Simpson’s Tree Service has been our yard’s savior for more than 10 years! We have several 30-50 year-old oaks and ash trees that they have maintained – keeping the branches appropriately thinned out and trimmed. And they recently removed an unhealthy oak – cut it down, ground the stump, and cleared the area – and as a bonus, snipped off some new growth suckers on an adjacent tree. They don’t just come in and hack off tree parts: they understand selective limb removal to permit sunlight for the yard and balance to protect the trunks. Additionally, the crews (seemingly always managed by a family member) are incredibly efficient and their respect for both their work and your home are very comforting. We will ALWAYS call Simpson’s!

Simpson’s Tree Service did a great job trimming my 60-year-old sprawling live oaks and very tall pine trees. Mitch and his crew did a great job, accomplishing the job according to the specifications I discussed with estimator David—removing large, heavy limbs stretched over the roof of my newly-purchased rental home and thinning out the canopy, as required by my insurance company. The crew showed up on time, did the work quickly and safely, tidied up and left the property better than they found it. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others. It was a real pleasure doing business with grown men whose mother raised them right.

I have waited over a year to write this review to make sure emotions were not high and that I left an honest review. The work performed was mostly good and clean. I had an oak in the front yard trimmed and thinned out for sunlight to hit the grass and for aesthetics. They did an amazing job, but did not follow my instructions about trimming the portion over my driveway. Cars are sometimes parked in the driveway and didn’t want the debris and bird droppings on the cars. I also had some clumping bamboo that was about 25-30 feet tall cut down. Although I didn’t ask for stump grinding, I felt it could have been cut much lower to the ground. One clump was about a foot or over above ground and the other was under a foot. I was pleased with the one under a foot tall, and felt they got lazy with the last one. Some of this could have been avoided if I was home for the work, but we both agreed we had clear directions over text messaging and I did not need to be present. I okayed that to give them flexibility in scheduling as there had been recent rains interrupting their services to their customers. Bad idea. This is why I will not recommend. When the workers got to the job, there was a question about how many items we agreed upon. All of a sudden they had a math problem and wanted more money. I had to rush home to help them “count” the bushes that they had pictures of and agreed upon. Cammy, who I assume is in charge, got very animated and border line threatening over the phone about having her workers leave. Since I was rushing home from work to help them with their math problem I still allowed the work to continue. Mostly because when I got there Cammy’s son was so nice, professional, and polite. So between him and the workers that were already there, I wanted them to have the job. Unfortunately Cammy yells at her customers. I will NOT do business with them again. She is rude, crass, and unprofessional when she is not in control. If she doesn’t want to uphold an agreement over text/picture messaging then she should send someone over for an estimate. That was her call not mine. Although they are very capable to do the work, their customer service with me that day was terrible. They have been in business a long time and I’m not trying to hurt their business, but they sent me this link to fill out and I have waited over a year and still feel the same way. If you do business with them, make sure you are onsite. And if they switch up something with you, I would suggest turning down the service. I should have done that.

My experience with them was wonderful I will use them again if ever needed. They were very professional, efficient,and kind.

The service I received from Simpson Tree Service was prompt, efficient and courteous! The professionalism of the team. was apparent the minute they arrived. They went over what would be done and asked if I was happy with their service before they left. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, and I will DEFINITELY be using their services from here on out. My trees look GREAT now!! And I am so thankful that I didn’t put it off any longer. They did an excellent job removing a few trees. One of the trees was leaning at a 45 degree angle and they removed it safely. I asked them if they can leave some of the wood chips for mulch and they did. Their tree grinder makes excellent mulch.

We had a 3 trunk palm tree in the corner of the yard that needed to go because it had overgrown its space and was very ugly and hard to get to. Simpson's Tree Service made short work of removing the tree without damaging the fence it was growing against or the small fish pond that was in front of the tree! A maple tree in our front yard needed trimming because of the branches too close to the house. When the trimming was done on the maple and the palm tree was removed, everything was clean with no debris anywhere. These guys are professional, they do quality work and are very reasonable in price. We will definitely call them again and also would recommend Simpson's Tree Service to others needing this service!

Simpson's Tree Service is a family run business that is committed to providing exceptional services at competitive pricing. I called and spoke to the Mom (Cammy) who dispatched one son to estimate the job (Brandon) and the crew was lead by the other son (Nicholas). Brandon, Nicholas and the entire crew were highly professional, respectful of our family and home and careful not to damage anything or hurt themselves. They showed up exactly on time and walked down the site and reviewed the work to be done to assure they understood my expectations. They finished major trimming on 10 trees that are about 30 years old, including some very large oak limbs (10" in diameter), in 3.5 hours and hauled everything off. The work quality was excellent and gave our home a neat, clean look because they knew exactly what to take off. I asked them to do a little more work which included cutting some short oak pieces for our fire pit, and offered to pay additional. They did the additional work and said that no addition payment was required, nice. What was most impressive was that after they left, you literally could not tell they had been there because they meticulously raked and blew the yard, driveway and walk. I could not be more impressed and highly recommend using Simpson's. Great service from a wonderful family!

This was THE BEST TREE SERVICE we have ever used! They even left the POOL CLEANER than they found it! They arrived on time, worked efficiently, safely and cleaned up everything before they left! I will never use anyone else!!!

We received an itemized quote from Simpson's for removal of a small tree and trimming all of the dead branches off another very large tree. The trimming quote referred to "everywhere possible". When Simpson's arrived on site we discussed the job and spoke about "removing all of the dead and leave as much green as you can". So far so good. When the job was completed, I noticed a giant section of dead branch was still there. I was told that had to be removed with "topping" and it was not included in the "trimming" quote. We'd never been given a quote on "topping", even though our goal had been to remove all of the dead branches, and this was a huge 20 foot section. I was told it'd be another $600 for the topping. We called the office as the original appraiser was not part of the work team. The office told us topping was that expensive, couldn't explain why that was not part of the original quote, or why it was never discussed at all in the two previous interactions. We sent in pictures, and the office told us the tree was dying, topping would definitely killing it, and in their professional opinion, we were wasting our money trimming it (this is after the check cleared, of course). So, either we have a job that was not fully completed - we're guessing because Simpson's realized they underbid, so they simply stopped working - OR we have a job that shouldn't have been done at all, which Simpson's chose not to advise us on until after they were paid. One of those situations is true, and either way, I advise not using this company. I should also mention, during the job, a large branch was not properly tied and it fell, knocking down several boards from the fence between us and the neighbors. Luckily, it didn't hit a house or one of the guys standing within a few feet with no helmets on. Simpson's never came to tell me they knocked down the boards - and when I confronted them about it, they said they had already left to buy new boards and would replace them. I guess my neighbors were just supposed to wonder why suddenly a small section of fence was very obviously no longer stained?

It went incredibly well. I was t sure how to describe what I was wanting them to do. They have a ton of experience and they understood exactly why I was wanting. They completed the job and clean up was perfect. Would highly recommend and will use in the future.

It went great! They arrived at the time they were supposed to and they did a really good job! They also cleaned up everything,so there was no mess left. Very satisfied.

Overall the work was good. We had 1 minor issue which the owner worked through to our satisfaction.

Work was done well and as discussed with estimator. They may have been a bit more expensive than some but they are bonded, insured, and have been in business for a long time. We were very happy with the results.

Their price is so high. I think that I wasted my time to have an estimate. For all do need tree service, I think that having 3 to 4 bids are important because price varies significantly. We chose another company and they did an excellent job.

They're five stars all the way across as far as price, service, dependability, the way they cleaned up your yard after they're done trimming your trees. We have three 50-year-old oak trees on our property and they left absolutely manicured when they're finished and there is not a twig left in the yard.
