My lawn has never looked so good. They prices are fair. It's nearly a hundred degrees outside. I water my grass twice a week, and it is bright green. They don't have a specific time frame. They give you a day. Typically in my neighborhood they come between two and four in the afternoon and that's usually when they arrive. I know the guy that does my treatment. They send the same guy all the time. They're very knowledgeable in their craft and very personable.

I would highly recommend them. I like the results.

I have a year contract with them. I will continue to use them.

They have been doing work on my yard for the last 9 months. They just do fertilization and do nothing else. I only choose them because they offered a plan.

The services went fine. I've had other services and I guess they're about the same. I've been using them for awhile, so yes I plan on using them in the future.

This review is for Trugreen out of Spring, TX. We had Scott's before and were very happy. Since Trugreen bought Scott's, the service and quality has been terrible. We have weeds we never had before. The tech came out on a day it was raining and sat in his truck until it quit raining. When it stopped, he got out of his truck for 5 minutes ( I have a large yard) and left me a bill for $150. After 8 phone calls requesting to talk to a manager and several messages left on a manager's cellphone, I have yet to receive a call back. As of today I cancelled both of my Trugreen accounts.. I highly recommend anyone but Trugreen. They don't care if they lose the business. You can see in the attached pictures that it was raining while he was at my home and what the yard now looks like.

They always leave a note if there is more work and they have a checklist and go through and ask we noticed that this plant is shivering do you want this shrub serviced.

And only because I've used them once before in other town and they burned up my lawn, but here I've had no problems and they make repeat call if you need to and they don't charge you for them. Around sixty three dollars every three months.

I thought the pricing was high. I would recommend them.

After 3 weeks, numerous phone calls, apologies for shoddy service, being bounced around from one rep to another depending on which city answers the phone, I have yet to talk to the local office, or get service. Today's (10-2-14) call resulted in speaking to a person in Austin who gave me a conflicting story to what another tech told me last week regarding the requested specialized tree service. He said he would refer my call to the local (Sugar Land) office. ..... again! No one seems to be able to communicate why the service hasn't been done, yet a statement of charges dated 9/18/2014 was sent.

In short, this experience was miserable. It has nothing to do with the fact that some weeds are stubborn and I am unhappy. It has everything to do with their failure to provide promised services, there lack of responsiveness, false promises & inability to provide reasonable service to the property as committed. I have had numerous lawn companies over the years and this is by far, the worst experience I have ever had.

We have a contract with them so they come to us regularly. There was a time that they did not come. They said that they were there, but they were not. They gave us a date, but nobody came.

They do a beautiful job. They always call first to make sure someone will be home. They are also very prompt.

I have had an annual contract with them for other lawn services and so on, so this is kind of an extra service that they did. I spent $81 with tax. I think the price was reasonable but like every service it is tough to know how good a job they really did. In this case, I would give them a and lsquo;B'. Actually, I would not use them again. I am going to stop the contract.

We ended up wanting about $50 for each procedure. Some months they do one thing and sometimes they do two. I am probably going to discontinue just because it is so expensive. They do anything that could be done. They do a good job, but it is just expensive. I was having problems with the fungus in my yard, and they took care of that. They are good about telling me if I am watering it too much or not enough and things like that. I may use them again, but I am going to probably try fertilizing and stuff myself. Having used them for about 2 years now, I will probably take a break for a while and see how it does with me getting to do the grass cutting and fertilizing.

Scotts Lawnservice Houston - Spring Scotts Lawnservice Houston - Spring, does our lawn continuously. They fertilize and treat for insects on the bushes and lawn. I had stopped for a while, then the lawn was looking bad, so I went back with them. They helped so we kept them. We get a written update by mail and online, telling me if they see a problem, or something I may need done, they also send me my bill online, which is helpful. They do well, a good job. They leave me a message on my phone to tell me they are coming, which is helpful. Always on time.

They had a special: $45 every six weeks ($450/yr). Was told by sales person that they would do everything we needed for the $45...fertilize, weed control, aeration and they would automatically come every six weeks. We thought it was a great deal. They came two days later to fertilize, but we had also asked for aeration - we were told it is different lawn tech. We got the $45 bill and waited for the other lawn tech. After several phone calls over several days to find out what the hold up was, he showed a week later, aerated and gave us another bill for another $45. We called to find out what was going on, since that is not what the sales person told us. We were expecting to pay $45 every six weeks and we were told "He shouldn't have said that." and that we were still responsible for paying. I was promised a call back from a manager, which never happened. We cancelled the service. Initially, I was going to give this company Fs all around due to lack of responsiveness, misrepresentation and extremely poor customer service. But after I wrote a LONG letter of complaint detailing our experience to the local office and copied the corporate office, the regional manager called (not the local manager who was supposed to call earlier). He apologized, gave us a refund and promised that changes would be made so this didn't happen again. Very nice guy. Customer service is everything and businesses must understand that if they want to do well. We would have been fine if they would have stood behind their salesperson and said something like "We're sorry, that's not the way the plan works, but we will refund you for the second charge you weren't expecting, but just know going forward the charge is per treatment." If they would have simply done that, this would have been a non-issue. I'm splitting the difference for overall experience rating, since it started out good, got really bad, then they made it right. And yes, I'd use them again, because even after the one treatment of fertilizer and aeration, our lawn looked much better.... but it's just too dry right now. But if I used them again, I now I have the regional managers cell phone number if there are any other issues.

It is OK. It is not sensational. They contact me both by e-mail and phone when I have an upcoming service. Their communication is good. They always show up on the date they say they are going to and always perform the service. I’m not sure that it is worth the money I am paying. That may be a function of the economy but it seems to be expensive. There are no serious problems but I do not recognize the value always. It is going well for now. I am moderately satisfied.

It turned out just fine. The lawn looks great. They showed up when they are supposed to. If not I get a phone call letting me know. It is seamless.
