The water leak in my attic was unique indeed. It was actually a cascading pin-hole, very light water spray that soaked my attic area and ceiling for probably 3 days. I was lucky it never soaked my duct work, or sprayed water on my electrical equipment or furnace - it could have been much worse. It had finally progressed to sheetrock damage (whole sheet fallen down) upstairs and began to stain downstairs MBR ceiling w/ water collecting in ceiling fan globe.This had begun while I was on a business trip. Mike and his team turned the water back on, and in 3 minutes detrmined the source of the leak and a strategy to repair. Since the source was the inlet water pipe to the Water Heater, he was able to fix the leak, replacing the pipes with all copper, American-Made product and adjusted pipes and pressure valve and then actually serviced my water heater! He and his team were professional, knowledgable and experienced in their trade. Additionally, I am calling them back out for an estimate to replace old and deteriorating galvanized pipes and plumbing in the attic - the house is just at that stage where the galvanized pipes are going bad. Highly recommend these guys - they did not take advantage of the situation and charged me only for a water Heater Servicing (extremely fair offer). They are a local family business that have been here for a very long time - I have found me a Plumbing Company, and they have found a loyal customer.

I made the appointment for them to come out at 8:30, Brent showed up at 8:10. He and Jeff replaced all the pipes, valves and handles and were done in about an hour. a few weeks later a leak developed, I called on a Saturday, left a message and they were out on Monday to fix the small leak. Very professional and quick.

Arrived on time and very friendly. They searched for the foul odor by checking several sources. They identified the leak in the shower and determined it was not a leak but the actual shower glass/caulk leaking.

Would definitely will use their services again.

My overall experience was very good. They were very honest and their price was very reasonable. We had to call them a few days after because our toilet was stuck up again and they came out and took care of it.

Estimate was provided over then phone at scheduling. Plumber arrived on time, prepared, and completed the installation in a little over an hour.

Had a leak that started on Friday and got worse by Monday. Called in the morning after insurance said to get someone quick. They were quick to make an appointment for the early afternoon. Ruben showed up. I showed him the areas with standing water and he asked many questions to determine whether it was a supply or drain issue. I told him we thought it was an outside wall pipe. But he continued with his inspection and questions. Eventually, it led us to the attic and turned out the AC drain had clogged up. He snaked it and we temp treated the drain line. Problem solved. He discussed with me some possible issues and solutions if I had further trouble. Very professional. Price was reasonable, could have been worse (I was ready to tear down sheetrock to fix that pipe myself if need be, lol), plus I forgot to use the coupon. But will definitely use them again and use that coupon next time.

This is the second time I called for Mike. I had Mike to fix a toilet valve and flapper. It's been two years, I like the result of his work. During that visit, I asked Mike to assess my water heater because it had noise from precipitation. Mike told me I had about two more years before a change is needed. As it's two years later, I felt it's about time to change the water heater. We had two 50 gallon water heaters in the attic. I estimated that one 50 gallon water heater will be enough for us. Mike and Mike came for an estimate first, then came on a scheduled date to remove the old ones and install a new Rheem. The price includes a fee to remove the old ones and permit fee. All went very well. It's been a month since the water heater was changed, we enjoy enough hot water with no noise from the attic.

This was a fantastic company. Bo Burke was a very professional plumber and very honest. They gave us an estimate for the work and our final bill was the exactly the same. In my experience with companies before, the final bill was ALWAYS higher and always found other things that had to be repaired. We got 3 estimates and they were all higher and one even wanted to charge me for permits I didn't need. They completed the work within the time frame they gave us. I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

The service was done efficiently and quickly by two knowledgeable, nice, and competent guys. They arrived very promptly. Highly recommended!

The plumbers came on time and were very professional. They removed the toilet and fixed the leak vert quickly. They also checked all the faucets for leaks and sinks for clogs without asking. They found a clog in a sink and cleared it. I was very happy with the service we received. The office staff member that I spoke to when I called to make the appointment was also extremely helpful and professional.

I had a leak on the outside of my home, that lead to the main water line.I called S&B plumbing on Sunday evening to leave a message fo return my call. Nicole promtly called me on Monday morning, and set up an appointment for Monday evening after 1600. Mike called me before 1600 and said was on his way. Mike and his assistant came over diagnosed and fixed the leak that I had.. Mike and assistant was very professional and cordial. I didn't talk to the assstant, but Mike introduced himself was very pleasant and friendly. The experience was very positive and I will always use S&B for my plumbing.needs, also will recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors.

I called for an estimate of charges and to make an appointment. They had a truck in the area that was finishing a job early, so the plumbers arrived within the hour. They were courteous and explained everything they needed to do and what they encountered during the snaking. I asked about other services and mentioned that the bathtub drains are slow. He took off the drain cover and removed some hair which helped the drainage right away. It just took a couple of minutes and he didn't charge me. I'm going to check the second tub myself now that he showed me how to do it. I've had terrible experiences with other plumbing companies and am so relieved that I now have a plumber I can call. I won't be trying any other. I appreciate the service so much.

After I made the service call, Richard Preston and his helper from S&B Plumbing showed up within 30 Minutes. He explained exactly what needed to be done. Gave an estimate. I agreed on the price. Afterwards showed me what he did, explained everything again and left the place as clean as he found it. Very professional and courteous. I also received a coupon for 20 US $ of the next service call. I will use them again and I will ask for Richard.

Bo the plumber was amazingly honest. We had wanted to install a clean out. He and his 2 loyal assistants poked around in my backer. He was patient and finally discovered that we already had a clean out. 3 previous plumbers had no idea. We had paid twice- to lift toilet, run a snake for 100 to find out if there was a blockage. Bo is the genius of all plumbers. I highly recommend him being the first one to call for any estimate on plumbing, drains, sewere, etc. It redeems your faith in humanity to find honest people who re not there to exploit. He could've made $475 for installing a new one, but chose to be honest!

I was pleased with the results of Stephen's work. I haven't followed up on the contractor suggested by Stephen due to the holidays.

Wonderful. Received an estimate for same work from another plumbing company that we have used in the past at $1500 just to move gas pipe, so we decided to try someone on Angies List. Wayne came out for an estimate and ended up moving gas in less that an hour. He gave us an estimate for rest of work we wanted done and I called when we were ready. Brent arrived prompty and did an excellent job, since we haven't had any problems. We have already referred the company to a friend, who was very happy with their work.

they arrived on time. very nice and polite. gave me a price that was acceptable. I wanted to discuss with my wife so they left. After the discussion I called the company to set the repair. The young lady I spoke with said they would do a pressure test. I was told about that. what I was not told is that the pressure tewst would cost over $400.00 I told the young lady that I wold like that in writing. She said she would send it by email. I said that would be fine. I never heard from them again. After a week I went on to someone else.

Overall, the experience went very well. The plumbers called beforehand and arrived on time, did a good job and completed the work all in one day. Since my galvanized pipes were springing holes, which resulted in my sheetrock becoming wet, they replaced my galvanized pipe with pex tubing, which is a plastic pipe. Their bid was very reasonable (I had somebody else that bid on this job, which was substantially more). My water heater is located in my attic and came up pretty close to the roof, which violated a fire code that I was unaware of, since this water heater was replaced by a smaller water heater. They had to relocate the heater to get it further away from the roof, which they did (the other company didn't even mention this), which I appreciated. This wasn't even calculated in the bid. They installed a new vent stack through the roof as well. They checked with me afterwards to make sure everything was okay. I had one issue/question, and they came out and checked it the next day; they were very responsive and wanted to make sure everything was fine. Nothing ended up being wrong, but I did have that concern and they were willing to check on it. While they were here, they took care of a few things for me at no charge, since they had the tools and knowledge to do so, which I appreciated very much. They really went above and beyond. They always made sure my questions and concerns were answered. I haven't had any problems since. I would certainly call them again and I have nothing to complain about.

It was the friday evening before a holiday weekend that we realized the hot water was only warm. It was to late to get anyone then, so on Monday I joined Angies List, got the name of a local company with great ratings and called. From the moment the phone was answered, I felt confident I was in the hands of people I could trust. Everyone involved in our service was kind, professional and honest about themselves and their work.

I was given an estimate over the phone for the expected amount of time it would take to perform the job and the price per hour. The technicians arrived in a timely manner and performed the services within the estimated time frame. They were very professional.

The service was great. I explained what I needed done. They went to work and and within no time they were finished. The guys did a fantastic job. If I ever need a plumber I will certainly give S&B/Sugarland plumbing a call

The plumber was very competent, and he took pride in doing the job right. Also, the price was much lower than the quotes we had from a couple of other plumbers. We just sent a description of the service needed a week in advance to S & B through Angie's list, and they emailed us an estimated range of their pricing. They put us on their schedule for the morning, and the next week the plumber and his helper came out, slightly delayed by a problem with their truck. Our cabinet opening for the sink was so tight that I was worried that it would be a challenge to get the pull-down brackets in place, but they were able to install the sink with all of the brackets. They seemed very confident that they could make it work, and they worked together to make sure that the sink was mounted flat on the counter top. They also mounted the faucet and soap dispenser on the sink. The plumber replaced the cold cut-off valve with separate valves for the faucet and refrigerator, and he put in brass pipes to each valve. They also installed a garbage disposer with new chrome-plated drain pipes. The plumber installed a new PVC coupler on the wall drain pipe to make the connections simpler, and the drain pipes look great. They cleaned up the excess caulk around the sink and picked up all of the trash. The entire plumbing installation looks very professional, and the price was probably on the low end of their original estimate. The new cut-off valves were added on to the job after the faucet got clogged with debris.
