My wife and I hired Stephanie to buy our house. We hired her based on her 20+ years of experience – to get us a good deal and to protect us from harm. This, of course, is the fiduciary duty of all real estate agents in Texas under TREC. Her being a broker as well, further solidified her duty to us, the client. Stephanie provided us with bad advice on the purchase of our house. She did so in a way that robbed us of our protection. She used a “hot” housing market, suggested we provide an offer that was high in price, one-sided in favor of the sellers, took away our negotiating power and ultimately took away our protection. We were rushed and it was a one-sided deal. In the end, we bought a house with lots of problems (~ $100K in repairs) and had no recourse because of her advice. She and the Sellers’ agent made big commissions, the sellers made a handsome profit and we ended up with a mess of stress and tons of ADDITIONAL money lost on repairs. She did not protect us and that is the #1 thing a realtor should do – protect their client. We completely and utterly disapprove of how she handled this (as has 100% of the realtors we have spoken to about this). We absolutely do not recommend her because of this terrible experience.

My husband and I hired Stephanie Nelson to purchase our current home. She ill-advised us to waive our right to an inspection on a 30-year old home. During our walk throughs we pointed out potential problems of the home, visible cracks, etc. wo which she would repeatable say, "If there were any problems with the home it would have been found in previous inspections." Since then we have spent over $100000 in repairs including a new roof that started leaking into the master bedroom within a month of moving in. Stephanie Nelson has 20 years of experience and she KNOWINGLY gave us bad advice and manipulated us from the beginning. I would not recommend Stephanie Nelson to anyone.

I do not even know where to start with this review. I feel like I am reviewing my friend, not a business partner. Stephanie is highly professional and exceeded our expectations. She knows the Sugarland market well and was able to help us complete our research very quickly. When we finally found the house we loved, we were willing to make a higher offer but she told us that she could get us a better deal so we make a lower offer. It was accepted. Thank you Stephanie! As thrilled as we are with the closing of our beautiful new home, we are sad that we will no longer be in need of her services. But I am confident that we have made a new friend and that we will stay in touch with each other for a long time. If you are looking for the best realtor in town, here you go!!
