This is the 2nd time I've used S&B and will definitely call them again. They communicate well, arrive on time, explain what needs to be done and even reminded me there was an Angie's List coupon available.

Great. Everything explained and done perfect.

I called S & B (based on a review of Angie's List for plumbers in my area), and they arrived within 90 minutes of my call. The technician identified the problem, corrected the issue, and had me up and going again in less than 30 minutes.

Fixed well. Price a little on the high side. 200 plus dollars.

Corrective work was successfully undertaken. Only reservation is that solution may not be permanent.

The work went well overall. The plumbing work was done professionally and everything was kept very clean and neat while they worked. The plumber discovered a blockage in the overflow drain of the bathroom sink, which I did not know was there. He was able to clean out the blockage and re-install the bathroom sink with a new stopper assembly. He also installed the existing faucet back onto the sink. The plumbers were concerned that the drain line from the garbage disposal was too low, since it was at the same level as the drain line in the kitchen wall. That was something that had not occurred to us when we decided on a deeper kitchen sink. He performed several drain tests, by completing filling both sides of the kitchen sink and then letting them drain while the garbage disposal was running, to verify that the sink would drain and not back up any. He even took photos of the drain with his cell phone and sent the photos to a master plumber, to get his opinion as to whether the drain line was too low. I was impressed with the level of checking and verifying that was performed to make sure that the kitchen sink would drain properly. He let me know that the drain line did not meet the building code, because of it level in relation to the wall drain, but the drain still functioned properly. This avoided having to cut into the wall and perform a more expensive operation to relocate the wall drain. So, in the end, the following work was performed: Re-install the garbage disposal under the kitchen sink. Remove all plumbing lines under the kitchen sink and replace all of the lines from the wall drain back to the garbage disposal. Install the new kitchen faucet onto the sink. This was an under-counter top type sink, so the faucet installation was through the new Silestone counter top. The holes had already been drilled into the counter top by the counter top fabricators. Clean-up and re-install the sink and faucet onto the new counter top in the master bathroom. The hold for the sink had already been cut into the Silestone by the counter top fabricators. The total charge for the work was $832, with $477 of that being for work in the kitchen and the remaining $355 for the work in the master bathroom.

They are excellent and I trust them. They are very prompt and professional. They always come in twos and have a junior tech they train. They are also very polite and I would highly recommend them as well.

We had a clog from kitchen sink and washinging machine line to main drain. Called S&B around 8 AM and they were at our house earlier than expected. They unclogged the line and checked the sink and dishwahser and were done in about 30 minutes. Very professional and provided advice on best ways to use disposal and cleaning wasing machine bin.

They did a good job and have always done good work in the past.

Perfect, they were able to respond quickly and get the gas line repaired and verify that the leak was resolved. It if was not for the quick response we may have had to wait a day or longer to get hot water and gas back to the house.

It went great. Mike and Johnny were very prompt and courteous. Mike found some problems (corroded connections) we did not know we had, which he showed to us. They kept us informed as to what they were doing. We are very pleased with their work, and do not hesitate to highly recommend this company, and especially Mike and Johnny. Great. Professional, polite, careful and thorough. He talked me through his inspection of the problem with the tub. It's an old house and I was worried, but he was able to fix it without major trauma! They had fixed different plumbing problems, one more major, some years ago and I was happy with their work. This time, I could not find their information, so requested help from Angie's List. However, in the meantime, I found the info after talking to a relative (they had been originally referred by another relative) and called them. I'm glad I did. Nice folks.

I have not had any previous experience with this company. I first called them the last week of June to get an approximate cost of replacing our water heater and was given a price, which included removal of the old water heater. After getting a second proposal through our Home Warranty provider, I called S&B again on 7/5 to ask what brand/model water heater would be installed and it was the exact model that the Home Warranty vendor proposed so it was a true apples-to-apples comparison except that S&B's quote was $725 less than the gross amount of the other vendor and $225 less than the other vendor after application of the Home Warranty alleged payment. I was also informed that S&B's quote would not include any work that might be required due to code issues or other issues unknown. So, based on the excellent reviews on S&B and the vastly cheaper proposal, I ask to schedule the installation. It was set for 7/7, with the technicians to arrive between 8:00 - 9:00 am. I received a phone call shortly before 8:00 am to inform me that they were on the way. They arrived at 8:30 am and introduced themselves (Evan and Eddie). After a quick viewing of the existing water heater, Evan told me that the existing heater was a "short" heater although I had described it as a "tall" heater. Although they only brought a "tall" heater for replacement, Evan indicated that it would still fit easily within the space since the pitch of our roof was steep, leaving plenty room for the new "tall" unit. He indicated that it would be necessary to install a vent adapter to eliminate the need for the roof seal to separate, otherwise we would have to have a roofer come out to reseal the vent. The work was completed within an hour, and the technicians restored the area to the condition it was in when they arrived. It was noted at the time the billing was presented that the vent adapter work was an additional $100 however I also had a $50 coupon from Angie's list that left the final price at $1,095. Evan and Eddie both were professional in their appearance and their manner as well as friendly, polite and personable. I would not hesitate to recommend S&B nor hesitate to use them again.

It was very, very good. They are here when they say they will be here. They get to the bottom of the problem and fix it. They are pricey but they a very good.

Had water build up in the yard which backed up into the house. Bo came out, diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue in a hour.

Very well. Came out within about an hour of being contacted to measure and work with us to select the model. The whole job was completed within 2.5 hrs of our first contacting them!
