Got quote from Quality Fences to replace 18 year old wood fence. Also gave neighbors on either side quotes and we all used this company to fix our fences. Generally work and materials were fine for 3/4 of the effort. They put in new treated pine posts and rails with western red cedar fence pickets. Response times during quote processs were mixed. Overall process took a couple months, summer weather played a factor, there was a shortage of material, but there was clearly a delay in execution. Commitments made with regards to timing were not kept on multiple occasions and while the majority of work was eventually done after a couple of weeks with little progress and no response to messages left with owner of company. After no response for over a week I took this past weekend to tackle the last bit of finish work on the fence myself by putting in missing nails, finishing up final trim that was incomplete, cutting down a post, and finishing installation of gate hardware. One latch was not properly installed and I fixed it, I purchased additional latches to finish the work myself. That being said the fence looks pretty good. When John is engaged (part of the time) you are pretty happy but then it seems he just didn't see this one through all the way as I would have expected. Entire project took much longer than anticipated.
