S & B Plumbing Inc

Apparently, this is a pretty common malfunction in single-control temperature-adjustment valves for showers. Part is available at a home improvement store, etc., but I was unfamiliar with the installation procedure. While it seems fairly simple to install, I would probably call them in again to replace. Part cost was $50, the balance was for the service call itself. Inquired about installation of a whole house filter system. They quoted $525 to do the job with an AquaPure system. Independently, I found the unit on the Internet for approximately $100. So $425 for the installation seems a bit steep.

They did an excellent job over all. They showed up on time and got the work done quickly. Also they cleaned up after them selves. And their prices were very good.

They came in on time they worked quickly there work was perfect we were so happy with them on every level.

They came within two days. I had said we could limp along. They were polite, professional, efficient. From my description on the phone, they were uncertain whether I needed a new garbage disposal, but on arrival decided mine was adequate and did not merit replacement.

I called S&B Plumbing on Friday night just before their closing. We made an appointment for a service call at noon, Monday. Since I didn't have a complete blockage, waiting until then was acceptable. I received a call at 9:00am Monday to inform me that they could come over right away. They arrived at about 9:30am and were finished by 10:00am. Mike and Jeff were very professional; they cleaned out the line for 75 ft. to insure the blockage was removed completely. Upon finishing their work, they told me what I needed to use to keep my drains open and where to obtain the product.

We were very happy with S&B Plumbing. When we originally called them, we intended to purchase a tank-less hot water heater, but after they explained the pros and cons of that type vs. traditional hot water heaters, including the cost of each, we decided to purchase 2 traditional hot water heaters instead. We were impressed that S&B didn't try to immediately sell us the most expensive product, but tried to help us determine which was really best for our needs. S&B also did various other plumbing tasks around our house, and everything was completed as requested. Brent was very easy to work with. We would definitely use S&B again.

Their service was very poor. I knew that I had a problem and that is why I called them but when they ran the test for an hour they said nothing was wrong. Well I still ended up having a problem so I had them run another test and they only ran it for an hour, still they said nothing is wrong. S & B Plumbing was so wrong because when I had someone else come, they found the shower pan was leaking and now it is going to cost me more money because of their inaccurate tests and knowledge.

THE 2 GENTLEMEN THAT CAME WERE STEPHEN AND CARLOS. THEY ARRIVED WHEN SAID AND THERE WORK WAS VERY NEAT AND CLEAN. THEY WERE POLITE AND DID A GOOD JOB. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEM. THERE PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE AND WERE ACTUALLY LOWER THAN OTHER COMPANIES.

They followed through well and were clear with what was going to be done. They were easy to deal with and did a god job.

The upstairs toilet kept stopping up. S&B (or Sugarland) Plumbing ran an auger down it but they were concerned that it still drained a little slowly. They determined that it was a problem with the toilet itself, and they replaced it, all in one trip. They did a good, quick, clean job, and they were very friendly.

We called S & B for an estimate and they scheduled an inspection the following week. They arrived on a Tuesday, surveyed the attic from the access (no clambering about actually looking at the pipes), and wandered about the house. One fellow took a cell phone call and went to our bedroom rather than outside, while the other went to the garage to look at the water heater. They said that they'd get an estimate to us the next day and left. Friday, my wife called and they said they had forgotten, got our e-mail address and promised the estimate that evening. The following Monday, I called and was given a price that was half again what the other company wanted, plus, they would be tearing up the kitchen tile-work at our expense and tried to convince us that we needed to do the cold water pipes as well. We called the other company back.

Two men arrived at the last possible OK time (although I knew from my phone conversation earlier that their arrival time would be dependent upon the previous job.) They were courteous, friendly, and focused on the task. I appreciated the information shared. They were at my house maybe 30 minutes.

After calling first, S & B arrived on time. They first checked whether a 50 gal. water heater would replace the old 40 gal. While one plumber went to get the water heater the second replaced the faucet and prepared the old water heater for removal. Only snag was sediment blocking the tub faucet and kitchen faucet when water was turned on. S & B flushed the blockage from the hot water side of the tub and shower valve. They cleaned out the kitchen faucet filters.

Wayne & Brent were the plumbers. They were polite and helpful. I wasn't even aware we had a gas leak but Wayne said he smelled gas and hunted down the problem thank goodness. It was one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. They will be used again.

They arrived (Two men) a little ahead of time, which I didn't mind at all! Water was spraying everywhere, and they found the problem quickly, in fact, they were coming down the ladder and I assumed they were going outside to get parts from their truck or maybe the store, but they had already replaced the hoses with quality copper products and disposed of the old hoses. All within a few minutes. Of course with me not being able to follow them up there, I was enchanted that they did not attempt to gouge me with an inflated estimate of the work and parts needed. What a relief to find honest plumbers!

They were good. They've already been back another time.

Sugarland Plumbing did a great job for us. They replaced all the galvanized pipe in my house. They showed up when they said they were going to and they took care of all my leaking problems. I have used them for awhile now and I will continue to use them. The only problem I have with them is that they work no nights or weekends.

Sugarland Plumbing explained that the clog was just from build up and what we needed to do to protect it form happening again. They responded to our call pretty quickly and I believe it was the next morning. The workers didn't try to add any extra costs, which I was impressed with.

In March we had a sluggish drain in our house so we called and had Sugarland Plumbing come out to take a look. They snaked it out, but that still wasn't the problem so they put a camera down to take pictures. The cameras revealed there was a broken pipe so they had to dig down and take the old piping out and put new pipe in. Recently, we had to call them again as we had another problem. They came right out and checked things over for us and discovered that the problem was in the city's system so we called, and they looked after it.

The service men from Sugarland Plumbing are very courteous and efficient. We had a new faucet and toilet replaced by them. They were very punctual and professional and completed the job in a few hours. We were pleased with the prices, as it was reasonable as well.

GREAT. SCOTT TRIED THE EASY/INEXPENSIVE STUFF FIRST AND DIDN'T TRY TO PAD THE BILL. THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND COURTEOUS AND DIDN'T MIND THE WHOLE FAMILY WATCHING THEM WORK.

SCOTT WAS EXCELLENT! HE CALLED / CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD AND WAS FLEXIBLE WITH MY SCHEDULE. THEY CHARGED REASONABLE RATES AND DID A NICE JOB INSTALLING THE FILTER SYSTEM AND THE HOSE BIB.
