Description of Work: Rewired a plug, took a wire off switch plates so people would not turn the TV on and off. Checked my sensor light outside and increase it so it would come on properly.

Description of Work: They bid 1200 dollars over my lowest bid, out of 3 never went an further.

Description of Work: They came out to do a project quotation and also to check to see if a pool circuit breaker needed to be installed per our inspection of a house we bought. Turns out that a breaker was not needed; was still charged $135 for no services provided. | |Had the technician as part of his trip to do an analysis and quotation of 3 projects we were looking to do. To this day, June 30th, still haven't received any quotations back. I guess they don't want to do any business. Will select someone else.

Description of Work: Happy with the service, they are able to schedule to next day service. The person at the main office kept me info of the estimated arrival of the tech. Tech are very knowledgeable and willing to explain the option.

Description of Work: They came in February to add a new receptacle and then ordered new modern updated switches for severl rooms in the house. There will be no additional charge for the second call just labor and materials. I do not know yet what the final bill will be. I have been using this company for about 15 years and will continue to do so.

Description of Work: Had several outlets that suddenly weren't operational - all on the same circuit. Apparently had an old GFI plug, and one of them was going bad. Serviceman arrived when they said he would. Was knowledgable, knew instantly what was wrong and told me. Double checked fuse box to confirm no problems which saved me a lot of money. Changed out the problematic GFI plug.All is working fine.

Description of Work: Rey did a good job. He showed up on time on 10/31 identified the issues and had the GFI and related plugs up and working. The cost was less than anticipated and we took his advice and replaced the breaker. All parts and labor warrantied for a year. Few hours after he left the same issue appeared. We reached out via Angie's List and Rey was back out Monday 11/3. He inspected every plug on the circuit and found our 13 yr old house had a loose wire on a plug some 15ft away, we never would have known. I would not hesitate suggesting you use Sugar Land Electric, great service.

Description of Work: My electrical wiring had bee done improperly. I had several copper wires exposed & although it was a new home (5 years) ...I could have had a fire.

Description of Work: The electrician replaced a specialty breaker in the breaker box that had failed. I was pleased with his work. I have been using Sugar Land Electric for several years and am always satisfied with quality of work and their professionalism. I feel that I'm charged fairly. Would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: We upgraded the master bathroom during a remodel. They moved fixtures and outlets. Also, an extra bonus. During conversation, I mentioned that we had light switches to nowhere and some that prevented other switches from operating. Other electricians had not been able to solve the problem and had estimated several thousand dollars to isolate the problem and repair. This electrician knew what it was just by description and 30 minutes later had solved the problem. Obviously not for thousands of dollars.

Description of Work: B+. Not a tidy installation (switch plate crooked, debris in light fixture, forced the vent fan installation into place). Took longer then expected (over 2 hours). Electrical was perfect, but installation unpolished. Just short of an A rating for me. I will call him again for future improvements.

Description of Work: I wrote an unfavorable review on 8/19. Within days I was contacted by Dave, the owner, with an apology and explanation that that is not how they do business. He also stated that employee no longer works there and, if I ordered the ballast, Sugar Land Electric would install it without charge. That was taken care of today. Thank you, Dave.

Description of Work: the initial respond to my request was quick. the person who did the estimate was to be the one doing the work but for some personel reason was not able to do work when promised but the owner of the company made it happen.As far as to how much i spent on the service i would prefer not to say.
