They did a great job helping me move to my house! I recommend them for anyone planning to move.

They did an excellent job, they finished the move faster than expected, they packed the truck very well and were very careful with all of the items, nothing was damaged.

The people who showed up to move us were not at all professional and were disorganized. They didn't know what they were doing, had a rented UHaul, and damaged many items of our furniture. They didn't take time to wrap anything and dragged our couch across a concrete driveway. Then they damaged wood floors when moving into our house because they were slamming furniture around. They also did not put anything back together. They left fast food trash laying on the ground outside my house as well. I contacted the owner a few hours into the move to let him know what was happening because I wanted to try and remedy the issue. We paid him because he said he would file to have everything fixed. We still have damage to our couch and broken furniture that was not reimbursed. It was very stressful and a horrible experience.

The guys were fantastic , helpful and even courtesy to stick around to pick some other stuff from a different location in between , they made sure everything fit in the storage even if it seemed a little tight for space. There were three guys and they reviewed the place then made a plan and distributed the duties amongst themselves, it took them a couple of hours to execute and took care of every aspect of the move from survey, dissemble, pack, load, secure, offload and then eventually off load and store. I would highly recommend them and use their service again when I move to our new place in the future. I wish them goodluck and hope they continue to do the good job they are doing. Great company! The scheduled movers got t-boned by a red light runner on their way to my grandparents house. Thankfully, they weren't seriously injured but of course, could not do the move. Ali, the owner, had to ask 2 of his employees to come in on their day off to do the move. So the move started a few hours later than scheduled. What made all this okay is the fact that Ali kept me updated on what was happening. He let me know when he found some guys to come, when they arrived to pick up the truck, when they left and the movers called me when they were 10 minutes away. Ali's professionalism and concern for his customer was fantastic. The movers, Kevin and Rick were wonderful. They moved fast, wrapped everything securely, and were very professional and so sweet to my grandparents. Overall, I was very impressed with AFA Movers. I would absolutely use them again.

The crew argued with each other the entire time. Purposely left furniture in first location that I said we're priority just so they can make a 2nd trip. One mover in particular was not working most of the time. He took frequent smoking and just because breaks, so only 2 we're consistently working but they were very slow. I spoke to Ali the owner and he didn't charge me a 2nd trip fee, apologized for his workers but said I will have to pay for the additional hours they worked. The Movers complained that everything was too heavy, they bashed their boss saying his friends wrote the positive reviews on the company's website, he doesn't pay right and equated their JOBS and treatment to slavery. The entire ordeal was terrible!!! What should've taken 3-4 hours took 8 hours!

From top to bottom, the owner and the movers all showed Curtis he patience and help me get my move done. There were several obstacles along the way that were not expected and they were patient with me all the way. They even cared enough to understand my situation and help me with the pricing. If I ever move again these guys have my business for as long as I'm in Houston. By the way I don't put ratings very much at all. AFA movers were unbelievable and an amazing blessing to me today thank you guys from top to bottom despite the heat you guys work your butts off thank you !!!!!!

I used AFA Movers today for my home move and here's why I'll hire them again: - they came on time - despite the close proximity to my new house, the movers took their time to extensively wrap all my furniture. Nothing was going to crack my furniture! - when the rain came down, they waited for it to stop without charging me for the extra time - my furniture was reassembled and arranged exactly the way I wanted in my new home. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from AFA Movers today. I will definitely recommend them to my friends!

I can not say enough good things about this group. They called me 30 minutes prior to arriving. The minute they stepped inside they were ready to work. I had a crew of 3 men. Very respectful and very very professional. They were fast and efficient. I have some very expensive equipment that they shrink wrapped in blankets and had every piece of equipment protected very well. They were very careful with everything. I did a walk through with my colleagues the same evening and did not find any damages or any scratches. My expectation for the job to be completed was around 12 to 15 hours simply based on how much stuff i had to be moved. This crew had the whole move knocked out in 7 hours. The owner also did a drive by to make sure everything was going smoothly which is also a nice touch. I had shopped around for about a week before I decided to give these guys a shot and am very happy and satisfied with the service that was provided. I highly recommend their services.

Ali was very professional as was his crew. He returned my call the same day and arranged for the move within 3 days. His crew arrived on time and used carpet protection; they also used padding & shrink wrap to protect furniture items. They carried boxes by hand until we advised they could use dollies to make the work easier. As move was out of town I drove them to new location. Driver was very cautious and parked at new home so as not to damage grass. Movers placed items where directed and were very careful not to damage door jambs when moving. Price was reasonable and Ali was happy to add additional services without change to quote.

Very professional and VERY reasonably priced. Will definitely contact AFA Movers again for all of my moves. Highly recommended to anyone in Houston looking for an excellent, efficient moving company with unbeatable prices.

I recently moved and AFA was a tremendous help. Moving can be extremely stressful, but their professional courtesy helped greatly. They were respectful and got everything done in a timely manner. I would highly highly recommend them in a heart beat!
