Sugar Land Premier Roofing is AMAZING. Not only is this company professional, they are friendly and a dream to work with! I recently bought a house, the sellers accidentally crushed a gutter while moving out. I instantly thought to call Cristian and his dad, because they do quite literally everything🙌🏼 They were able to come out the same day, give a quote & fix it a few days later. The Elizondo’s are very friendly, professional and know how to get the job done. Truly an amazing company- I HIGHLY recommend!

I ultimately went with another contractor. But I wanted to leave my experience here since I use reviews to know who to call. I called because I saw a roof tile blow off my roof, and another appeared loose. It was obvious from the front. Otherwise, no interior damage nor leaks. It appeared to be a simple project, but I wanted professional feedback. I have to give them 5 stars for the effort. They were the first to respond -- around 5 min after I messaged -- and they offered a same day appointment. The inspector appeared to do a thorough job -- looking in the attic, and accessing the roof from the backyard. I did want to share that you will need more than an hour. The person making the appointment asks when you and your spouse are off of work, which was a hint right there. I've never been asked that, and thought it was unusual. I did let them know that I was working from home and have a toddler, so I don't have time after work anyway. I blocked out an hour. Unfortunately, the inspector came almost 30 minutes after the hour. I understood, being that it was a same day appointment. And they let me know he was running late. After an hour of inspection -- and repeated attempts at small talk, which started to feel intrusive -- he was ready to give the proposal. But I had a conference call, and then toddler bedtime. I asked for the proposal to be emailed to me. Every contractor I've worked with has done this, and offered a follow-up call. But he said that would be doing me a disservice. So after over an hour, I was left without a proposal nor a sense of what was inspected. Which didn't make sense. At a minimum, a repair to the tiles could have been proposed. And note, the inspector didn't notice the loose tile clearly teetering off the front of the roof until I pointed it out. He literally said "oh wow." So how observant was the proposal going to be? If I could improve things: get a sense up front how much time the customer has. If not much time, warn that they may need over an hour for the appointment, or make the appointment more efficient. For example, another contractor (a referral) did the same checks, told me what was wrong, and was done in 25 minutes. He sent details over email along with his number. And he was clearly a hands-on roofer. Hired. Also, I would change how you ask potential customers to call references for a break on the price in return. References usually go in the package with the proposal. The inspector attempted to give me a paper with a list of references before he even completed the inspection. And urged me to call or text them right then. Why, before even seeing a proposal? And with a toddler running around? How would they verify my calls towards that big of a deal on the price? And $50 off per call up to $150 -- how high was the proposal price going to be? Why did I have to make phone calls to references to get a price break? And how do I know these are real references? It honestly felt like I was going to be sold something I probably didn't need. The inspector seemed more focused on sales vs. roofing. The office did call the next day, leaving a VM asking me to call the office. That was all that was said in the message. I did not call back. TLDR: I appreciate the quick response. But the inspection visit was long and concerning, bordering on uncomfortable.

I had been concerned with my roof for months, I even had a couple leaks. I was very hesitant to go with anyone because of prior contractors doing a horrible job. With SLP roofing I felt completely at ease. The communication was on point. Carlos Sr. made sure to answer and questions or concerns I had due to previous unfortunate experiences. His crew was able to replace my roof and left me with no doubt considering his craftsmanship and skill set. I appreciated his professionalism which I’m sure came from being in the marine corps. Will highly recommend.

I can not tell you how happy Carlos and Paul made me feel about the whole experience I was totally stressed out but once they both explained to me the process and that they could positively stop the rain from coming into my home I was sold. Carlos and Paul from Sugar Land Premier Roofing were both exceptional. We were told we needed a new roof, but wanted to get a second opinion. We called several roofers and most just wanted to give us a quote over the phone. Not Sugar Land. They came out, inspected the roof and told us that although it shows wear appropriate with it's age it didn't need to be replaced. They could have easily tried to sell me a roof I didn't need, but instead they were forthcoming and honest. That's hard to find these days. I would recommend them 100%

Very knowledgeable and nice principal of this family-owned business. Gave thorough inspection and proposed a solution. This work was in the area where they had done extensive work before so i preferred to have the same company come again even though it was not a warranty repair in since they would know what had already been done. He promised he would get the info to the office and that the new work would have a 1 year warranty, whereas the original had 6 months. I waited for the follow-up which never came. Even if they were unable to do the work, I was very surprised that these seemingly nice people would not have the courtesy to even let me know. I sent a reminder to the office to say that I hadn't gotten the estimate i was expecting, but there was still no follow-up. I wish I could give them a better recommendation, but I still have pans in the attic catching drips.

Carlos and team quickly responded to initial request for a roof repair. During the work, they noticed we had hail damage, and helped us through the process of working with the insurance company and replacing the entire roof. The entire team was careful with the exterior of our home and yard while they were replacing the roof. They worked quickly and had the job done in the estimated timeframe. And did an excellent job of clean up I would highly recommend using Sugarland Premier Roofing for any roof repair or replacement. Very professional and friendly.

More than one firm had come and failed to follow up with a promised bid. In this case a personable young rep came, looked over the situation with me, and provided a timely bid. While it was higher than that I got from another company for the same work, I chose Sugar Land Premier because I had more confidence in their expertise and the solutions they proposed. Now that the work is complete, I believe that confidence was well-placed. However not everything went smoothly. I was told this would be a 4-6 hour job that could be done on Monday or Tuesday. But it was not started until Wednesday and not completed until a week later. Part of this delay may have been due to the expected weather, although it did not rain, and there was also some increase in scope as we uncovered new issues. The cost increments for the additional work were reasonable. I was promised an itemized summary of the work and materials, and 10 days or so after completion, I have not yet received it. There was no on-site supervisor. Crews were dispatched to my house to do different parts of the job, and occasionally a principal would come by. Workers showed up one Sunday afternoon without warning, which we did not appreciate, although it did expedite completion. The work crews seemed to be experienced and competent, but often did not take as much pride in the final outcome as I would have liked. Trim was being left unpainted, a gap left in the roof tile, and siding was damaged, etc. The major things were corrected to our satisfaction, but there are still a few details that could possibly been done better. There is still poorly matched paint, applied in an uneven pattern, and the placement of seams in some materials does not seem to be optimal. However I believe that we have very good solutions to our various sources of water penetration, and that is what matters most. Carlos and Carlos Jr. were very good to work with, and this father/son team was diligent to try to do a professional job and to earn our satisfaction. I agreed to accept a $100 reduction in price before work began for promising to write a review, and this is my honest input. I would use this team again.

My plumber recommended Sugar Land Premier Roofing to fix a leak around the vent of our water heater. They responded quickly to my call and promptly sent someone out to inspect. They fixed the flashing and even repaired a back splash on our gutter. After the job, they came back to inspect the work, which will be guaranteed for 6 months. Very professional. Which should be expect, but they were also courteous and cool. I liked that they are a family business. Will definitely use them again.

The company was very responsive and the person in charge came quickly to assess the roof and gave an estimate. Things were also explained very clearly. The workers came on time and finished the work quickly.

My experience was better than expected. Cristian arrived right on time 👍🏼 and was very polite and professional. He correctly diagnosed the problem after just seeing the ceiling water damage around the chimney. He took photos, showed me the problem, explained the cause, then told me how he would fix it and went back up to repair it. He came back down with photos of the repairs and explained how he repaired the flashing. He said that should do it and since it was a minor problem, there was no charge, no need for any costly repairs. What a lovely surprise. Thank you so much! I will definitely call you again and be referring y’all to my family, friends and neighbors.

Carlos arrived promptly on the same day I called and checked all the vents. He was very professional and told me that the sealing on all my vents was fine; however, he did find a shingle(s) that needed to be re-nailed. He did this and did not charge me anything. Carlos JR came out on time and assessed the leaks on my roof. He was able to fix the leaks same day for a price better than the other quotes I received and was much more professional than other roofing companies I had come out here. I can’t thank Carlos JR and Sugarland Premiere roofing enough for the great work they provided. They seem to be a company that strives to give good honest work at an affordable price. I am very satisfied and I will definitely use them again if I need to. I also recommend them to anyone looking for good honest roofing work.

Sugar Land Premier Roofing fixed our leaky roof in less than 24 hours! They answered our phone call immediately and came out the next morning and did not charge us for fixing the leaks which was the best customer service that we have experienced. We are recommending them highly to our friends & family.

Sugar Land Premier Roofing did an impeccable job from start to finish. They did a great job communicating with us on the process of working with our claim. They did a great job on our roof and in a timely manner. Great price but more important great quality job. I will use them again in the future and highly recommend anyone to use them.

Sent a request for service through Angieslist. Carlos Jr showed up on time and was very professional. Noticed that all I needed was some cork around my heater stack and had no roof damage. Carlos Jr sent one of his employees to handle it right away for little or no charge. Did not try to recommend other jobs or over sell the job. Great company. I will definitely use them again.

Carlos came out and diagnosed the problem. He recommended that he caulk the areas where water could potentially get under the sunroom flashing to see if it could be easily fixed. He did this st no cost and recommended I see if that would resolve the issue without doing extensive work unnecessarily. Arrived on time, was very professional and took pictures to demonstrate the issues.

Overall, everything went well and Carlos, Jr. made sure a high quality end result was achieved. Since this was a two day project, I was a little surprised that old roofing debris was left on the ground overnight but it did not negatively affect the quality and everything was completely cleaned up when the project was complete. I am very pleased with the care they took in locating all issues in the leaking area and I am confident I received a long term quality solution. Other contractors working on other parts of my Hurricane Harvey recovery have also commented that the work looks very good so that helps me know the work was excellent.
