Select Electric Corp

This company performed major repair work on two large outdoor floodlights in October 2008. Approximately 11 months later neither floodlight was working properly. After my experience as outlined above, and no response to my telephone calls, I contacted another electrical company. It was determined that the wrong parts were installed on one floodlight, resulting in a blown circuit breaker requiring the services of an electrician to restore both floodlights to good working order. Repairs were made and no further problems have occurred. I contacted the Owner/Manager of the original company, advising her of this. She refused to accept this information as factual and stated I should have given them one more chance. (Despite the fact that they were not returning my messages.) I have made no formal demands or claims on this company, though the second electrician documented for me that in his opinion the incorrect parts installed by first company caused the blown circuit breaker problem. I will not do business with the original company again, nor recommend them to my friends.

It went really well. The electrician that came out was one that had been to our house before. They were able to come right out when we had a problem with the ceiling fan. There is a service fee that is applied when they come out even if they don't do any work but if they do work it comes off the total of the final bill.

They did find what was wrong, but it ended up happening again. They did come back out. One good thing is that I only got charged for the service call and it was worth it. We are fine now and I am pleased. They worked out just fine.

Select Electric were very nice people to deal with. They did an awesome job installing my ceiling fans. They did a great job cleaning up as well. I couldn't even tell that they had been there. They gave me the best bid I could find. I feel that they installed high quality fans with excellent workmanship.
