was willing to accept small jobs, unlike many handymen who are looking for large jobs so they can make a lot of money. Several on Angie's List are in that category. When I emailed one, he stated he already had enough work, and when I called one or two others, they didn't even bother to return my call. I am so thankful for men like Dave who understands that there are small jobs that customers need, but they don't want their home renovated. Thanks again, Dave, for being polite, hardworking, prompt, and willing to accept small jobs.

Various fix it type of items. Very polite, honest guy.

All of which he did well. A couple of items he said he couldn't do himself but would recommend someone that was able to do it (removal, sanding and relaying of bricks in courtyard and a rock wall that needs some repairs).

My husband and I enjoyed working with Dave and we are trying to plan out our next job for him!

.Every thing went very well with yesterday's job. They arrived promptly and finished everything quickly. I recommend him highly for general repairs and handyman work. He is prompt, trustworthy and reliable.

Repaired collapsed ceiling from water damage. He reinforced ceiling and brought a second man to assist him. He brought in painters to finish and paint the ceiling. We paid for all supplies. Didn't cover up furniture in room despite buying plastic sheeting for him. He did attempt to clean up but I still had to do more afterward. He's was punctual and a good communicator.

Before hiring Dave, I asked him to provide an estimate of labor cost because I do not like the idea of paying by the hour. Dave provided a cost estimate based on the work I wanted done, before starting the job. He gave me the list of materials he would need and asked me to get them ahead of time. He did miss out on certain items for which I had to go back to Home Depot couple of times. Dave executed the job skillfully, with diligence, and cleaned up after the job was finished, to the best of his ability. I have been my own handyman for many years, so I can tell when someone is doing a good job as opposed to just find short cuts to get by. If you are looking for a Handyman for odd jobs, as opposed to large projects, I would recommend David Roundtree.

He was reliable, puctual and accomodating. His prices were fair and he did not add on extra costs without my consent. The quality of the work was great in terms of big projects (replacing the trim on my garage door, replacing the vent cover on the side of my house), but a little lacking with the smaller projects (repairing a faucet handle in my bathroom, he glued it rather than finding a replacement part). The faucet works, but it is not really repaired to the way it was. Not a huge deal. He also left a mess on my patio where he replaced by outdoor light fixture. But that was easily remedied. Overall, I was pleased and would use him again for larger projects.
