Dave and his team showed up on-time and provided great service at a reasonable price. I am scheduled to have him out again to install a few plumbing fixtures.

We have a rental property in Houston and couldn't fly there so we've been relying on Dave and his handy men to take care of nick knack problems. He picked up parts from hardware store. We asked him itemize his service every time and he's happy to do so. We're very please with his service and professionalism. This is the third time we hire him and will continue do so in the future. We're having problem finding a reliable and affordable service like his here in Miami.

My husband and I were very impressed with Dave. He was punctual, knowledgeable, thorough and polite. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

It was our first time using Dave Handyman Repair & Services. We had a positive experience with him. I purchased the supplies (new faucet in our kitchen, new door bell, and material/parts needed to fix our leaking toilet). Dave and his assistant were punctual and professional during the entire process. We were happy with the work that they did. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable (had to improvise a couple of times when installing the faucet in our sink and door bell). Approximately 5 months later after helping us with repairs in our home, happy to say that everything is still working well :) If I could give feedback to help improve Dave and his business in the future is to get a assistant that will help him with client appointments. I could see that he's very busy because, he would get numerous phone calls when he was doing the repairs and working on the job. Maybe, this will free him up from answering less important calls (like client inquiries/appointments), unless of course it's an emergency or urgent calls. Thank you again Dave for helping us!

He called to inform me the person who would arrive and start the work and he came shortly afterwards to introduce himself and oversee what was being done. Everything went fine. I have schedule them again to complete additional work, as I would use them again. Communication was the best though. All my questions were answered, the prices was fair and the men were friendly.

I contacted Dave Roundtree on 01/27/16 to have two attachment hoses removed. He was working on other projects at the time and said he would be able to do the work on Monday. I would have liked to have had the work done last week because one hose was leaking, but he was busy. He called before he came out and said that he would be at my home in an hour. Once he showed up he looked at the problem and explained that he would need a part to complete the work. He went to Lowe's and then returned with the part and a helper. They were able to quickly remove the hoses and put on caps where the hoses had been. I was just glad to have the work done. I was tired of having to soak up the excess water. I have used Dave's service in the past for various issues and he always does a great job. I have already discussed a future projects with him, so I will be calling him again. Update: 02/04/16 I noticed that the area where the cap had been installed was leaking. The leak was discovered on the same day that it was installed. I called Dave the next day and he said he would be there in the afternoon to look it over. He told me to call him about 1pm to confirm the appointment. When I called he said he wasn't able to make it out that afternoon or the next day either. Finally we agreed on Thursday morning. Again he wanted me to call to remind him of the appointment. I called and he said he would be there between 8:30 and 9:45 am. So that time came and went and I heard nothing from Dave. He didn't even call to say that he was running late, he simply didn't show up. I feel this behavior is very unprofessional. I used his services in the past and I have been happy. This is the first time that he needed to return to fix something that he had supposedly already fixed. He does a decent job with repairs, but if he has to return you may have a hard time getting him to fix his error. Also I made the mistake of providing a view for him immediately after he left my home. For anyone reading my review, please make sure you are absolutely happy with the work before submitting a review. LIve and learn.

Dave and his crew come on time, repaired several dry walls and paint them. Fixed closet doors (three) and paint them. One another day, the electric guy come back to install a electric outlet in the pantry, also a light bulb in the closet. They are very nice, but light bulb installation could be done a nicer way, and some stuff left unfinished (he may forgot). This is the first time I use a handyman service, no comparison. Overall they are good.

Very professional on the telephone. Arrived the next day on time. Reviewed the work site and explained to me what had to done, quoted price and agreed on service. Enlargement was done and all framing replaced. Stairs installed and adjusted to proper height. Area was cleaned and all tools and material removed. Will use him again for my handy work.

They were here somewhere around December 16th. He charged me $75 just to fix a leaky tap. I looked at his reviews and he had a lot of reviews on an A+ rating but I think that when it came to the plumbing that he had to do it was just a tap that had to be removed and replaced but I'm not sure if he was that great. Because he didn't have the tools and he was trying to like figure out what to do. He figured out how to do it and went to Home Depot and took some help and then came and fixed it but when he came and he promised to fix the doorbell and I don't know like he just left after fixing the tap, he was like call me again and I was like okay. He never looked at the doorbell. He couldn't even fix that and he would do the tap but I think he was like done, like done for the day kind of. He was a nice person but I don't think he knew what he had to do. I would give him 50% because he did show up on time and he did try to do the work. I'm not sure how much the charge is to have something like that fixed so I'm not in a position to judge it. He didn't clean up, he didn't do anything, he just said you know I will let you clean up so that you can see if the tap works fine. He was responsive, that is the reason I went with him but it took me awhile to get an appointment.

Dave and his sub-contractors worked tirelessly until the job was completed. There was a lot of details work involved and our bathroom looks great!

Very good. Dave oversaw the work, and paid attention to the details on his own. He also went and bought the weatherstripping materials while Roy got started on the work. Finally, he was able to match a competitor's price and give me a good deal.

My husband bought the new light fixtures and then we called Dave Roundtree for an estimate. He was able to come over the next day. After giving me his estimate, he left and came back Mark and their tools 30 minutes later. It took them 2 and 1/2 hours to remove existing fixtures, assemble new fixtures and hang them. It all went well. I did not have them clean up afterward because there wasn't any mess. They did put all the boxes and wrappings together for me. I will use Dave Roundtree Handyman service again.

Dave did a speedy job of fixing both doors. They are no longer a struggle to open and I can lock the deadbolt and the handle now. He maker sure I was happy with the results. I will definitely be using him in the future.

Dave was such a nice man to deal with. Came to give me estimate on time and was able to do the work within a couple of days. I hired him to fix some shoddy work by another contractor. Was very happy with his work and will use him again.

It went very well. Dave was very professional, organized, on time, highly communicative, and fairly priced. We wish we could have found him earlier. We will definitely use him again in the future.

He does quality work! He works efficiently, showed up early, and stayed until the job was finished. They cleaned up after themselves and provided all their own supplies. They're able to do both small and large jobs, and have a very quick response time.

Dave has earned my respect. Unlike many handymen who promise and don't deliver, Dave comes thriugh. I had waited until the holidays to do some "spring cleaning," and I called Dave a couple of weeks before. Dave came out on a Sunday and we discussed the job at hand. I then called him a week - 10 days after, and we set on a date and cost to do the work.. He sent his man out, and while two were supposed to come, only one showed up. That was fine with me, because although the work went slower than expected, the workmanship was very good. Although I never saw Dave since the first meeting, his man "covered" for him, doing an outstanding job. would only suggest he meet with the customer at the end of the job to answer any questions and ensure complete satisfaction. But it went well, and I'd use Dave again for his services in the future.

He was outstanding. He knew how to do the work and he did it very quickly.

Dave arrived right on time. He looked at the job and presented me with a fair cost estimate. Dave's worker got started on the job while Dave went to Lowe's to gather additional supplies. Dave and his workers were polite, friendly, and completed the job in a timely and professional manner. I will definitely use Dave again the future!

We hired a handyman some months ago who charged us a 90 dollar trip charge in addition to his normal hourly fee. Mr. Dave did not charge a trip fee. He also only charged by the jobs he did versus hourly pay. His price was about half as much as the other handyman that we used previously. He has a great personality and would not rest until the job was done to our satisfaction. He was extremely easy to work with. We plan to hire him for any of our future home repair needs and have already given his contact info to our friends and family!

When I called Dave, I was in a desperate situation. Someone had broken into a vacant house that we're trying to sell and we needed to make the repairs that same day in order to secure the house. At first Dave told me he couldn't respond that same day but after I explained the situation he agreed to move his schedule around to accommodate us. Within 1 hour he was at the house inspecting the damage and letting us know what materials to purchase for the repairs. He didn't make the repairs himself, instead he called someone else who responded promptly to make the repairs. All-in-all, the repairs were done in about 1.5 hrs and though the quality of the work could've been better, I was grateful they were able to respond so quickly.

Dave came about 1 hour later than our estimated time to give me an estimate of $425 to replace my crown molding, baseboard trim and paint my dining room as well as my front door trim. Dave indicated that he would not be doing the work but instead would be sending a qualified painter named Daniel R. that had alot of experience painting. On the day of the job, Daniel shows up to the job about 2 hours late because he forgot he had court that morning and got lost coming to my house. Once at my house, he had bought the wrong type of trim so had to go to store to buy another piece. By this time he was already 3 hours late to start. Once he started, he did a horrible job covering my tile and got brown paint drops all over my tile as well as on my crown molding. He also did not paint all the areas above the trim and left paint drips in some areas on the walls. I will have to hire another painter to re-do the entire dining room. He also said he felt sick and threw up on my front porch twice and thus was not able to complete the job in 1 day as promised. He left in a rush and did not clean up his mess or the paint splatters all over the trim, floor, or crown molding. He also left scuff marks on my brand new door that I emphasized that I wanted to keep clean. Finally, when we checked our outdoor faucets the next morning, Daniel had left our water hose running all night long for over 12 hours after he cleaned his paint brushes. Our entire yard was soaked. I would never recommend Daniel the painter but Dave did exhibit great customer service by trying to make things better. Dave did compensate me the next day for the extra water bill I will get next month from the water leak as well as offering to clean all the paint splatter drops all over my dining room but I would still never use this provider again.

Dave came with Mark. they were both very courteous, prompt, efficient and friendly. They explained what they were doing and always looked for an inexpensive yet efficient way of completing their work. they were were very transparent with their fees beforehad (no hidden fees after completing the work...which happened to me a few times with different handymen). They both got the work done promptly. I asked Dave about two other problems or rather projects I'd like to do in the future and he gave me his opinion with no additional charge. He also provided an estimate (which was really competitve). I would definitely hire him to do those projects in the near future. It is so refreshing to hire someone who makes good on their promises of professionalism and workmanship. Thank you Dave! NG
